Parmesan wings nothing but oil and flappy
    Sheila G.

this is my first time trying this restaurant moved to the area. Chicken is not fried so the skin is flabby, i got the Parmesan garlic, but it is basically naked wings because all the Parmesan is sitting at the bottom of the container. The spicy ranch taste like nothing. The only thing that had salt and it was the french fries. Philly cheese was dry. They added no sauce.. The pizza was oily. I will not be back.

B.Y.O Pizza: Pepperoni cups, Basil, Hot Honey and Ricotta
    Morgan N.

I ordered a B.Y.O (Build your own) Pizza. I was attempting to replicate a pizza from another restaurant (it had Pepperoni, Hot Honey, Ricotta, and Basil) The pizza was average a bit too greasy for me to fully enjoy. Ricotta cheese wasn't as prevalent in overall flavor, but the honey did pair perfectly with the pepperoni cups.

Took a picture to prove that they received the order through Uber Eats.

Refused to make my order AFTER I paid. Refused to give refund. I did NOT get my food and lost my money, see proof below. . Lady working was incredibly rude and yelling at the kitchen. Literally told us to " GO F YOURSELF". She preceded to freak out and yell at me and then kick me out ordering me to leave without food or a refund. This lady should not be working in any customer service job. I was extremely kind and said if they can't make the food or give a refund, then I can just contact them tomorrow and find someone who can help; not a big deal. However, she handled it terribly and screamed at me instead. I think she must have been on something because she completely freaked out. This is the worst customer service I've ever seen. Will be contacting the owners as soon as possible.

So far we've had the pizza (if you like legit NY style pizza, this is it!), the calzones, and jalapeño poppers. Everything is delicious! The service is always great and quick. Pro points for delivering on base! We love to come here for the food and chill/laid back vibes. Definitely one of my favorite places in Jax.

I have lived down the street for 3 years and never stopped in. Why I have no idea. Pepperoni Pizza was delicious. Service was great and beers at the picnic table while waiting perfect! I will be back!

This place was disappointing from beginning to end. Poor service, high prices, gross pizza, loud music. If you're looking for a rave at 4pm this your place.... The pepperoni pizza we got had undercooked cheese, no flavor in the sauce and a doughy yet burnt crust. Music was blaring techno and the man at the counter was rude, unaccommodating and just plain rude rolling his eyes multiple times. There is one single bathroom for everyone in the restaurant if you like to squat in men's pee this restaurant if for you. ( but remember gender neutral is 2023 apparently painted nails are too) Followed by a broken paper towel dispenser, broken soap dispenser and feces in the toilet, and just dirty in general just keep driving I'll do you a favor papa John's is only a short distance away. Did not ask us on the phone when we ordered, and were given attitude when we asked to sit down to eat it there "it's already in a box" We were In the area from out of town -camping- craving pizza, and looked up the best reviewed places. We would have rather gone to domino's across the street, at least you know what you're getting. You're getting a crappy edible pizza . Neither of us could finish 2 pieces of Tony's Perpperoni. Surprised this place is still in business, perhaps the music gets everyone in a trace and the pizza is out of this 1 star for the pepperoncinis because zero wasn't an option. They made my pizza a little bit soggier. But I cannot blame them, because it was unsalvageable anyways. Will feed the rest to wild raccoons because none of my friend will eat it.

I search for food in my area, its located at near Publix . I thought perfect I am already here. It looked great I tried the 3 types of pepperoni pizza. It was just how do I say it, small! Ok so I am thinking good things come in small packages. I was wrong it was just Meh! They should remove the 2 thin types of pepperoni, and just use the thick one it was flavorful. Crust average but the cook was perfect for the pie. It's OK, it's not great.

Another absolutely horrible delivery service from this place. Second time I've given them a chance in two months. A simple Buffalo calzone was ordered both times. First time they never sent it with the rest of the order and wouldn't send out the correct order. Tonight they sent a frigging pepperoni calzone that we waited over an hour for. Don't waste your time or money with this place.

Loaded cheese fries with jalapeños, bacon on the side and sauce.

We have not reviewed this spot in awhile but it is at the top of our delivery pizza places. OK, so I admit, it's because we can get loaded cheese fries and pizza. Hello? How sinful and delicious is that combo? We normally order cheese fries, bacon on the side, and a half cheese/ half pepperoni pizza. I don't eat meat but hubby does. It's delicious and more than enough. Tonight we added the Cajun ranch wings for him and he said they were really good and he knows good wings. Pizzas, fries. Sandwiches, salads, etc. It's all good food! We do delivery and it's usually 30-45 minutes through Door Dash. Check them out!

