Beware that the beer and wine can be quite expensive here, which the employee actually warned me about. I went next door to the wine/beer bottle shop to get a bottle of wine, which was much cheaper. Also, I would be remiss not to mention the wonderful pastries here. What made it worse was that the manager was clearly within earshot of the entire interaction and didn't step in to clarify anything or offer a solution. Overall, the experience was mediocre at best, but this situation left a really bad impression. For a golf course restaurant, the level of service was unacceptable. Consistency and basic hospitality should be the bare minimum.
