    Green curry

This had been on my list for awhile, so I was excited to try it out. Placed a to-go order and it was ready very quickly! The server explained all things are made to order which is great & customizable! I ordered the green curry because I love zucchini in curry and it was SOOO good! I've never had green curry before and I LOVED it! Crab Rangoon's were perfection and the tom kha soup was great too. (Although nothing wrong with it, not my favorite tom kha - maybe I should had made it spicier) I can't wait to come back to try the shrimp fried rice and the sweet and sour stir fry - both caught my eye on the menu!

Great Thai spot within a shopping plaza off Baymeadows Rd. Tons of parking. Restaurant was empty when we arrived and left which I'm surprised about because it was great. Large portion size, great flavor. Food came out fast. Casual vibes. Good for small or large groups

Still fantastic. Same great veggie rolls, edamame and pad Thai! Asked for them to cook the shrimp a bit less and it was perfect. With a side of chili paste, the Mild was perfect.

The green papaya salad is amazing! And red curry is my favorite - great family business in Baymeadows.

After living/working a number of years in Thailand. I am always interested trying a good Thai restaurant. Noom Thai bistro is just that it's a good Thai restaurant with fresh food and very good service. The flavors were very authentic and rich, but I did find that on my next trip there I would like to have the heat level greater than five as it did lack in the typical Thai kick. The menu is very extensive and there were a number of dishes that I would be interested in trying there price points or only just a bit more than what I've seen in other Thai restaurants but yet good value.

Quality Thai food in a simple but inviting setting. Very nice owners as well--you can tell they care about their food and their customers. That said, nothing overwhelmingly awesome or surprising: the menu is very standard to American Thai restaurants which I can't fault them for--you're going to sell what sells, after all--but I do wish in general Thai restaurants would explore the vast landscape of Thai cuisine more than most do, you know? Next time I go I may ask the chef if she can prepare something she'd cook at home if they're not busy and it's not too much trouble, because she's clearly a solid cook and yet most of the stuff on their menu you could get at any Thai place. However, though tried and true standards, they do them well and food comes up promptly, at that. There's a richness to their food which makes it stand out and indicates the concern and confidence of the cook for what's coming out to customers at the table.

    Ginger stir fry with shrimp

We have been going to Noom almost since the day it opened. It is the ONLY Thai restaurant I will go to now. The food is tasty and authentic, the staff and owners friendly, the prices good and the portions generous. Every one we have ever taken there raves about how good it was, even our very "foodie" friends. If you are a "spicy" food lover you can order all the way up to "Thai Adult Hot" (I've never gone beyond "Thai Children Hot") and even though it is SPICY you still get all the flavors. Fresh and tasty EVERY time, can't say enough good about it.

Even gave us extra candy. Excellent Service.

    Beef ginger and beef basil

Loved this place! Very authentic and great taste. Service was amazing too. We got the beef ginger and basil entrees, the lunch portions and price were great. You can tell they use high quality ingredients in their recipes. The entrees were not too sweet, very brothy, and savory, which a lot of Thai restaurants can't seem to get right. Highly recommend!

Loved this little gem. Healthy fresh food. Great ingredients, no msg, awesome staff. Setting was casual, clean, elegant. My husband and I both had the basil stir fry. Perfect!

He mentioned wait times for tables, so I chose a Tuesday evening to try to avoid the crowds and it worked as I was immediately sat upon arriving. There are QR Menus on the table and my server directed me to view there. I spotted the Tokyo and was intrigued by the Ajitama Brûlée (signature torched seasoned soft boiled egg). What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. This is my 1900th review on Yelp, and I couldn't pick a better place to review and RAVE about my experience. If you are in Jacksonville, RUN don't walk to this location for a stunning experience as it's a gorgeous location that is very cozy. Though I didn't wait, I definitely would to have a Tokyo Ramen again!

During our visit, a manager engaged in repeated personal interactions with my guest that felt outside the bounds of typical professional service. While I understand that friendliness is part of hospitality, the frequency and tone of these interactions became uncomfortable and detracted from the overall experience. After the visit, I brought this to the attention of the business directly in the hope that it would be acknowledged and addressed. Unfortunately, I did not receive a meaningful response or any indication that the concern was taken seriously. I'm sharing this here so others have a complete picture when deciding where to go, and so the business has another opportunity to reflect on how customer interactions are handled. With more attentive management and clearer boundaries for staff, this could be a much stronger experience.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.

They have many options to choose from in terms of different meats, greens, sushi, desserts, noodles, and more. How it works is you choose the soup of choice to cook the things on and then you go up and fill your place with what you want to cook. You can add things to the soup or on the hot pot to cook. They also have sushi and dumplings already made to eat. I've tried the traditional soup and the tom yum I believe it's called. I like the tom yum better because it has more flavor. You are cooking your own stuff so make sure it's done lol! Both servers both times were nice and attentive in changing out the stove you cook on and taking your dirty plates. Cool experience for sure!

We decided upon this place based on reviews, including from all our oldest grandchild, who said that he had been taken here and everyone enjoyed it. we knew it had previously been a Japanese/Asian grill for many years, but now it is a Korean style barbecue and hot pot.m, so we stopped in. first be aware that this is not a cheap meal, it was $37 per adult. that said, you get access to a variety of proteins and options. I will also say that my experience was quite a bit different than that of my wife. to start, you get one type of flavored broth for your hot pot in which to cook proteins or vegetables. The table also comes with a built-in grill if you choose to Cook that way. My wife selected the mushroom broth base and I chose the pork broth base. I must say, my wife added her own spices/sauces and enjoyed her broth so much that she shared with me and it greatly enhanced my experience. We enjoyed it so much so that we took the remainder home - there was a by weight up charge for taking this or anything else home. initially I felt that was a little expensive ($5) for taking home What amounted to 2 cups of broth, but we made Ramen out of the next day and it was the best Ramen I've had in a long time, so kudos to my wife for having seasoned it so well. my pork broth was not very flavorful, but I was being lazy and did not add any sauces to it, so I was disappointed, but frankly that is probably on me. In the middle of the restaurant is a very clean and well stocked protein buffet that has all types of seafood, pork, chicken, and beef offerings. I selected many of these, and went directly to the grill instead of cooking some of them in the hot pot. i ended up over cooking several of them before adding them into my hot pot, and they weren't good, but once again my disappointment is in part due to my impatience or inattentiveness. my wife enjoyed her selections very much because she didn't overcook her proteins. my favorite thing was the beef Bulgogi and Korean short ribs, which I grilled (or my wife did) and these were delicious, marinated in an excellent sauce and I frankly could've and should've probably just eaten several plates of this. they had a sushi/dessert bar with typical fare; my wife did not partake in any of this. I tried several of the sushi rolls and they were OK -- frankly this is probably not what you would gravitate to if you're going to a hot pot/Korean barbecue restaurant. their desert offerings were fine: I enjoyed the tiramisu and the Asian style donuts, which were very doughy, but I love them. My wife thought they were just meh. they were alcoholic options, but we were already going to be at $90 with tip and take home broth so we just had waters. I apologize for forgetting the servers name, but his service was excellent, due to attentiveness, explanation of the options, and making sure our drinks were consistently refilled. The ambience was nice, modern, clean. so my take away is that this would be closer to a 3.5 star review versus a four, as this was expensive and everything that I tried other than the grilled Bulgogi and what my wife shared that she had added to her broth) was just OK. However, my wife enjoyed the meal so much, that alone is worth it. Also, I should attribute some of the "disappointment" to my own laziness or overcooking of the proteins on the grill. I would go back for another special occasion, but at the price point, it would not be a weekly choice.
