I'm so disappointed in my recent order from Teriyaki Madness. I ordered it from Uber Eats tonight for me and my boyfriend. I ordered the tofu teriyaki bowl and a side of vegetables. My bowl had no broccoli just cabbage and the side of vegetables was just cabbage as well. Not sure if it was an off night but it was gross just eating cabbage. I know you can upgrade to just the broccoli but usually there is more different vegetables in the side and bowl. I hate to leave a bad review based on other orders but this was bad and gross and disappointing. read more

I had been meaning to try this place for a while now, but finally got the chance today. It was a good decision. They are located on Race Track Road in the Winn Dixie shopping center. They do a heavy takeout business but they also have plenty of tables for indoor dining. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. It normally comes with rice or noodles but I asked if I could have all veggies instead and they gladly made it that way. Both the chicken and the veggies tasted great. I first had Teriyaki Madness as catering for work and was obsessed. It is the best Asian food I've had. It's like an elevated Panda. Everything I have tried, has been excellent. The fried rice and noodles are great. The regular orange chicken and the spicy orange chicken, I'm obsessed with. I typically don't eat a lot of meat, but I actually ordered for myself a spicy orange chicken bowl and it was amazing. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. We stopped in at Teriyaki Madness while they were still fairly new and probably still figuring some things out so please read this review with that in mind. I will be back to give them another chance to see if things change and update my review accordingly. I ordered the two meat (orange chicken and teriyaki chicken) there was a lot of orange chicken not so much teriyaki chicken. The orange chicken tasted very similar to a popular chains orange chicken but the teriyaki chicken was very good. The rice was good but I wish they had some good sauces other than just soy and teriyaki like maybe a hot chili oil or something. One with fried rice, 1 with noodles and another 1 with brown rice. The chicken, as expected is tender and delicious! The sauce is the secret ingredient and it's available on every table as a condiment, so yeah we definitely took advantage and poured a lot on my chicken lol! Sad to say that my noodles were dry, but the soy sauce, hot sauce and teriyaki sauce helped. The fried rice with the chicken is my favorite. Get this! Went to Teriyaki Madness on Grand Opening day on July 25, and it was sure madness. People were lined out the door. But despite the chaos, the menu ordering went smooth as if they have been opened for awhile. Grand Opening special was on the Chicken Teriyaki for $6. That's what we ordered along with a Salmon Bowl. It was about a 20 minute so despite how busy they were, food came out rather quickly. Food Impressions... So my original plan was to eat just half of my bowl and save the rest for later. Finally Teriyaki Madness has opened!!! We had been waiting so long so we made sure to go their first week opened. We came in around 6pm to pick up dinner and the place was pretty packed but we were able to walk right up and order. Since it was our first time I had to get something big so I could try a few things so I went with the 2 Protein Bowl. For my base I did the noodles, my 2 proteins being Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, and the Spicy Orange Chicken. I also comes with veggies and you can customize that too. It took about 20 minutes to get our food but like I said it was busy and at least this shows that they are making for food fresh. We got our food and went home to eat. I will say these large bowls are massive. I will say though after getting into it it's also of base and not as much on the protein side. I mean there were a bunch of noodles here. They also did mix up my Spicy Orange Chicken and Ashley Orange Chicken but nothing we couldn't move into the right bowls. The Spicy Chicken Teriyaki was good, tender and had a nice char. Now I did think the serving size was a little small and I didn't think it was all that spicy. Looks like it's going to be Mad Spicy next time. Out of the Orange Chicken and Spicy Orange Chicken I will say I liked the Spicy much better. The Orange Chicken is also very similar to a certain Chinese fast food chain that is also known for Orange Chicken but had smaller pieces. Still good though but you gotta go with Spicy Orange to change it up. Teriyaki Madness is for sure 3.5 stars for me. Our parents have recommended this quick stop for us a few times... and we were not disappointed. On entering, the location is smaller but enough tables to eat inside if you choose, but it definitely caters more towards to-go orders. I give the staff major kudos for friendliness and attentiveness. Before ordering, their system had gone down and was being rebooted. When it came back on, several to go orders and such came through putting ticket times back a bit. The staff did their best to keep up with the orders coming in, and I can appreciate that, even though we had to wait, the staff worked very hard to get our order out quickly And kept us aware Food wise? Yes, please! This has to be some of the best chicken teriyaki I've had out in a long time. And we've already come back twice. Chicken is moist and delicious, great flavor. The base choices are just enough. My husband did enjoy the noodles immensely. And next time, I'll do an all veggie base because those veggies were cooked to perfection. Crab rangoons were not amazing, but if you're just looking to scratch that craving itch, they will do. I'd still get again as they were very crunchy. I would describe Teriyaki Madness and liken it to a Chipotle. It's fast casual teriyaki. I came here with no real expectations. My husband suggested it, so I downloaded their app to view their menu online. Pro Tip: At the time I downloaded the app they were doing a promotion for first time customers of a BOGO on all bowls, as long as you purchased a drink. We both ordered a standard teriyaki bowl, except my husband decided to get a large and I opted for a regular size. We also ordered crab rangoons. So first things first, the crab rangoons were the star of the show. They looked like empanadas and they were delicious both creamy and crispy all at the same time. Onto the bowls. My husband's large looked like it was big enough for a family of 8. I'm joking, but it was huge and he was only able to get through a third of it. With the bowls you have the option of choosing your rice, type of chicken, and vegetable (whether you want all broccoli....it's an upcharge, or mixed vegetables, etc.). They were OK. The chicken was good, but not like you'd get at hibachi or your local Chinese restaurant. The rice was fine. Will we return? Probably at some point. read more

