I really want to give this place a 5, but something is missing. The crust is great at least in a large; it's pretty thin until you get to the edge where it's crisp on the outside and delightfully doughy chew on the inside. It's not too greasy and uniformly covered in cheese. I'm not sure if there's just not enough sauce, or lacking a flavor in general...it just needs something. It's much smaller inside than I thought it would be and I can see at least 6 people working and a steady flow of people coming in to take pizza to go, so it's kind of loud because of a lot of people calling out orders. I like some of the NY signs and pictures that have up. Not the same kind of friendly as most places are around here, but not at all rude. Probably just so busy is why. I also thought they had more pasta dishes, but they are primarily pizza and a good amount of sandwiches. We will definitely try some more things. read more

Went for lunch with friends. Three of us had pizza lunch special which was two slices with a topping and a drink. No complaints but all agree was decent. One had calzone which was enough for two and excellent. The other friend had a chicken parmigiana sandwich which he claimed was way overcooked and dry. Staff were pleasant. read more

Last time we were here they just opened. The line was out the door with a 45 to 60 minute wait. The new has worn off and though they are still busy you can walk in, order and sit down. The staff is very friendly. You can order slices or whole pizza. They quickly reminded us that we can do the pizza half and half. We ordered the loaded garlic knots and a half and half pizza. All around AMAZING! The slices were fresh, warmed to order and so delicious!!! I had hot honey pepperoni, Hawaiian, deluxe, and they were all so good! also had the opportunity to try some of their pinwheels quickly realized I've been missing out--they were full of meat cheese, and fresh vegetables, perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey and melty on inside. Wings, fried to order with the perfect crunch too. The staff are all very friendly, a real family vibe--shoutout to Chris and Rosario with her beautiful smiling face!! This is the best Pizza within a very long drive. Stopped in today to get two slices from Kaylah & ALyssa and wound up watching 3 innings of the game; it was a day game, and walking out with a large pie. I worked and lived in the city, and let me tell you these guys are up there with Lucala and D'Faras for speed and quality. It is the kind of place that is so good you'll drive out of your way to go to. Not just the food but the folks in there as well. Oh, and for the price, it is a great value. Everything was delicious, staff was amazing, and I had an entirely positive experience. We recently ordered delivery and had an entirely different experience with the food. We ordered hot honey roni pizza. I had had it before so I knew what to expect there. We also ordered fried mozzarella, which tasted store-bought. That container also had a hair in it. Lastly, we ordered the meatballs, which were hardly edible. I will eat basically anything... but I took one bite and was done. You order at the counter, they have several options including by the slice. They had a TV that you could watch. Soda, wine, and beer to drink. We ordered ravioli as an appitizer. The ravioli was crispy, hot and fresh! It had a good flavor although the sauce was a bit on the bland side. They did have seasoning at the table. We ordered a canzone because they said it would feed 2. The calzone was a great size and we easily split it. It was so cheesy! Upon entrance, it feels just like a pizza parlor should. Small and few tables, pizza in the viewing window, the cashier greeting with a smile and friendly hello. We ordered the lunch special 2 slices of cheese pizza and a soda. The kids enjoyed the slices and ate them all. We had an appetizer of zucchini fries. I opted for ranch instead of the suggested marinara and they were superb. I ordered a slice of the white pizza and it was perfection. The antipasto salad was beautiful and tasty. The staff brought out an order of zeppolis for us to try and they were delicious too! This is the best pizza I've had in northern Florida, absolutely no contest. I've never had authentic NY style pizza but I can see why so many pizza joints recreate it so often. And this place does it the best. Big, big slices. The perfect ratio of sauce and cheese; the ingredients are always fresh no matter what toppings you choose and the crust.. the crust has a crunchy, bread-like flavor that's so delicious and addictive and pairs well with a fizzy soda. The atmosphere is hustle bustle since they're making pies all day, but somehow cozy at the same time. I'm also impressed with the wait time when you choose order and pick up, they're very quick which is always a great thing. Overall I highly recommend DeCicco's. This was my second to go order since they opened. The staff is always super friendly, they were able to recommend their favorite foods, and greet as soon as you walk in. I love that you can either order or they also have pizza by the slice. They have lots of options for the pizza by a slice.
