I recently tried so fresh in Durbin after about 3 years and I ordered the BBQ bowl with seasoned rice, onions, corn, and black beans, along with blackened chicken as my protein. The chicken was really well seasoned and not dry at all, definitely impressive. The BBQ sauce added a nice flavor, and I like how healthy and balanced their menu options are overall. Mobile ordering was also quick and easy, which made the experience even better.

I ordered a DIY bowl and frankly I should be banned from having this much decisioning power. My salad came out at $23 and it was absolutely loaded with all the things I like.. and that is fine with me. Ingredients tasted fresh and some of the toppings were a bit stingy considering I paid ala cart price for them. Dressings come in prepackaged containers. Casual. Order via kiosk but the salad was prepared quickly. Please come and create your own adventure.

I am a big fan of CAVA so thought I would see how I like this place since it's closer to home. It was good but just not quite as good as CAVA. I will say that they have more to choose from on their menu and I will definitely go back and try some other things. I like that you can see what they are making for you at CAVA, while at So Fresh it's all done in the back. I hope the food is as "healthy" as it seems to be. Not much interaction with workers since you order it yourself at a kiosk, which I am not a big fan of doing.

Went in an hour before they closed You order using a kiosk, they bring the food out to you. I ordered the warm noodle bowl with tofu, edamame, kale, and noodles. The bowl came with Teriyaki sauce on the side. All of it was delicious and the portion size was great too! I also had the berry tea and this was good also, not too sweet. Thought the prices were reasonable. I'd love to go back!

    DESIGN YOUR OWN WARM BOWL

Located near Cinemark, this has been one of my go-to dinner places to eat whenever we watch a movie. They serve fresh and healthy ingredients with several options such as warm bowls, wraps and drinks. They have a kiosk where you can order your food and then wait for them to call your name. I always get the Design Your Own Bowl. My favorite is the combination of Asian noodles, quinoa, mushrooms, kale, broccoli, blackened chicken and kale pesto for the sauce. Don't forget to add siracha (they have a bottle on every table) for a little bit of kick! Delicious! The have maintained the cleanliness of the place and service was fast.

Came for a quick bite, tried the small bowl and the green juice. Perfect amount for me. Loved the chicken breast and the rice. Will come back another day and try more from the menu. Looks good and super healthy. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the service.

Super impressed all around. You place your order and in about 5 min your food is brought to your table. The drinks came immediately. Hubby got the lemonade. It was super great because it was just barely sweet and not too sour. Just right. The cucumber infused water was really infused not just water with cucumbers floating. So good. I loved that there were meat options with sustainable food sources like wild caught fish. The avocado cream was like whipped avocados so good with my meal. The kale was perfectly sautéed with an oil of some kind. I do wish I knew what they used. However the kale was perfectly cooked and shredded almost finely. The broccoli was also cooked al dente and yet tender at the same time. Sweet potato cubes-perfection in texture for how they were roasted. The tuna was tossed in an Asian flavorings -super delish! This place had a lot of people in and out while we were eating in the dining area. This must be the spot!

    CALI

I had another wonderful salad at SoFresh!! I had to go back to the Cali. The red quinoa and the black beans mesh perfectly with the grilled chicken and avocados. The citrus vinaigrette dressing makes the salad that much better!! I will come back and get something other than the Cali, promise!

First time customer - Paid $40 for this bowl on DoorDash and they "forgot" both the salmon and avocado. Really disappointed; shame on you SoFresh

    Grand Opening today (Friday 4/14/23)

Are you ready to bring your Sexy back?!?! If losing weight is part of your New Year's resolution, then this is the place for you. Grand Opening today of SoFresh, located in Durbin Pavilion Park in Saint John's. SoFresh is synonymous with what they do. Everything is made fresh. It's a scratch kitchen concept which I love the most. Fresh Stir Frys, Smoothies, Wraps, Quesadillas, Salads and more. This is a great place for healthy eats especially for health conscious eaters. I ordered the Stir Fry Bowl with added Shrimp. Along with Infused Water. Yummmmms. SoFresh, SoGood, SoDelicious... ...and best part is, they are a close drive for me. SoCool

I arrived around 11:30, an hour after their grand opening. I expected the line to be long but it wasn't too bad. Saw a few guys standing by the door passing out menus. I came to the kiosk and saw that if I download their app and order on there, there's a $5 off. A very nice lady came by a bit later and told me she could take my order to the kitchen herself, which was so nice of her for stepping in to help especially after I struggled to place my order for 20 minutes. I got the poke ahi tuna bowl and the chicken Super Bowl. Both are delicious! The Tuna is fresh comes with a hint of spicy sauce, Perfect combo with brown rice, seaweed salad, carrots. Really hope they can get more help to working in the kitchen to speed up the process moving forward.