As we waited for our food after ordering at the counter, it became busier for sure. The young lady at the counter that helped us answered our questions we had and was very friendly. We waited about 10 minutes for our food. Was it worth it? Holy cow, yes!! My fried rice literally had a sliced up chicken breast on top. My daughter and I both got teriyaki steak and noodles. Both of us were not pleased. The noodles are very bland, taste like it's boiled then dumped in a bowl. The steak was sooo sweet, like it was marinated in sugar water. We were expecting like bite size steak bites but instead it's shredded and really dry. They do load you up with plenty of sauce cups on the side, however the sauce cups aren't that good either. The Steak is thin, not quite what I was looking for but it is really good. The balance between the meat, rice, and veggies was perfect. The sauce was good. Will be back to try the Chicken. I was really excited to try this place because I love Flame Broiler which is a similar concept. The first time we tried ordering from here, we started an order online, thier interface was decent and we quickly made our selections. My cell service wasn't great and we live relatively close si we decided to just head there. Unfortunately when we got there, we learned they were backed up and had about a 45-minute wait. We decided to grab dinner from somewhere else. Tonight, we walked in and learned there was no wait. Both the kitchen and counter staff was beefed up, I'll chalk that up to learning the demand curve. The counter staff were all talking to each other so we stood waiting for a little before we were approached to order but she was was friendly. Their menu is super simple which is a plus for me because I can be indecisive. It took 23 minutes to get our food, a little longer than expected. When we got home, we dug in. We ordered a spicy teriyaki with fried rice, no veg and two orange chickens one with white rice and veg and the other with fried rice and no veg. The food taste is almost on par with Panda Express. We noticed the two orange chickens had different amounts of chicken - one had what we'd think is a good portion (maybe 10 nuggets) and the other had 6 pieces but was stuffed full of rice. Given the convenience, we'll probably end up here again but we're not rushing back. Hopefully by then they take up the suggestions to tighten up their customer service and plating/ portions. read more

Scrolling through local restaurant reviews I found this new franchise fast casual asian restaurant at Race Track Road and Phillips. We immediately made plans to check it out! Arriving around 5 pm on a weeknight, we found the place already pretty busy but no long lines and a short wait (10 min) for the food to arrive at our table. The counter staff were helpful and got us oriented quickly. We ordered the spicy chicken teryaki bowl with fried rice and veggies, and the orange chicken with brown rice and veggies. The fried rice is a $1.50 upgrade, but definitely worth it. We opted for combos, where you get an egg roll and a fountain drink. The egg rolls were surprisingly good, with a meaty filling and dipping sauce. Actually, the egg rolls were better than any asian takeout restaurant we've been to in Jax. The teryaki bowls were outstanding. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The spicy chicken was mildly spicy (perfect in my opinion) and the meat had a really nice char on it. The orange chicken was batter fried and had a nice crunch. Unlike chinese restaurants, "orange" in this case does not mean spicy - it just describes the predominant flavor of the sauce. Very nice, balanced, and smooth. All together, an excellent meal delivered quickly with high quality. Worth the trip no matter where you live in the area. Nice new offering for the area We have been waiting for a while for this to open. The wait was worth it. The menu is straightforward and different from any Chinese or Japanese place I have seen. The sauces are great. The "mad" sauce is my favorite. Teriyaki plus a nice little kick at the end. We sampled it on chicken, beef and orange chicken. All excellent. The plain teriyaki is very good too. The tables have a bottle of their teriyaki sauce on the table. I like it on the rice--thicker than soy sauce so it sticks better. I didn't realize going in they cook to order. I ordered the side vegetables and was able to have them hold the broccoli. That made my day! The potstickers were very good. They came with a side sauce--duck sauce? It was a little sweet so maybe next time I will ask for one of the spicy sauces. All in all, a great first outing. read more

Just had dinner there tonight. My son and I both had the Orange Chicken bowl with fried rice, but I added the veggies. Then we both made it a combo which is an egg roll and drink. The orange chicken was sooo good and rice and veggies were cooked perfectly. The egg roll was bigger than I expected but we weren't sure what the sauce was that came with it. We have added this restaurant to our weekly rotation of takeout. When you are too lazy to cook this is a great place to pick up some hot teri chicken bowls. I really recommend getting the teriyaki madness app to get points to get rewards. We usually get crab rangoons with the chicken teriyaki bowls and the sauce is good. During peak dinner hours this place is really busy but the app is a good way to gauge how soon you need to leave the house for pickup. The owners are nice and are often there to help out customers. If you eat inside the store oftentimes it is packed around 5 to 7 but a bit later than that it is more people picking up food. Overall I think it is worth trying. read more

Tried this place recently. I looked at their menu and when I was ready to order I waited to be asked for my order. There were 4 workers at the register and they were talking so I waited for them to finish what they were discussing. The workers at the register continued talking to each other and didn't acknowledge me. I had to ask them if I can put in my order and after that they were helpful. My order was done pretty quickly like max 10mins. The place is nice and clean but it's new so that should be expected. The spicy chicken was a little dry and a little burnt but overall ok. I wish it was a little more spicy but I should probably have gotten the mad spicy instead. I liked their mixed veggies. It was not overcooked and had some crunch to it.
