    Teriyaki Chicken with white rice
    Cybel P.

This was my first visit and won't be my last. While I am not gluten free my friend is and she is a repeat customer. There aren't any other Asian restaurants in town that we know of and they do gluten free to perfection. I liked the chicken teriyaki and the serving was perfect. I do request some extra sauce a they brought it right out. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Monday night!

Very pleased with our take out order (10 roll sushi roll platter - mix & match any basic rolls). Online order process was a breeze followed by a text confirmation & notification once the order was ready. Rolls are a bit small but we didn't mind - it was a good option since we were trying them out for the first time & it fulfilled our sushi cravings. Interior seemed nice for the few minutes I was inside picking up my order. The associate was friendly & told me about the Loyalty Program. We'll be back to try out the rest of the menu items.

My family and I had heard good things about this place and decided to try them out before the end of the year. Overall the place didn't disappoint me, considering it's a small restaurant a bit hidden from the main streets of our community. The decor might use some sprucing, but not terrible. The service was great and very friendly. Although we felt the entrées took a bit long for meals to arrive, the waiter made sure to keep the sugar fried nachos on hand while waiting. Once the meals arrived, I found the presentation wasn't consistent with the theme. I also thought the portions were adequate for the price. I found my dish was perfectly made and very flavorful, although my wife found hers a bit bland. I had the hibachi chicken and steak combination with traditional Asian veggies and fried rice. She had the Tempora shrimp dinner with fried veggies and rice. My girls were happy with their Teriyaki chicken with white rice. My son didn't have a huge appetite, so he ordered a Rainbow Roll. All meals also came with soup and salad except for the roll. We ordered soft drinks without checking their drinks menu. Finally, considering all the food we had, I found the final price was pretty comparable for the area. I would recommend this place and will be coming back for sure in the future.

We were visiting friends for New Years weekend in Jacksonville. Our friends recommended One Third Asian, it was one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants I have eaten at in a longtime. Our waitress, Fenny, was wonderful. She was so helpful, and really understood all of our dietary needs. They have a large selection of gluten-free and vegan options. The food was prepared perfectly. The sushi was presented beautifully. We had tofu in basil sauce, gluten-free chicken katsu, lomein, and sushi. Great sauces and flavors. They offer Chinese, Thai , and Japanese food, all under one roof (hence the name "One Third). The service was a team approach. We had two people taking care of our table and they were both very attentive to us. The restaurant was very clean. The dining area was casual and comfortable. They have a full sushi bar that you can dine at. Jack, the business owner, came by our table to make sure that we were enjoying our experience. He was extremely friendly and personable. This will definitely be my "go-to" Asian restaurant whenever I visit Jacksonville.

Honestly the. Best GF Asian I have ever had. If you have gluten allergies they are very accommodating and the sweet and sour chicken is sooo good. Inside is spacious and has an above average ambience.

I had passed by this restaurant many times on Race Track Road but had never stopped until today. We were looking for a lunch spot with my mother in law and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we finally tried it. The restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of nice booth and table seating. Service was quick as well as pleasant from all staff working there. The menu offers appetizers, soups, salads, sushi, hibachi, and traditional Chinese dishes. I opted for kung pao chicken, and it was very good. My husband had the teriyaki beef lunch box, which came with a salad and a sushi roll. My mother in law had a hibachi steak entree. It was great, and it also came with a good bowl of wanton soup and a side salad. She loved it all. We also loved the complimentary wonton chips delivered to the table upon our arrival. They were the best I have ever had.

We started with their Steamed Pork Dumplings, which we've never had before. I was expecting them to be like a basic shumai type of thing but they were very unique, in a good way. Very flavorful and we tore right through them. I had Pad Thai with pork for my protein. Their sauce has a touch of sweetness to it but it's not overbearing in any way. They give you a good amount of meat with your noodles too, so I feel like it's priced right for what you get. Lauren had the Thai Sweet & Sour, which she's had before but last time she didn't get any spice in it. This time out, she went with their medium spicy level and thought it added a whole dimension she didn't realize was missing last time. For those wondering about their spice level, she told me that she thought I could handle it which means it's not all that spicy. So maybe use that as a guide if you stop in and have a preference for hot or not. We think this was the third time we've stopped in here and we know we've liked it each time we've been. I'm glad we were over that way so it made it easy to stop by. This review originally appeared in the Jacksonville Fun, Eats & Drinks Facebook group

We found this little gem of a Thai restaurant near our hotel. The restaurant is located in a business area. It is small, but the service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. We started with vegetable spring roll. These were crispy, full of veggies and noodles. The Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp, was flavorful and hot. We ordered the Thai sweet and sour chicken, full of veggies and pineapples. Well balance flavors of savory and sweetness. We also ordered the chicken eggplant, full of veggies in a light brown sauce. All served with jasmine rice. The only thing I would improved is the rice, it could be a little firmer for my taste. We left satisfied by a delicious meal in a small shopping center, surrounded by a Starbucks, and a Whataburger. When in Jax this little gem is a must.

We ordered a couple of appetizers to start. I had the Satay and she had the steamed Gyoza. My Satay was very good and I liked that there were big pieces of peanut in the dipping sauce. She liked her Gyoza a lot and really liked that it wasn't slippery like it can be when it's steamed. I had Beef Pad Thai for my entree and I went with spice level 1. I liked that their version isn't overly sweet like it can be elsewhere. I don't really mind when it's sweet but I also like knowing that there's somewhere I can go when I don't want that. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that spice level 1 was very easy for me to get through. My wife ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. 90% of why she ordered it was because it's served in a pineapple! She went with spice level 1 as well and said she could easily go to 2 or maybe even 3 in the future. The rice itself was good and she loved the chunks of pineapple all through it. We both had plenty to take with us which will make for a great lunch tomorrow. I'm glad we finally tried this place we've heard so many good things about. We will be back!
