The journey of wine pairing and dishes was an adventure well traveled! It was a full house in the restaurant with a warm buzz of conversation throughout the restaurant. The staff were so very kind and warm. The journey began with a Pinot Noir paired with the chicken pesto flatbread. Course 2 was the Caesar salad paired with a Sauvignon blanc. Course 3, my favorite, was the shrimp topped ravioli paired with a Chianti. Course 4 was modified for me since I don't eat pork. As such, it was a lemon butter chicken cutlet with spaghetti marinara paired with a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The final course culminated in a cannoli paired with a bright Rosé. Such good pizza and even greater service. Have only tried the NY style pizza and the sausage parmigiana sub. Both were great - we are now regulars. My only complaint is that the way they cut the sausage (flaked thin) for the pizza means there is not as much sausage flavor. Pepperoni was wonderful! Excellent food always but the staff not always happy and smiling! I'm not sure if there's something going on that makes them act like they don't want to be there or the customers. First I want to say I love the food here. It is so much more than pizza. They have had 2 wine and dine experiences that rocked. So Friday they had a special that include the veal on mashed potatoes with a heavenly sauce. May be one of the best things I've ever eaten. The people are great as well. read more

We love KT's. We are big on the Calzones and Stromboli's, but also enjoy the eggplant Ziti. Great staff. Delivery is offered hit or miss, and usually much faster than the automatic response email. Pickup is worth it, and the restaurant feels very much like an Italian restaurant with the low lightening and warm tones. I wish I could get a desert but the price doesn't match the flavor for me. read more

Solid NY style pizza place! A friend recommended KT's since it's super close to our new home. They have quickly become our go-to local pizza place. We've had their pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza and Hawaiian pizza. All were fantastic! The crust has that perfect chew and taste associated with classic NY pizza. Their sauce is a little tangy and a little sweet. It's very clear they use quality ingredients, their pizza is never overly greasy and always tastes super fresh! I think KT's has some of the best pizza I've had in Jacksonville. And I'm glad they are right down the street! read more

My son and I have been searching this side of town for a fantastic pizza spot and this one was highly recommended. While there were some bright spots, I hate to say I am still looking. I went through the YELP menus that were posted and my son and I ordered from the menu before taking the short drive to pick up our spoils. I have to say something did not click while until we were on our way.....did she say two pizza's and a large salad were $50? No problem, we can resolve that when we get there because adding up the prices in the menus posted, that cannot be correct. Enough yammering, what about the food: Ceasars Salad - Fresh, light and delicious. Dressing on the side, maybe a tad too much cheese, but really good flavor. Thin crust pizza - not amazing, but good and it was the best thin crust we had had lately. Thick crust - awful, not edible. My son, who eats everything just said "Dad, that is not good". The restaurant looked very clean and service was efficient, plus there is plenty of parking. Okay, about the bill. The menus posted on Yelp are out of date, they have entirely new menus and what I added in my head as $25, turned out to be correct - on the old menu. The new menu was 2X that, so our meal was $50. With prices escalating daily, I do not fault them but I thought that was a little much for 1/2 thick crust, one medium and one large salad. read more

Great food, tasteful decor. Small and quiet, but great for families or a group of 12 or so. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. My coworker raved about how they know the owner and their food was pretty good. I figured word of mouth was the best advertisement so I decided to try them out for lunch. Order: build your own pizza (veggie pizza with pineapple, broccoli, mushroom, green peppers, tomatoes and onions, calamari. I don't know what happened with my pizza but they basically warmed up a cheese pizza and added raw veggies on top. Let me say that again. RAW veggies! They didn't have the decency to cook the veggies. Who eats raw veggies on a pizza?? It definitely wasn't made to order like the server described over the phone. Seemed like they were super lazy to make a new pizza and just threw together something that was leftover. Super disappointed and won't be ordering from there again. Smh. read more

Garlic bread dry, chicken was dry and the sauce they put on chicken and spaghetti tasted like they dumped directly from can with no added flavor other than= tomatoes. Wanted to substitute the "house' salad which was lettuce, onion and tomato for the greek and wanted to charge me $5.00 to substitute, even though there is only $1.00 difference the menu to order them separately. I will start off this review by saying the service has always been good here. They are always friendly and never give you the stink eye or lift the leg. Now, I think one of their downfalls is the overall price of the food. It's insanely expensive for what it is. Usually always get two pizzas; one medium and one small, a calzone and some how it always ends up being near 60 bucks... seems like highway robbery to me. It's bizarre how expensive just 3 items can be. They need to fix their prices if they want any type of competition in the area. One problem I have with the food is the false advertising of certain ingredients. On the menu it says "fresh garlic" but it's literally minced garlic that you get in those jars. When you think of fresh you'd expect it to be full cloves, not that minced vinegary tasting crap. If you're going to advertise fresh, use fresh it's not that hard. The mozzarella and breaded ravioli are always a hit or miss. Sometimes it almost like you're eating frozen ones you'd find at the store. The mozzarella sticks are never stringy which is disappointing. Same with the calzone; it's a hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get one decently stuffed other times it'll look like a deflated balloon with bits and pieces. Idk, for the price you could go out to eat at a decent restaurant and get better food. This place is alright it you don't want to go far but beware it can be expensive. I'd say If you want pizza, I'd rather get it from Blaze. They at least use fresh ingredients for everything and the pizza and sauce alone is tasty. I mean you get full cloves of roasted garlic and lots of it, it's so good. At least you're paying for quality ingredients there. read more

I went to KTS recently. It is a really cute mom and pop shop. I really loved the food. The pizza was thin and crispy and everything else was fresh. The waitress was nice and came up to us frequently asking if we needed anything. Overall, a great neighborhood staple. read more

A bit rough of a start with this one. It seemed like every time we rang in the past, there was either no delivery driver or they'd be in later in the evening. We prefer to give our money directly to the restaurant rather than use food delivery companies, which can be a nightmare. So we didn't attempt to order from here for a long while. But tonight... we wanted more than just "pizza" so, we decided we'd try again. I rang them twice this evening to place our order for delivery. First time, I was greeted with, "KT's, please hold..." & immediately placed on hold. Which is understandable. They're busy. No big whoop. 10 mins goes by. I hang up. I ring back. Same greeting. Only this time, I held for 20 mins before someone picked up. While I was holding, my husband actually called from his cell & they took his order straight away. A bit irritated at this point, but the gentleman that picked up my line apologized profusely & seemed sincere. Fast delivery. Hot food. GREAT FOOD! Wonderful portion sizes. All in all, polite people run this place & they got our order spot on, considering we had a couple of modifications to our meals. Thank you, KT's. We will be coming back!!! read more

We discovered KT's a few years ago after moving to this area of Jacksonville and we were ecstatic! The customer service was great, they're local, and the pizza was actually quite good for Florida (sorry!) Unfortunately over the last year or so the pizza hasn't tasted the same. We've tried to practice restaurant forgiveness but we've ordered numerous times in the past 6 months and the crust has consistently been dry/cardboard-y. This is our local Italian restaurant. This is a regular place we visit. All I can say the sauce here is awesome. Everything is homemade and fresh. We regularly get either a variety of hot sandwiches, pizza or the Lasagna. The dinners also come with a side salad. My son always gets the chicken parmigiana sandwich, always a great choose. The garlic bread is actually a bun but is still really good. If you want a different flavor of Lasagna, try it you won't be disappointed. read more
