I especially like that they have both a lunch buffet and dinner buffet, so I can sample several of there delicious menu items in one visit. They have added a salad bar to the buffet that has a variety of items and it is extremely fresh. The hot items usually include spaghetti, meatballs, sausage and peppers, chicken alfredo, roasted chicken, lasagna, garlic knots and sometimes chicken marsala and other specialties. The buffet also includes a slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza. I especially think the homemade meatballs and sausage are excellently prepared (very tasty) and the tomato sauces used with the meatballs and sausage/peppers are the best I've tasted. The atmosphere is pleasant and charming and the service is friendly and efficient. They have an extensive menu of ala carte items that I have seen served to other guests and everything looks and smells delicious. The customers always comment how good their selections are and how generous the portions are. The prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend that people do themselves a favor and check out this little taste of heaven, both the buffet and the regular menu. Ordered their deluxe pizza for delivery around 9pm and it did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely delicious; nothing like the greasy, underwhelming pies you get from the big chains. The toppings were so fresh and generously piled on that it almost felt indulgent eating it, and the crust had that satisfying homemade quality you just can't fake. Delivery was fast, too! Exactly what you want late at night! We've also visited their location for the lunch buffet and walked away just as impressed. Went to Celeno's for lunch. The service was very good, the waiter was very friendly, attentive. They had a salad bar and buffet available, it was very clean. You also got a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza which to me was fairly decent I like a thin slice with a crispy edge. I will say I wish I got there right at open so that the food would be hot, they were under warmers and warm but I think it would have been a little better right out. My favorite was the ziti, the Alfredo was okay but again I think would've been better if I got there right at open. Overall for the lunch price and a buffet I think it was fair. read more

I finally got to try this place out for the first time today thanks to Goldie since we had a meeting up together with Ron. The parking lot to the area is not big, but finding a parking spot is not hard eother. Once inside, you can see that the place is small, nice and cozy, with such friendly, kindhearted, and amazing staff. You are greeted and seated right away. The waiters are very attentive to your needs and always asks if you need a refill on your drink, if they could get you anything, etc.. I love that. There was also a musician there playing the guitar. I got the all you can eat buffet. It comes with a salad, your choice of a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza, and whatever is at the buffet station. I got the pepperoni and it was fresh, hot, and yummy. I ended up getting another slice because why not. At the buffet station I tried their meatballs, Italian sausage with some pasta, lasagna, and garlic knots. My favorite from the buffet was their Italian sausage and meatballs. They were really good in my opinion. And for dessert, their zeppoli's were so good!! Overall, this is a great place to go to for some all you can eat Italian food. Had to finally leave a review since this pizza is so good!!! We have ordered the large cheese pizza through door dash numerous times now and it always arrives fresh and tastes delicious! We love it a-lot! Definitely recommend to give it a try it's so worth it!!! We decided to go with the buffet and everything looked fresh and was hot. The waiter checked back frequently to see if we needed anything. He even brought us each a piece of fresh, hot pizza. This was our 2nd visit to Celeno's since the new owners had taken over earlier this year. The former owners were friendlier and nicer than what we experienced when we met the wife of the new owner. She was a little condescending, borderline rude, and unprofessional as she seemed to have an attitude about the previous owners and how they handled their restaurant, buffet, and pizza. The husband was just the opposite from her but we still knew then that we would not return. But after several months, we heard they added a salad bar so we eventually gave it another try. Big mistake (at least on a Saturday). Now maybe it would be a little better during the week pending on who's working but our experience was horrific! As we came in and sat down, the server came over and I told him we would have the buffet. Hey said OK and asked what we'd like to drink. And I said two waters with no ice but in to go cups and he instantly looked confused but said OK. He brought two glasses of water without ice. I asked