Loved the atmosphere of this place and the host and waiter were so friendly. I had this squid ink pasta with shrimp. It was so very unique and delicious. The rest of my family had different things they all enjoyed. Definitely check this place out.

The food and service is phenomenal!! The menu changes seasonally and we love the appetizers. Right now the 10-year sourdough and the baked green hill cheese appetizers were so great we ordered them two days in a row! The seasonal apple cider mule from the cocktails is my favorite, it tastes like a hint of fall and so refreshing. Highly recommend! The bartender / waiter Jeff is so friendly and gives exceptional service highly recommend him!

All I can say is wow! My husband and I came here to celebrate our 7 year anniversary and Shawn the bartender made it the best night ever! I started with a tiramisu martini that was heavenly and my husband adored the mezcal margaritas! We shared the octopus appetizer and it was perfect! I just wish it had been bigger! We also shared the blue crap drip. It was good, but didn't really feel like a dip. It had a lot of spinach and artichokes in it. There wasn't much dip texture. It was still good. We also shared the diver scallops with mushroom risotto. This dish is heavenly!! We ended the night with complimentary dessert!

This is definitely Amelia island's finest restaurant. We were staying in the Omni hotel resorts and this was place was strongly recommended. So glad we tried it out. The moment you enter the restaurant you will get a fantastic service, delicious food, and an enjoyable evening with friends and family. We were a group of eight so made reservations ahead of time. You can make reservations right from the Omni hotel website. In the beginning they start you out with delicious bread, olives and rosemary olive oil tomato purée. They make all their pasta in house and each pasta dish we ordered was amazing. The cheese board is a sure winner and a must order. Another favorite was the Florida Snapper. Loved how it was presented and the taste was exquisite. You cannot leave without trying out the desserts, we ordered the tiramisu and olive oil cake. Both were melting in the mouth and simply amazing. The tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had. 10/10 for me.

Cool experience and we had wanted to check out some of the restaurants at the Omni. A little hard to locate right off the bat, but we found it! (Maybe easier if you are staying at Omni). It was later in the evening so a little quite, but nice table set ups and the were creating homemade pasta at a station in the front to immediately entice us! We thought the overall meal was good, but didn't blow us away. For the price we feel like we could have gotten better elsewhere. BUT good portions, nice staff and the little "free tastes" to start were a nice touch. Pasta was very fresh and hearty!

I came here to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very nice, accommodating, and made the day special. The restaurant has a nice set up on a relaxing resort. It is complicated to get to if coming from off the resort so plan ahead if you need to be on time. The design was costal and cozy the food was good and so were the drinks.

Crab crusted grouper with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was delicious! The grouper was a little dry, but flavor was there! Verandah is beautiful and the atmosphere is quiet and service is wonderful! Very attentive.

From the moment you come in the staff is extremely friendly and professional! The service was top notch! The food was delicious! We tried different appetizers and all were amazing (Burrata, Octopus, etc). We also had Numerous main dishes and everyone in our party really liked the food! Some pictures attached. The ambiance of the Verandah was excellent: dim lights, candles and excellent selection of music playing in the background! Will definitely come back again to try their other seasonal menus!

This place was amazing. Great ambience. Very good service. Delicious bread. Yummy charcuterie. The grouper dish was phenomenal. Someone I was with got the scallops dish and really enjoyed it.

We went for New Year's eve and they had a pre-fixed menu for 99 dollars. Food was delicious. I loved the steak and mushroom soup. Fantastic! I would give it 20 out of 10. I was not a big fan of the pear dessert. Live music and a great ambiance. Kids menu was 52 dollars, I don't think it was worth it. One of my kids had spaghetti and meatballs, and the other one a fried piece of fish with mashed potatoes and a carrot, they didn't like it. It came with a cup of fruit and a scoop of ice cream. Service was very good as well.

