    Steak habachi
    Adison

I've ordered from here through doordash and the food was delicious but I guess lunch is a different story. The service is great but the habachi was doused with sauce which made it soupy. There was limited meat... 4 pieces of steak over cooked.

Wild ginger is a great neighborhood restaurant. The service is always extremely friendly and welcoming, you feel so comfortable dining in. They take a lot of pride in theming and playing their dishes with decor, like sushi platters. The ambiance is lacking but not really a negative. They typically do complimentary tea and a small bite. The sushi dining in (I do not order take out here because it is close by) is always fresh and flavorful. I like that it is a fusion, their hibachi is also good with large portions!

Service was great so well as the sushi. Quick stop over in JAX beach and well worth a try.

Came here for lunch and they have great lunch specials! You can get sushi rolls or hibachi and I opted for the steak hibachi, which was yummy and plentiful. My boyfriend got sushi rolls and loved them. They each came with salad and miso soup. They also brought out this free roll too. Great service, food, and prices!

I attended an event nearby and stopped in with friends for dinner. We were seated right away. Our server quickly brought everyone water, a complimentary small bowl of clear soup and a holiday roll (fried sushi). First of all I was highly impressed to receive anything complimentary in this day and age. And both items were tasty and helps kill my hunger pains. My friends ordered several appetizers. My two favorites were the taki ebi, grilled shrimp with teriyaki glaze, and the krab rangoon. The sauces were bursting with flavor too. For dinner, I had the tonkotsu ramen made with pork and chicken broth, and included pork chashu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots (which I ommitted), green onion, fish cake, boiled egg and sesame seed. The ramen was hot and delicious. It hit a spot on a cold night. And bonus, I can only eat half so I had leftovers the next day. I'm looking forward to stopping by again and trying some other menu items. And service was fast and friendly.

amazing restaurant 5 stars recommend to all. not a fan of sea food and loved the shrimp. free soup yummy soup to start. service amazing, never had to ask for water they always were super hard working and refilled our cups and never let our water cups get empty. the food decor and how everything was presented was very beautiful. the room had nice lighting too and the people and workers are so friendly.

    Mango Tango Roll

Didn't have my side kicks (husband and daughter) with me on this visit or there would have been many more rolls eaten. Service was fantastic and food came out quick! As previous reviews, they bring you soup and a small imitation crab appetizer. I ordered the Mango tango roll. 10 pieces This was delicious with no spicy!

I stopped in to Wild Ginger recently with a few Yelp friends and really enjoyed it! The inside is small but pretty sleek and quite clean. Our server, Deanna, was friendly and funny! She stopped by quickly with complimentary clear soups AND a holiday roll. Both were great; the clear soup stuck out for having a flavorful broth. We grabbed a few appetizers: the agedashi tofu, yaki ebi, krab rangoon, and edamame. The edamame was standard (in a good way!), and the krab Rangoon was in the triangular shape and on the sweeter side -- I personally like that but know opinions can vary. The yaki ebi shrimp were cooked well, and the sauce they use is delicious. But it was the agedashi tofu that was the biggest highlight of the meal for me; the batter was delicious and crisp. For entrees, I went with a shrimp udon. It was tasty and simple with lots of bok choi, but I think I'd try something else next time just because of the breadth of interesting things on the menu. (One of my dining partners got a bowl of ramen that looked absolutely amazing.) Deanna also brought out complimentary fried Oreos for dessert, topped white whipped cream and sprinkles. It was cute and an unexpected pleasant surprise. I've spent enough time in the Midwest to have encountered fried Oreos before, and they do a solid job of them here. I'll be back!

First we will talk about our incredible server Morgan. She came to the table with a holiday roll, on the house with clear soup. She had so much energy, loves the food here and was very helpful with questions. The menu here is extensive but you can get almost any Asian food you desire. We started with a fire tuna roll. The slab or tuna was an inch thick. We like spicy and this hit the spot no Wasabi needed. I am mostly going to skip the salad except to say it was like any other Asian salad with ginger dressing. I had the yellow curry with beef. The best curry I have ever had. It was not soup consistency but meat and veggies served with sauce more like gravy than soup stock. The beef is not overcooked and the veggies were fresh. I sure wish I lived closer to this place. It was so good.

