    Basil fried rice

Really popping on a Friday evening. Staff was attentive. I ordered the basil fried rice with tofu which was pretty good. I got it with 2/5 spice but definitely could've done with a 3 as there was very minimal spice Ordered a drunken noodle to go and that was also quite flavorful.

We came to Green papaya on a recommendation. We got the booth we wanted. There was a dead roach under our booth. We informed the server and it was taken away immediately. I asked the waitress for a lemon drop martini. Wifey had the same old Mojito. Both entrees were full of flavor and deserving of all our praise. However, the star of the night was the spicy dragon roll. All the dishes were flavorful. I joined the Green Papaya club. Our first visit was very nice since my wife os always suggesting thai food. Conveniece amd flapral is what Green papaya had to offer. The ambience was blase but the food made up for the decor. Unil our next event...

Loved this place! Gorgeous atmosphere inside. Little robots rolling around delivering food which felt otherworldly!! Perfect date night. Our server was so friendly and kind. She offered suggestions and took excellent care of us! I tried two of their specialty sushi rolls. The "Holiday Roll" had delicious tempura shrimp, mango, avocado, cream cheese, and crunch wrapped in soy paper, topped with kani, tobiko and special sauces!! Loved how the tobiko was all different colors. Very visually appealing!! Super yummy, full of big flavors and so many delightful textures working together for the perfect bite! I also tried the "New England Roll" which was a California roll topped with lobster salad, mango, mango sauce, and tobiko. The mango sauce is utterly delicious. Big flavors and great texture with this roll as well! Both rolls were slam dunks in my opinion!! Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back again to try some more delicious rolls!!

Decided to try Green Papaya for the first time. Now this goes for all Green Papayas since I have never been to one. We walked in for lunch on a Saturday and wow this place is very nice on the inside and it very large. We sat down and saw they even have I starry night effect with shooting stars too. Oh, did I mention they have a robot?!?!! Our very friendly waitress came up and dropped off menus. They have drinks well priced at $10 each. I of course went with an Old Fashioned. They also have a lunch menu that is also well priced and it is available on Saturday too. I was feeling saucy and hadn't had Pad Thai in awhile (well good Pad Thai) so I went with that with Beef and they had sushi specials and the Oceanroll was calling my name. Our food came out quickly and looked very good. fat pieces of fish in the sushi roll and a nice serving of Pad Thai with plenty of beef. This was of sure some of the better Pad Thai I had had lately too. Can't stand the flavorless overly sweet stuff you find around now. I also did try the Fresh Mango with Chicken. This unfortunately was on the over sweet side which makes sense. It is for sure similar to Sweet and Sour Chicken. I will say for the most part we all really enjoyed our lunch. Great friendly service, beautiful inside, great food and prices. For sure try them out if your looking to mix up with some quality Thai and sushi.

The restaurant is in a nice spacious commercial center. Very well decorated and clean with a big bar. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable of their menu. The food was fresh and delicious. I order sashimi platter and miso soup. I recommend this place !

Take a look at the picture. This is what you get for $9. It's barely enough soup for one person. Definitely not worth the price. Folks, this is not LA or SF or NY. Stop pretending it is.

The food is okay. The mango sticky rice was disappointing for the size and cost. They skimp on the mango.

The takoyaki were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired so well with the warm sake -- such a great way to start the meal. For sushi, we ordered the Fire Dragon Roll, Angel Hair Roll, and Dancing Eel Roll, and they were incredible. If you love creamy, rich sushi rolls with lots of flavor, these are definitely the ones to try. The Fire Dragon Roll was perfectly balanced with salmon and sauce, the Angel Hair Roll was super creamy and indulgent, and the Dancing Eel Roll had that amazing sweet eel flavor that makes every bite so satisfying. Everything was beautifully presented, the fish tasted fresh, and the sauces were perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best sushi spots around -- we'll absolutely be back!

To be completely honest, it was the best we have had in a very long time. Our family takes Crab Rangoon seriously. Over the years we have probably ordered it in more than a thousand restaurants, and according to my mother, I have been eating it since the moment I could chew. One thing that immediately stood out at Nori was that they do not cut corners on the ingredients. The balance between the cream cheese and the crab was absolutely perfect, which is surprisingly rare. Too often restaurants overload the cream cheese and you can barely taste the crab. At Nori, the crab flavor actually shines through, which is exactly how it should be. The texture was just as impressive. Each piece was perfectly fried, light, crispy, and golden without being greasy. You could tell right away that the kitchen takes real pride in how they prepare their food. For anyone who loves Crab Rangoon the way our family does, this appetizer alone is worth the visit. The Culinary Duo officially gives it two very enthusiastic thumbs up. If you stop by Nori, make sure this is the first thing you order.

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.

Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! They have two versions, so of course I want to try both; although I'm rather skeptical about the sugar-cinnamon coating, I'm anticipating an unexpectedly delicious bite. Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill. My son & DIL evidently visit often, so I'm sure we'll return. I wish we had a Bonchon location closer to us!

I ordered a lemon drop martini. My drink was made well and was cold. When we were seated, we looked over the menu. There menu hasn't really changed too much. We opted to start with fried pickles and split a wedge salad. My sister and her husband each had a salad. My sister had the burata and her husband had the ranch. Our apps/salads came out quickly. The wedge salad was cool and crisp. I wish it had more pieces of bacon, the bacon looked a bit sparse. The fried pickles were great. I loved the light crisp batter on them and the ranch dip had a bit of a kick to it. For dinner I got the braised short ribs, my husband and brother in law both got the chimichurri steak, and my sister got the pork schnitzel. I've been looking forward to the braised short ribs all week. I was a bit disappointed that when I bit in, it appeared to be pretty bland. Normally when I get this meal it's bursting with flavor. My husband and BIL enjoyed their steaks. My sister enjoyed her schnitzel, but said the pork could have been a bit thinner. We ended the meal with their skillet cookie. Typically the cookie comes out piping hot, but on this occassion, while the skillet was hot, the cookie wasn't. We'll give them another shot, but I was a bit disappointed this time around.