Power bowl with Grilled Chicken Breast and Infused Water
    Veronica E.

I tried SoFresh for the first time today for lunch and was not disappointed! I got the power bowl with chicken. I really liked the kale-basil pesto that came with it. The portion was so big I couldn't finish it. I also ordered cucumber infused water which was very refreshing. It was such a nice day I sat outside at one of the many covered tables. The staff were very friendly, helpful and quick. I will definitely be coming back!

I really can't believe I haven't reviewed this fast casual restaurant yet…read more We have been going here at least once a week since they opened. The food is great, fresh and the serving size is awesome. They have $15 specials with an appetizer which is a good value. My husband and my MIL almost always order the small salad with gyro meat. Susan and I visited The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill expecting a traditional sit down restaurant…read moreand instead discovered a counter service spot that completely won us over. From the moment we walked in, the space felt clean, bright, and welcoming, with a simple Mediterranean style that made it comfortable to dine in. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, both dining in and picking up takeout, which immediately told us this place has built a loyal following. The food is where The Great Greek really shines. We started with the four dip combo, and honestly, that alone is worth the visit. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The tirokafteri had a bold kick that built just enough heat to keep things interesting. Paired with plenty of warm, soft pita, it is an easy dish to share and one we would happily order every time. For our main dishes, I ordered the gyro, which I often use as a benchmark when trying a Greek restaurant. The meat was flavorful, the pita was fresh, and the tzatziki sauce really stood out, tying everything together beautifully. The feta fries were another highlight and were hard to stop eating. Susan ordered the Atlantic salmon, and it ended up being the biggest surprise of the meal. It was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and paired with sides that complemented the fish rather than overpowering it. Portion sizes are generous, pricing feels very fair for the quality and amount of food, and service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Even though this is a counter service restaurant, staff brought the food to the table and checked in to make sure everything was just right. We even left with leftovers and dessert to enjoy later, which is always a good sign. What we thought would be a quick meal turned into a really enjoyable dining experience. This is a restaurant we will absolutely be returning to and one we are happy to recommend to anyone looking for great Greek food done well.

He asked me where I had been and I named the places and he said, in essence, "do you expect to find authentic Italian food at Olive Garden". I had to say NO ( I mean it is not really bad but it is NOT authentic). He then suggested JAX Spice with the proviso that he was NOT related ot anyone there and gets no perks for recommendations, but that it is where he goes when his wife does not cook (and for the record she teached Indian cooking) Well I went and it was the best Indian food I have had since I ate Indian in London (about as good and authentic as you can get unless you actually go to India). Their prices look high at first but then the portions arrive. A couple can EASILY share n entree and even have some to take home. The Tikka Masala and Butter chicken are both DELICIOUS and here is the surprising part for me. I am a dyed in the wool carnivore and even I like (and will order) the vegetarian dishes. Their veggie Korma is super and their Gobi Manchurian is binge worthy. I cannot stop ordering it! The ambiance is laid back and service is super (at least at the one off CR 210 that I go to). I cannot say enough good about it and I get cravings about twice a month and have to go there. It is a bit more upscale than many of the Jax establishments, but still laid back enough that you feel comfortable with a big family.

I think it may have been Morgan (she had red hair). My daughter was recouping from having her tonsils and adenoids removed, so softer food that weren't spicy were items that we were looking for. This waitress knew the menu well and offered very helpful suggestions. She really went above and beyond trying to suggest and think of which dish would be best given my daughter's limitations. Our appetizer (Spinach and Artichoke Dip) was on the table in a timely manner and very good. (I didn't take a photo) Our meal arrived quickly and the presentation was very nice. I had the cheeseburger sliders. They were decent. I had a Sprite and she just had ice water. My daughter had chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and a special sweet dipping sauce that our thoughtful waitress suggested. I can't say much about the tenders as my daughter's viewpoint may not be fair given she is recouping from surgery. The sweet dip our waitress suggested was surprisingly delicious. We also had a side of hush puppies. The hush puppies were "so so", but in fairness to the establishment, it's not really a highlighted item on the menu, it was just a "side" that sounded good to us. My "Hang-Up" with "Walk-Ons" was that it was what I would consider pretty pricey given what we ordered. Our bill was $51 without tip. Pros: Excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly waitress, atmosphere. Cons: Price was on the high side given the menu items that we chose. Our conclusion was that it's likely a fun place to watch a game and have an appetizer/drinks with friends.

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.
