6/7/25. Just stopped in a pizza, salad and wings. All were good! AND we have lunch for tomorrow.

Came at the recommendation of an acquaintance who claimed they serve best pizza in FB. We were greeted enthusiastically when we approached the bar where you order. The wine list is inadequate but the beer list is fantastic. The Margherita Pizza was disappointing. The outer crust was delicious but the inner crust was paper thin and limp. Hardly any mozzarella. It was a late Sunday afternoon so perhaps the pizza chef was off. We will give it another chance.

Revisited this place on this trip, and it's still amazing! Service, food, and cleanliness were all top notch!

First Love Brewing is an adorable brewery that is located right around the corner from the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn. It was the perfect spot to get great service and grab a quick flight. Their pizzas looked amazing and we'll definitely be back to try their food menu next time!

We loved the wings. Cute atmosphere but super hard to find seating when it's busy. The bill was a bit high. We expect that for Fernandina but don't think we should be paying the same amount for food and drinks at a brewery as we would be paying at a sit down restaurant with nice cocktails.

After a bike day up in the Fernandina Beach area, we needed some beer and pizza. Hubby suggested First Love Brewing and I was all in on that idea! We ordered a couple flights and enjoyed them outside while sitting at one of the patio tables. The daisy honey blonde was my favorite. Close second was a beacon of light, a very tasty milk stout. Hubby's favorite was the cardinal truth IPA. We went inside to order food and grabbed a table since it was getting chilly outside. We ordered huli huli wings and a hot honey pizza. The wings came out pretty quick. They were sensational! We both loved these wings. Crispy, sweet, savory, tangy. A unique flavor for sure. The blue cheese was on point as well. Our pizza arrived shortly after the wings. Hot, crispy and delicious! The crust was perfection! Pepperoni cups were yummy. There was a perfect balance between heat and sweet. We both loved it. It was also just the right size to share without taking home a bunch of leftovers. Highly recommend! We will most definitely be back very soon!

Piping hot cheese pizza. Oh so cheesy!

Piping hot pizza paired perfectly with ice cold beer. Quick service at the counter. We chose to eat outside at a picnic table under the enormous oak tree in the parking lot. Cabinet with games and cards was a fun touch. Great spot for Sunday afternoon lunch.

truffle fries - the best part!
    Misty M.

A simple beer and pizza joint - bummed they were out of wings when we visited. However, the truffle fries were an awesome surprise. About 10 different beers on tap (no true IPAs) but a decent variety to choose from. We may stop by again when we're in the area to give them another try!

We were staying at a B&B across the street and after a day of travel this cute little brewery was perfect. The place was hopping and all the inside tables were full but we grabbed a picnic table outside where the weather was perfect. I ordered at the bar and they gave me a number sign to put on the table for the food server to find me. We had Huli Hulu wings which were delicious. Crunchy with a sweet Hawaiian style BBQ sauce. We also had a Momma Maria pizza. It is medium in size but perfect to share with the wings. It had meatball pieces and ricotta on it. It was also very good. We had a flight of 4 mini beers and relaxed. All in all, a very good brewery with lots of locals and tourists alike.

I'm sad. I'm sad this place isn't in St Augustine, or have a location closer to St Augustine…read more Ever since I discovered this place, I try to add it in when I'm in the area. Unfortunately, I'm not in the area that much, and only once did I make the journey just to come here. What is the draw, you may ask? Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, great vibes! , That said, every meal I have had here has been delicious. The beer is pretty darn good & cold too! Of course, with the long drive...ya gotta limit it. But it's worth it for anything on the menu. I don't know where to start food-wise, I am trying to eat my way around the menu. The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The menu offers a little something different. The atmosphere and vibe are always inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are fair, portions are ample, and there is plenty of parking. The decor is fun too! Not to mention, they give a veteran discount with proof of ID. What more can you ask for? Well, I know what I can ask for! To the owners: pretty please, with sugar on top, consider opening a location in St. Augustine. Not in the downtown area, but the folks north of town need something; they need you! Around the Palencia & Kensington area, off US 1 to be exact...or anywhere nearby in that area. The folks there would love something they can walk to, ride bikes to, maybe even use a golf cart to get to...and yes, a short drive is good too. Jus' sayin'! Please just check it out...I said pretty please!

When having my boyfriend and his momma pick me up after a work trip to have a weekend to visit…read morethem, they suggested this location for lunch before we made the drive back to Eustis where she lives. They had mentioned seeing some good Yelp reviews, and the menu looked intriguing. I had already had breakfast at a great locally owned place, so my appetite was smaller. What We Ordered: - Oyster Po Boy: my boyfriend and his momma split this, and they both said it was okay though they HATED the gumbo. Very unfortunate as when splitting they had to pay for an additional portion of it. - Blackened Mahi Sandwich: this was recommended by our waitress who started out fantastic, but ultimately disappeared after food delivered so I went without a drink for quite some time. I did eat enough a portion of mine before running out of coke, so I had to pause eating as I need a liquid as I eat. I had split this with my boyfriend, so he enjoyed his fully warm. Mine was good for those first few bites, and really enjoyed the fries. They remind me of the filmstrip fries you can get in Disney's California Adventure. - Coke + Lime: if the machine is calibrated, this is always a win for me! It definitely made a travel day better. Sadly, between the waitress being inattentive after the food was delivered and there being quite the unsavory show being played, this was a miss for me. Who plays Steve Wilkos in a restaurant? It's the modern day Jerry Springer show. I just find that baffling to be quite honest, though we did get a chuckle at it while I waiting desperately for a refill so I could eat the remaining portion of my meal.

Stopped in for dinner with my wife at this local brewery…read more The business is located close to the pier but not in the pier area. The business has a small parking lot it shares with other businesses, there is also a small gravel lot beside it that you can park at. If you go at a busy time, parking can be a chore. Upon arrival, the business was busy with both inside and outside seating filled but we were seated immediately at a table with both bench and chair seating that shared the bench with other tables. There is also bar seating and you can sit at a high top that borders the brew stations. It took a few minutes for us to meet our server who took our drink orders. Soda for her and non-alcoholic IPA for me. It took our server a while to bring our drinks and she forgot my IPA so she had to go find it. Once we had our beverages, we ordered our food. We started with the bacon wrapped blue cheese dates - the dates are served on tooth picks and looked great but the blue cheese overpowered the flavor of everything else. My wife ordered the special of the day (not on everyday menu) which was shrimp tacos with a black bean pineapple salsa and house made chips and fries. I opted for the house burger with cheddar cooked medium and chips and fries. It took a long time for our food to come out and after observing our server chatting it with a table of her friends who were behind us, I am pretty sure she may have forgot to order it in a timely manner. When our food came it was auctioned off to us by another team member (no server to be found). My wife's tacos were overstuffed and fell apart. I tried one and the fried shrimp tasted really fishy to me, not like fried shrimp is supposed to taste. My burger was okay but nothing special. Really wanted to like this place but it did not live up to our expectations.

Had a nice lunch out at Wicked Barley Brewing Company - Jacksonville, FL today to kickoff and enjoy…read moretheir Reggae Sunday season. My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.