Well, I have to say that this restaurant can compete with the best in NYC, New Haven, and Providence or Boston! First and foremost, the service was top notch. The attentiveness and efficiency of our waiter was the best, but to top it off, 2 of the owners each came to the table to check on things. This is something that stands out today. I love it. The atmosphere was comfortable yet refined and the place is very clean. The dim lighting is a point that my wife appreciates in a restaurant setting, but our seats were probably the least lit, (our backs to the front window) and our old eyes needed our phone lights to read the menu, haha. The Arancini was perfect and we loved the marinara. My veal dish was magnificent with it's perfectly cooked, large and very tender cutlet. My wife fully enjoyed the Pappardelle con Vongole nero and I thought it was phenomenal. We can't wait to visit the best Italian restaurant in JAX again, when we return in October.

I used to absolutely love this place. It was our go-to for seafood, celebrations, family dinners,…read moreand special occasions for years. We recommended it constantly and genuinely enjoyed supporting them. Unfortunately, after our last few experiences, that loyalty is completely gone. The problems really started during a dinner visit with my spouse. We had a reservation for two and specifically requested a booth because my spouse has herniated discs and booths are much easier on her back. The hostess with glasses told us there were "no booths available for parties of two," so we were seated at a tiny two-top directly in front of an empty booth. Minutes later, another couple - who apparently didn't even have the correct downstairs reservation because Wheel House was closed for a private event - was seated in that exact booth instead. When I politely questioned it, I was told they were "accommodating them." Interesting, because apparently accommodating a medical issue for customers with a reservation didn't matter. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another chance for Mother's Day. To their credit, we were seated at a booth this time after I both noted it in the reservation and called ahead to confirm it. Our waiter was someone we immediately recognized from a previous visit, and my parents mentioned he had waited on us before at that same table. Somehow, from that comment alone, he became convinced we were related to Chef Tim Tillus. From there, things got bizarre. He kept talking about "Timmy," mentioning reunions and saying he used to live with him. The restaurant was extremely loud, and my father had forgotten his hearing aids that day, so honestly we could barely understand what he was talking about. We just smiled politely and focused on asking about the menu because we truly had no clue where the conversation was going. Eventually, he came back and realized we were NOT Chef Tim Tillus' family. He then explained that the kitchen staff had apparently been laughing because the chef saw us and said, "That's not my family." So somehow this became a whole ordeal in the kitchen over a completely innocent misunderstanding. We laughed awkwardly because what else do you do at that point? But honestly, the whole interaction felt strange and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the food was even worse than the awkward service. My spouse ordered the all-day seafood soup, and somehow there was basically ZERO seafood in it. That alone was shocking because their soups used to be incredible. My father ordered the broiled platter, and the portion size was honestly embarrassing for a $29 dish. His parsley potatoes consisted of literally five tiny cubes - my mother counted them because we were in disbelief. We have eaten here for years and NEVER saw portions this small. I ordered the fish special, and it was nothing like described. It was supposed to have pecans and blackening seasoning. There were no pecans, no blackening seasoning, and the fish itself was dry, bland, overcooked, and flavorless. For $32, I was served what looked like a tiny sad pile of fish in the middle of a giant empty plate. The pork chop looked beautiful but tasted absolutely awful. At this point I honestly don't know if the kitchen quality has completely collapsed or if nobody is checking food before it leaves the line anymore. Either way, it was terrible. My mother ordered scallops on the half shell as her meal - something she has enjoyed there many times before. This time, the scallops were tiny and somehow greasy. It was shocking these dishes were even leaving the kitchen. What makes this so disappointing is that we truly loved this restaurant. We weren't casual customers. We supported this place for years because we believed the food and experience were worth it. This wasn't just a mediocre meal or an "off night." This was a genuinely terrible dining experience from start to finish, made worse by the fact that it happened on Mother's Day. The service felt awkward and disorganized, the portions were insulting, the food quality was awful, and there seemed to be zero quality control happening anywhere. At this point, our money will be supporting other establishments instead. It's honestly sad because this place USED to be special. I sincerely hope management fixes the kitchen, consistency, and overall professionalism before even more longtime customers walk away.
