    The chicken cesar salad sizing
    Stephanie S.

So we tried Bronx Pizza for the first time via Uber One eats delivery. I can't believe no one is mentioning how INSANELY expensive their food is. We only got a Margherita Pizza and added pepperoni and a promo free chicken cesar salad. I am originally from up north so I feel I've had my fair share of amazing pizza from MD & NY. The water truly matters. I did enjoy the sauce and the dough was tasty. However....OMGGGG $37.50 for a pizza only adding pepperoni??!!!! And IF I hadn't gotten that salad it would have cost $17.50! Sorry not sorry but there's no way I'm paying this kind of money again for a normal size pizza nothing extraordinary. So I tried it. Never again. I can get an amazing much cheaper same pizza from V pizza MUCH cheaper. Sorry Bronx. I know you're a chain anyways also.

I was very excited when I saw a new pizza place on CR210. Especially when it was only a few miles from my house. It's in the same shopping center as the original CR210 Publix. It was about 11:15am and my wife had run over to grab a few things at Publix. I grabbed the opportunity and asked her to grab a pizza and a calzone for us from Bronx House Pizza. I called in the order and was told about 20 to 25 minutes. The woman who took the order was very nice and polite. She also answered my questions about prices that aren't on their menu. My wife arrived about 1135am to pick up the pizza. She said the line and wait was so long that it took about 30 minutes to pay and pick up the order. She said there was one person making pizza and one person on the counter who was also running around doing other things. The counter woman was very nice and polite helping my wife but it was obvious she needed extra help. By the time my wife arrived home with the order the pizza and calzone were cold and had to be reheated in our oven. We live less than 3 miles from the location. The pizza was very good. The best on CR210. It had a thin crisp crust. The sauce is sweet and very good. There were a lot of fresh and flavorful toppings on it. Sadly the cheese was a little tough and chewy. I enjoyed the pizza except the cheese really knocked it down. I just wished the cheese was of better quality or maybe just fresher. I asked my wife if she liked the calzone. She replied, "It's good, but nothing to die for." She added that she has had better sausage than what was in the calzone. I was disappointed when I went to their website and discovered that this was a chain pizza place. However, as far as chains go this was the best "chain pizza" I ever had. It wasn't on their website when we ordered but a large cheese pizza is $19 and change. I paid $21.99 for a large 2 toppings pizza. If you like N.Y. style pizza try Bronx House Pizza. It's the best pizza in the CR210 area. I'm wishing for a better cheese supplier.

We've stopped in here before picking up orders for food delivery and have been wanting to stop and eat here. We were not disappointed. The joint is small, but the interior is so cool. Service is quick and friendly. We had Haley who mentioned she was new, but she did a lovely job! Efficient and never missed anything. We started out with the garlic knots. I cannot stress enough how superb these bad boys were. Crispy and warm, served with marinara sauce. Plus, they're sitting in a garlic butter sauce that just added extra *chefs kiss* to it all. Then we split a large pizza, the Big Al. The crust was thinner and so crispy all around. We really enjoyed the toppings of this one, I definitely wanted more. Dipped the crust in ranch which was tasty. The ranch did cost extra, but they were both very good sizes and felt like I got my money's worth. We will be back to try the other dishes for sure!

Yall.........YA'LLLLLLLLA. Thank you to who brought this delight to our side of Florida! Honestly the pizza is great don't get me wrong. But the Greek Salad stole the show! Soo freaking good. Just go. Stop right now and go!

My to go order I could not eat in the empty out door seating area.

We ordered a meal for pick up, paid and tipped. Once we purchased and walked outside, we decided it was beautiful weather and we might as well enjoy our food and eat at their out side seating. There was not one customer inside or outside. We started eating out food and an employee came out and told us we were not allowed to eat their take out food at their restaurant. We were told the manager said we had to leave because , "it looked bad." We told the employee we did not know this rule and no signs are posted. We asked if we could just finish our meal and we won't do that again and we were told no. We will not return and will recommend friends and family take their business somewhere else. What terrible customer service. I now understand why no one was inside or outside at this location. We were also told by said employee just be glad I came out and not the manager.

Food and service are outstanding. The pizza is traditional NY style. They've got a great menu for everything else. Wings, pasta, hero's and the portion sizes are huge. You will have leftovers. I only got a picture of my egg plant parm, but we ordered a lot. I recommend starting with the garlic knots.

Food and service are always excellent and consistent. We usually order take-out but today we dined in and it was even better since it was hot off the press! We love that they offer gluten-free crust and their topping selection (department of sanitation) is delicious! The sauce they use for their pizza is perfect...not sweet. Highly recommend this location! A+++

Half of the sandwich I couldn't eat because it was so large, but wanted to so badly because it's that good!

So delicious! And this portion!!! Highly recommend getting the fat paulie! Price is right, atmosphere is nice!