him if he has to go cups and he asked me if I wanted the waters to go. I said never mind. I then asked him his name and he paused and looked dumbfounded and then said Anders. Celeno's Restaurant is at the intersection of Anders Blvd and Southside Blvd. Hmmmmm. What are the odds? We were the only diners until a single guy came in and had the buffet as well. There were some pickup orders and only one server as he appeared to care more about getting his smoke on outside than taking care of his two tables. And when he wasn't smoking outside, he'd sit behind the counter while I think rolling silverware. And each time the phone would ring with customers calling to place orders and schedule an event, the server had the phone speaker up very loud and we could hear everything across the restaurant including names, phone numbers, etc. We were just about finished eating so I walked up to him sitting behind the counter and asked for some pizza since it was never mentioned. He asked if it would be a slice. I said yes, one for each of us which finally came about 10 minutes later. And about 5 mins later, since the server was outside smoking again, the single guy stood up and walked to the counter to get a cook's attention so he could ask for a slice of pizza. The server never checked on us. and left our dirty plates piled up on our table so I picked them up and placed them on a clean table. The server eventually retrieved them when he brought our slice of pizza.The buffet food wasn't hot at all and not even warm though there was a little steam coming from the buffet. The salad bar was mediocre and that's a very generous comment and the pizza was very greasy so I took a tiny bite and then left our greasy pizza on our plate. The "free dessert" was also never mentioned. We couldn't wait to leave.The server acted like it was his 1st day there and had never waited on customers before. He was totally lazy and clueless. It was a most enjoyable evening from start to finish at Celeno's Bistro! This evening was my first visit here, along with two wonderful Elite friends, Goldie and Loan. We team up once a month to visit a local restaurant as each of us rotate who picks one each month. This time, it was Italian cuisine! I had no issues with that as I have a little bit of Italy in me! This restaurant is very easy to spot on the road, is attractive in appearance, especially when lit up at night. The interior is pretty large and well-spaced and had one room I didn't get to see. All three of us ordered the buffet, which earned us a one well-sized slice of pizza to start and a salad with dressings of our choice. The pizza is pretty basic, but still quite good. The food bar had six varying choices of Italian cuisine, including pasta. I enjoyed the sausage most but had no issues with the tortellini and lasagna. All three of us were happy with the food during the visit. Our servers were excellent in courtesy and seeing to our needs as well as the other customers here. I have heard good things about this restaurant. So, I took my step Father here for Father's Day. This is located in the former Blue Bamboo location on Southside Blvd. Adam was our Waiter. He was very attentive to us. The buffet was very good. Then a salad came to our table followed by two slices of pepperoni pizza and then dessert-zapolis. The dessert was fresh, hit and delicious. We missed the buffet because we were right between lunch & dinner, but we had zero regrets. Our server, one of the brothers who owns the restaurant, was so kind and accommodating. He went above & beyond to make sure we had a fabulous experience and delicious meal. Everything is homemade, and uses family recipes, and it shows. Between all of us we had garlic bread, garlic knots (omg delicious!), calamari (the best hand-breading ever), chicken Alfredo, caribbean chicken calzone, Italian sausage, spaghetti & meatballs, and baked tortellini. I heard about this place opening and I've been excited that we are getting an Italian place in the area. I stopped by for their opening week. The place is very clean and the staff are excellent. I was impressed by the number of dishes they have on the buffet. There were eight different dishes the day I went. Everything was good. I really enjoyed the tortellini. It tasted like it had a garlic cream sauce. The only drawback was that the chicken in the Chicken Alfredo was a bit dry. This is an all you can eat type Italian buffet, which is not something I normally do. However, we were looking for a quick spot on a weeknight. Not only is the pasta buffet, excellent, but plentiful. It is a small buffet they bring you a piece of pizza and a salad also. You can also order off the menu which I did, and my dish was excellent. This is someone's grandmother's spaghetti sauce. Delicious meal. I love a dim hole-in-the-wall type of place and this was perfect for a very casual Saturday night dinner. The whole menu is super affordable, everything is very reasonably priced.
