    6/3/23. Limited lunch menu
    Laura P.

6/2/23, We chose to dine on their covered, ocean view patio at the Omni Resort rather than the inside area. Such a relaxed, casual beach vibe! A perfect way to begin summer! Seals and Croft "Summer Breeze" filling the airways. Their lunch menu is limited, but their cocktail menu is plentiful and will get your beach party started! We shared the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, $18, complete with cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and dressed with their in house buttermilk dressing. The sandwich was drippy with their delish dressing and the chicken was grilled perfectly moist. The tomato had black spots indicating it's "over the hill" state. Know that fries accompany this sandwich, but it's not stated on the menu. Because we were unaware the the French fry side, we ordered their Truffle Parmesan fries too, $16, served with a condiment of Rosemary Kalamata olive aioli. The waiter didn't inform us either. The truffle fries were flavorful, stood on their own, and the Rosemary Kalamata olive aioli competed with the truffle and Parmesan. Aioli absolutely not needed. I'd dine here again if staying at the Omni, but wouldn't return otherwise.

    Chia seed pudding, very good!

Grab and go breakfast is very convenient, chia seed pudding was very good and fresh. Blueberry muffin was good but only had a few blueberries, one blueberry had a stem attached. The breakfast grab and go was very busy around 9am. The manager came to help out since they were so busy, which was nice.

We should've thought twice about staying somewhere with such limited resources. We were hungry during dinner time and thought we can get something small and quick at Seaglass. But be rest assured that it will not be quick here. It's really not the staff's fault but the resorts because they are super understaffed here. People's orders are mistaken left and right because the guests are so limited to where they can go on this Island, like what do you expect us to eat? For the pricing and patience we had given, the food was mediocre at its best. The only thing that was good was our server was super nice. We got the wagyu sliders and they were over cooked and dry. Didnt even get a chance to ask for ketchup, as our waiter was super busy. The flatbread was delicious but not filling at all. It was really expensive here and I was just not satisfied for what I had paid for.

This place serves as coffee shop and cocktail Lounge for hotel. Seaside is the buffet and marche is the cafe. For drinks the selections here are a bit higher end than at Oceanside though do not have draft beers. Have lite food though oddly what they call bites served until 10. Last call is at 1145. Breakfast is very pricey as regular coffee is 4 and muffin is 6 which is high even compared to nyc Starbucks prices. Space is nice with a number of group seating including long table for larger groups. You can also take food and drink out to patio. If going to pool will give you a plastic cup.

I had a very good latte on the last morning. In the evenings, they were quick to make a drink and very easy to deal with.

Great cheese platters, sliders, and cured meats. Excellent piano bar. Comfy chairs. Try it instead of the Ritz.

We haven't been to Pogo's since they revamped the menu. We liked the food in prior years, but the…read moremenu was sort of scattershot. Now it's clearly Italian, leaning modern. The decor really hasn't changed; it's still one of the nicest rooms on the island. We showed up with three bottles of wine from deep in our cellar, and they handled them well. I offered to cork the 2015 Chablis, as I was a little unsure about the cork stability, and they were fine with that. (By the by, the wine was fine; absolutely wonderful, in fact). Our party of 7 ordered across the menu; the burrata starter (with an extra order of focaccia, as suggested by the server), the meatballs, the suppli, and 1/2 dozen of the east coast oysters. The oysters were great; small, shallow cup, briny and fresh. The suppli were small, but cut into bite size portions, we shared them around, and the taste was all there. The meatballs were slightly smaller than we thought they'd be, but they were meaty, juicy, and came in a ragu that perfectly complemented them. The burrata was the star of the show; fresh, milky, and accompanied with diced tomatoes, onions and strawberries. We were in luck with out entrees; they had their burger on the menu. The burger is made from scraps of their Waygu steak. It was served on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheese, house burger sauce, and house made pickles. The fries were delivered extra crispy, as I requested. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Truly spectacular. The pastas really shone; the lobster ravioli were wonderful (though the portion was a little smaller than we thought is should be) with thin hand stuffed pasta and plentiful lobster filling; the pasta carbonara was wonderful (and prepared with guanciale, as it should be), and the English pea and mint agnolotti was a vegetarian's dream. The smoked chicken lasagna was a huge portion served in a cast iron coquette; I seem to recall it from the old menu, and it was as good as always. We were all stuffed after our feast, but we still had room to share some of the mini cannolis. They were made à la minute; no mushy pastry shell here. First class dessert Service was good, pricing was reasonable, and the atmosphere was lovely; highly recommended for modern Italian on Amelia Island.

Stop scrolling. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best meals I've had on Amelia Island…read more The new menu is *that* good. Cassidy took incredible care of us, Chef Alan was so thoughtful, and every single thing we ordered made us pause mid-bite. But what made the night unforgettable was the hospitality. They went so above and beyond -- the kind of genuine kindness and thoughtfulness that makes you want to stay all night and immediately start planning your next visit. We left feeling so taken care of and texting every single person we know that they need to go ASAP before we even walked out the door. parmigiano reggiano funnel cake (A MUST!!!!!) carbonara english pea agnolotti pork chop milanese (star of the show!!!) tiramisu, s'mores cookie, pecan tart (the s'mores cookie altered the trajectory of my life) RUN, DON'T WALK!!!!!!!!