Finally decided to branch out from our usual local pizza spot and tried Bronx House. Unfortunately they only deliver a 5 miles radius so we had to pickup but that's ok. We ordered a large cheese which is 16 inches and a Calzone. The pizza is perfectly in line with what we love from our favorite place with an "S". The only downfall is the size at 16 inches vs 18 for the same price. They cooked it perfectly well done. I'm super picky with Rolls, I don't like ricotta. I was easily able to request no ricotta and it came out fantastic. To be honest out of the 3 family pizza joints in this area of St Johns this is MY FAVORITE ROLL! The crust almost tastes pretzel like, has a great cook and flavor, filled with cheese and surprisingly NOT greasy at all. This will bring us back over the others. Overall we will definitely be back to Bronx House!

Imagine a large Chicken Parm that two people barely finished.

We decided to come here based on the yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! The portions are enormous and the flavor is on point! Authentic New York flavor. We will be back for sure!

Great food. Good service. Everything we have ordered has been great! Would recommend for a quick weeknight bite, or a pizza party!

I had the very simple rigatoni bolognese. Pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente and the sauce was really good. It was a little on the sweet side for me, but tasted pretty fresh! They also brought us out an "on the house" mushroom appetizer that was delicious. If you like mushrooms, get it! I also sampled the lobster ravioli (on special) and enjoyed it. I am not a huge lobster anything fan, but even I thought it was pretty good! I also had a glass of the house red wine blend they have and that was one of the best house wines I've had in a long time! Super smooth. Teeniest bit sweet. No aftertaste at all. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive and very knowledgeable and just generally great. I had only sat in the bar area previously and thought it could get a little loud but I felt less so about the restaurant itself. The tables are nicely spaced from each other so you have your privacy. My only complaint (and not really a complaint a just a warning so no one is surprised if it comes up... ) is that they charge a $30 cake fee if you bring your own cake. It's just a little bit of a bummer, but I totally understand why. They were super polite about it when I called. Anyhow... food and service was great. Would go again!

Dessert was very good as well; the Italian cream cake was yummy, though the almond extract flavor was a bit strong for me. Overall, a lovely experience and I would happily return.

This was our second time at House Italian and the first thing we noticed we that they've expanded to double the size the from our last visit. We started with the Meatball Appetizer this time and liked it a lot. We like their sauce and the fact that it wasn't buried in too much cheese. We both got to pick starters with our meals as well. I went with the Lemon Chicken Soup which I had last time. I'm not a big lemon fan but it's not overpowering in this soup, it's more like a hint which is why I had it again. My wife loved the dressing on their house salad last time, so she went with that again too. You get garlic bread with your meal and yes, it tastes every bit as good as it looks in the photo I took. I picked the Seafood Over Linguini for my entree. Again, the lemon aspect of the butter sauce wasn't overpowering which is great. There was a LOT of seafood, just like the seafood risotto I had last time and the noodles were cooked perfectly. In short, I'm going to have a hard time moving away from their seafood offerings. My wife had their Chicken Francese last time and absolutely loved it. She wanted to try something else this time she so went with Chicken Scampi. It was as good as she hoped. She didn't give me specifics but she did say "oh that's the stuff" a lot from the first bite on lol. A couple of other things are worth note: first, we got there at 5:30 and even with the expansion, they were PACKED. We felt pretty fortunate to get the literal last available booth. I rarely recommend this but if you're going to go try them, I'd strongly recommend reservations for your first time. Just to make sure you don't show up at the wrong time and end up with a long wait because their word of mouth is so strong. Last but not least, shout out to Waldi, our server. He greeted us at the counter with a smile,, sat us, then became our server too. He was taking care of us, other tables, handling carry out orders and probably other stuff I didn't see. And the dude was smiling the whole time to top it off!

First and foremost, the temperature inside the restaurant is freezing. This has been the case on all four of our visits. The last time, I had a coat and two towels wrapped around me just to make it through dinner, and everyone seated nearby felt the same way. Even the hostess mentioned she was cold. It's uncomfortable enough that it's the main reason I wouldn't return. Second, as a diabetic, I really wish there were more options beyond pasta. A chicken, fish, or other protein-based entrée would be greatly appreciated. On our most recent visit, I was both cold and hungry but couldn't find anything suitable on the menu. I ended up ordering the tomato soup, which arrived lukewarm and, after being reheated, was unfortunately so salty it was inedible. My husband's lasagna came out the same way--lukewarm and overly salty--but he ate it anyway. Our friends had the pear pasta and said it was delicious, though it could have been hotter. The mozzarella appetizer was another miss. It had an unappealing presentation and looked like something prepackaged rather than freshly prepared. On the positive side, the bread, wine, and cocktails were excellent, and our server was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and quick to help. Maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen, but since it wasn't particularly busy, we expected the food to be hot and consistent. Overall, I'd love to see the restaurant adjust the air conditioning to a more comfortable level and add at least one non-pasta entrée, like a classic chicken marsala or grilled fish. Until then, we'll probably stick to recommending it for those who don't mind a cold dining room and a pasta-heavy menu.

They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. The crispy bits of Prosciutto di Parma were the best topping! My hubby and I sat at the bar. He had the clams and being a bit of a clam snob, he really enjoyed his dish! This is a busy little place but worth the wait. It's not crazy loud even though it's a small, intimate, busy restaurant. Mark and Ryan were so attentive and friendly. If you haven't been, you really should go. Sit at the bar! Make new friends!