This place had a grand opening sign on front. We came in and were seated right away. Our waitress - Morgan - was so friendly! She brought us a holiday Roll and soup as soon as we were seated. She stayed on top of drinks and checked in with us regularly. She was fast to check in and made sure anything I ordered was free of bell peppers. The holiday roll was great! A sweet treat of crab, cream cheese, and sauces. We got the Fire Tuna Roll to share. Man it was great!! The Tuna and avocado was so big and the sauce flavorful! I ordered the Hawaiian roll. Again it was great on its own, I did add Wasabi and the sweet and spice was fantastic!! We also got fried oreo's for dessert. They were great!! Highly recommend!!

Joined some friends for dinner on a very cold Monday night. As soon as we were seated, we got complimentary clear soup and tempura crab stick appetizer to welcome us! Perfect to warm us up! Yummmm. We started with some appetizers - krab rangoon (little bit of sweetness), yaki ebi (very flavorful), agedasi tofu, and edamame. Everything was delicious. As for the entree, I went with the steak and shrimp hibachi (of course, I always do). It was very flavorful! The meat and shrimp was almost overcooked (I just prefer medium steak rather than well done), but still good. It was a hearty serving. And the fried rice was delicious, I took the rest home. Yay! Haha. My friends enjoyed their dishes as well. I don't remember exactly what they got, but I think it was - shrimp udon, tonkatsu ramen (no bamboo), and a poke bowl. Everything was presented beautifully! I don't think I got a picture of everything, we were too hungry. But it was pretty! Oh and to top it all off, they also brought out fried oreos for each of us AND fortune cookies! Whaaaaat! Great service - fast, friendly, and helpful with suggestions. Thank yooooooou! I'm glad we made the stop in! Thanks for the research and suggestion, MD! Hehe Good call! Until the next time ... SYOY!

I was a little incredulous that a former Sailor could run an Asian restaurant with such awesome ramen! Well, now I believe everything I heard. As a former sailor, upon entry I immediately fell in love with the Navy decor, pictures, and even the tables in the dining area had the seals of ships and other commands past and present on the table top art that gave a tremendous nostalgic feel to an old sea warrior like me! OK, I was a Chaps - I gave spiritual support to those warriors. Nevertheless, the ramen bowls here are a work of artistic beauty! I felt like I needed to stare at my meal for an hour before daring to touch it! On this day, we had the Bayou Ramen and the Traditional Ramen. The Bayou Ramen has a real Cajun spicing to it - unmistakable in every way. It has some heat to it, but not heavy - I'd say it was just about right for my taste. The shrimp and sausage in it were perfectly prepped - I could have taken some home but didn't - just couldn't stop eating this! It also included carrots, corn, a seasoned egg, scallions, ramen noodles in chicken bayou broth. If you like ramen of a Cajun variety, you'll love this! The traditional ramen bowl was pretty basic. You could have a choice of broth, but the basic version has little to no heat factor. It comes with roast pork, bok choy, carrots, corn, seasoned eggs, scallions, ramen noodles. I had the leftovers of this ramen bowl the next day and it was outstanding too! In addition, when you come here, you MUST get the fried chicken! It's among the best I've ever tasted. It's definitely bested KFC in my book! Anyone who wants to try a solid ramen restaurant which classic offerings and some creative versions of ramen, must visit Hangar Bay! I will add that the service we received as terrific! For a little while, I felt like I was eating on the mess deck again! I'll surely be back! Recommend: VERY HIGH!

The vibe is fantastic and the staff matches it perfectly, friendly, warm, and attentive. We went twice in the late afternoon and never waited for a table, which is a huge bonus for a spot this good. The small plates alone are worth the visit. The Katsu Sando Sliders feature crispy chicken katsu on soft potato bread with fresh cabbage, katsu sauce, Japanese mayo, red onion, and sweet pickle peppers, every element working in perfect harmony. The Potato Korokke was equally incredible, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with katsu fried potato and vegetables paired with katsu sauce and Japanese mayo. The Gyoza were perfectly crispy Japanese fried chicken dumplings, and the Harumaki was a great addition too. Everything fried here is done with real skill, the crunch is always there and never overdone. If you love spice, the KakuKara Ramen is an absolute must. A rich, creamy sesame broth made from chicken and pork stock with Japanese hot sauce and red miso, it is spicy, deeply flavorful, and completely addictive. Loaded with pork belly kakuni, homemade pickled peppers, cabbage, cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds on those perfect curly noodles, it is everything you hope ramen will be. If you prefer something milder, the Katsu Shio Ramen is a beautiful classic, a delicate Japanese sea salt and dashi seasoned chicken broth with shiitake mushrooms, katsu chicken, red and green onions, and the most wonderful onsen tamago custard egg that takes the whole bowl to another level!