I really liked Verandah! The service was good. My cocktail was my favorite cocktail so far in Amelia island. It was really fruity and fun. I also got a shrimp bisque that was really good. They poured the bisque over the shrimp at the table. And at the end of the meal I got a free glass of limoncello!

Great seafood restaurant on the Omni Amelia Resort property near the tennis courts. It's classy and elegant inside. Our dishes were delicious. We ordered several appetizers, entrees and desserts to share. We all enjoyed the complimentary cornbread and scones. Oysters were delicious-fresh and briny tasting. Fried green tomatoes were just ok. I thought the tomatoes could have been cut thicker and the cornmeal crust crispier. Deviled eggs were a perfect creamy bite. My Swordfish was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the ratatouille. Fried chicken was tender and with a crispy coating. Mashed potatoes were perfect, but the collard greens too salty. Shrimp Cavatelli was ok but nothing too special. I felt the dish was overly salty. The desserts were all delicious!! I can't even pick a favorite. The Orange Chèvre Cheesecake was citrusy and light. My youngest loved the Brooklyn Blackout Cake-it was a decadent layered chocolate cake. The chocolate hazelnut tarte was amazing. A chocolate shell was filled with a chocolate hazelnut filling. So good!

If you like, old-school food with a lot of sauce on everything, then you'll like their food. It's a pretty restaurant.

We haven't been to Pogo's since they revamped the menu. We liked the food in prior years, but the…read moremenu was sort of scattershot. Now it's clearly Italian, leaning modern. The decor really hasn't changed; it's still one of the nicest rooms on the island. We showed up with three bottles of wine from deep in our cellar, and they handled them well. I offered to cork the 2015 Chablis, as I was a little unsure about the cork stability, and they were fine with that. (By the by, the wine was fine; absolutely wonderful, in fact). Our party of 7 ordered across the menu; the burrata starter (with an extra order of focaccia, as suggested by the server), the meatballs, the suppli, and 1/2 dozen of the east coast oysters. The oysters were great; small, shallow cup, briny and fresh. The suppli were small, but cut into bite size portions, we shared them around, and the taste was all there. The meatballs were slightly smaller than we thought they'd be, but they were meaty, juicy, and came in a ragu that perfectly complemented them. The burrata was the star of the show; fresh, milky, and accompanied with diced tomatoes, onions and strawberries. We were in luck with out entrees; they had their burger on the menu. The burger is made from scraps of their Waygu steak. It was served on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheese, house burger sauce, and house made pickles. The fries were delivered extra crispy, as I requested. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Truly spectacular. The pastas really shone; the lobster ravioli were wonderful (though the portion was a little smaller than we thought is should be) with thin hand stuffed pasta and plentiful lobster filling; the pasta carbonara was wonderful (and prepared with guanciale, as it should be), and the English pea and mint agnolotti was a vegetarian's dream. The smoked chicken lasagna was a huge portion served in a cast iron coquette; I seem to recall it from the old menu, and it was as good as always. We were all stuffed after our feast, but we still had room to share some of the mini cannolis. They were made à la minute; no mushy pastry shell here. First class dessert Service was good, pricing was reasonable, and the atmosphere was lovely; highly recommended for modern Italian on Amelia Island.

Stop scrolling. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best meals I've had on Amelia Island…read more The new menu is *that* good. Cassidy took incredible care of us, Chef Alan was so thoughtful, and every single thing we ordered made us pause mid-bite. But what made the night unforgettable was the hospitality. They went so above and beyond -- the kind of genuine kindness and thoughtfulness that makes you want to stay all night and immediately start planning your next visit. We left feeling so taken care of and texting every single person we know that they need to go ASAP before we even walked out the door. parmigiano reggiano funnel cake (A MUST!!!!!) carbonara english pea agnolotti pork chop milanese (star of the show!!!) tiramisu, s'mores cookie, pecan tart (the s'mores cookie altered the trajectory of my life) RUN, DON'T WALK!!!!!!!!
