    Teriyaki Chicken with white rice
    Cybel P.

This was my first visit and won't be my last. While I am not gluten free my friend is and she is a repeat customer. There aren't any other Asian restaurants in town that we know of and they do gluten free to perfection. I liked the chicken teriyaki and the serving was perfect. I do request some extra sauce a they brought it right out. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Monday night!

My family and I had heard good things about this place and decided to try them out before the end of the year. Overall the place didn't disappoint me, considering it's a small restaurant a bit hidden from the main streets of our community. The decor might use some sprucing, but not terrible. The service was great and very friendly. Although we felt the entrées took a bit long for meals to arrive, the waiter made sure to keep the sugar fried nachos on hand while waiting. Once the meals arrived, I found the presentation wasn't consistent with the theme. I also thought the portions were adequate for the price. I found my dish was perfectly made and very flavorful, although my wife found hers a bit bland. I had the hibachi chicken and steak combination with traditional Asian veggies and fried rice. She had the Tempora shrimp dinner with fried veggies and rice. My girls were happy with their Teriyaki chicken with white rice. My son didn't have a huge appetite, so he ordered a Rainbow Roll. All meals also came with soup and salad except for the roll. We ordered soft drinks without checking their drinks menu. Finally, considering all the food we had, I found the final price was pretty comparable for the area. I would recommend this place and will be coming back for sure in the future.

Very pleased with our take out order (10 roll sushi roll platter - mix & match any basic rolls). Online order process was a breeze followed by a text confirmation & notification once the order was ready. Rolls are a bit small but we didn't mind - it was a good option since we were trying them out for the first time & it fulfilled our sushi cravings. Interior seemed nice for the few minutes I was inside picking up my order. The associate was friendly & told me about the Loyalty Program. We'll be back to try out the rest of the menu items.

We were visiting friends for New Years weekend in Jacksonville. Our friends recommended One Third Asian, it was one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants I have eaten at in a longtime. Our waitress, Fenny, was wonderful. She was so helpful, and really understood all of our dietary needs. They have a large selection of gluten-free and vegan options. The food was prepared perfectly. The sushi was presented beautifully. We had tofu in basil sauce, gluten-free chicken katsu, lomein, and sushi. Great sauces and flavors. They offer Chinese, Thai , and Japanese food, all under one roof (hence the name "One Third). The service was a team approach. We had two people taking care of our table and they were both very attentive to us. The restaurant was very clean. The dining area was casual and comfortable. They have a full sushi bar that you can dine at. Jack, the business owner, came by our table to make sure that we were enjoying our experience. He was extremely friendly and personable. This will definitely be my "go-to" Asian restaurant whenever I visit Jacksonville.

Honestly the. Best GF Asian I have ever had. If you have gluten allergies they are very accommodating and the sweet and sour chicken is sooo good. Inside is spacious and has an above average ambience.

I had passed by this restaurant many times on Race Track Road but had never stopped until today. We were looking for a lunch spot with my mother in law and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we finally tried it. The restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of nice booth and table seating. Service was quick as well as pleasant from all staff working there. The menu offers appetizers, soups, salads, sushi, hibachi, and traditional Chinese dishes. I opted for kung pao chicken, and it was very good. My husband had the teriyaki beef lunch box, which came with a salad and a sushi roll. My mother in law had a hibachi steak entree. It was great, and it also came with a good bowl of wanton soup and a side salad. She loved it all. We also loved the complimentary wonton chips delivered to the table upon our arrival. They were the best I have ever had.

This place really shines in service and gluten free. So many things can be made gluten free very easily and that's a dream for me! The staff is very attentive without hovering. There's a feeling that they really care and want you to be happy and satisfied. I sat with a friend in a back booth near the sushi bar and lingered over a weekend lunch. Very nice experience.

If you love creamy, rich sushi rolls with lots of flavor, these are definitely the ones to try. The Fire Dragon Roll was perfectly balanced with salmon and sauce, the Angel Hair Roll was super creamy and indulgent, and the Dancing Eel Roll had that amazing sweet eel flavor that makes every bite so satisfying. You can't go to any Thai Restaurant and Not enjoy a Thai Tea which was made for me fresh by Chalis, she also informed me that "Mali" means Jasmine, which I thought was beautiful for the restaurant name. The Thai Fries had a Light somewhat sweet batter with a sweet dipping sauce (spicy available) I couldn't stop munching on them Both Wings had their own level of Spice, but the crunch & Heat on Laab Peek Gai was fan-freaking-tastic!! The sign from the street just shows "Thai food" but when you walk in you feel a small romantic connection. (Hint a great tasty casual date night spot) the setting just feels soft and romantic, yet simple and vintage like. The customer service was sweet, soft, and personal and made it feel like a true family restaurant. Before ordering the aroma was delicious and I knew I could order anything because it smelt that good. I ordered the green chicken curry and it came with jasmine rice and the rice came out fluffy , perfect but the star was the flavors in this curry! I think the peas were the biggest surprise as I don't usually enjoy peas, but the curry absorbed perfectly into every part of this dish! I will say, I got a level 4 heat, and as it was delicious so I ate every single last bite, (even drinking the last dribble of broth) it was warm if you are sensitive to heat I'd say go a level less than you think! All around the experience at Mali was excellent and I would recommend it to any fan of Thai food or even Indian (as my best friend got a Indian inspired dish that was delicious as well with a full star anise in it) The price is about average to your Thai restaurant but the flavor is definitely above average. Highly recommend

We ordered the Thai sweet and sour chicken, full of veggies and pineapples. Well balance flavors of savory and sweetness. We also ordered the chicken eggplant, full of veggies in a light brown sauce. All served with jasmine rice. The only thing I would improved is the rice, it could be a little firmer for my taste. The dining room is small, more intimate, and clean as can be, but for me, having a happy waitress who seemed excited for us to be there, made a huge difference in our dining experience. But you really want to hear about the food: Sweet chili sauce - homemade, delightful. Spring rolls - tightly wrapped, very tasty. Pad Thai - AMAZING, served with peanut sauce and completely delicious. Massaman Curry - served with chicken, really well done dish. Was there a complaint, well for lunch it was a bit pricey. I prefer lunch specials, but I cannot argue the food was very good.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that spice level 1 was very easy for me to get through.
