We opted not to have the buffet as there was more on it that we shouldn't eat due to dietary restrictions than we needed to have. So, we ordered off the menu and were very pleased with our choices. The service was gracious and the server very knowledgeable of the menu and when we had specific questions about ingredients, he verified with the kitchen. I found this place from other Yelpers that had tried it. This is a new Italian restaurant on Southside Blvd. it's cozy and relaxing inside. Our waiter was considerate and polite. The menu is a well rounded variety of Italian dishes from pasta, handheld and pizza. The price of the food is the least expensive I have seen in sometime. We just missed the lunch buffet which is from 11-2 and dinner buffet from 5 till. Lunch is $10.99 and dinner is $12.99. It still was an appealing experience. We ordered an appetizer of meatballs that was absolutely delicious. Covered with a well made red sauce, light and not overly done with tomato and the balls had a great taste, and covered with mozzarella cheese to top it off. The appetizer I could have made a meal out of the portion. My husband ordered chicken fettuccine with white sauce and I ordered chicken cacciatore with red sauce and specifically made a special way for me. Each plate came with garlic bread and a salad. The entree came out in a good time. The portions once again were large and no skimping on quality. This place is a people pleaser and truly cares about its customers and making you want to try them again and again. We finished with a version of fried donuts with a delicious strawberry syrup and powdered sugar on top. We had leftovers to bring home. We really enjoyed Celeno's! The food on the buffet was fresh, hot, and very good. There was a good variety of options too. Every few minutes someone was up there checking on and stirring the food. Wow! Wow! Wow! We were so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The service was perfect: friendly, informative and timely. They offered a $10 bottle of wine that we could take home with us. We chose the Cabernet and it was really good. My husband had the $13.00 buffet which included salad, pizza slices, and all the fettuccine Alfredo, lasagne, sausage, meatballs and 3 different types of pasta. I had the eggplant Parmesan which was soooo good! The portion was very large and it came with garlic bread and a salad. Lastly, we were served complimentary fresh zeppelis in a raspberry sauce. There was also a classical guitarist that came to each table. The gentleman was very nice and played beautifully. This was a great experience. I really don't understand the rave reviews for this place other than people who frequent cheap buffets on a regular. We do not! This is not New York Pizza ... not even close! We ordered delivery and that will never happen again. 1. A calzone is a not a thin ( I mean thin ) horseshoe shape with pointy ends. ‍What even was that? LOL . The bottom was hard as a rock, top was see through and middle not done. You could see where the seam...oops... a no-no. It reminded of the movie Smile. 2. Pizza. Ugh. Good pizza has ground Italian sausage, NOT sliced link pepper sausage. John Morrel sliced chunk ham, WTH?? You use that for white beans and ham. 3. Zappolis- literally were glazed donuts cut up ,refried and coated with confectioners sugar. The side tomato sauce was watery. Nope! So, our search continues for the true NY Style pizzeria and not a bad comical version of what someone is trying to pass off as one. The service is great! The servers are really attentive and they will make your night with their good attitudes. The food can be very satisfying when ordered from the menu, at least from my experience. And the ambiance is nice with the music that they play in the background, although the low lights made me sleepy (long day). Not a huge foodie but my husband is. We go in and my daughter and I share a cheese pizza and my husband gets the food bar. It's wonderful!! I've always enjoyed the clean environment and professional staff at your restaurant especially the clean shaved employee who is very professional. However, during my recent visit, I had an issue with an employee (stubble beard guy) who was heavy on drugs approached me aggressively about removing my hoodie despite the rain. His repeated demands and rude behavior, especially in front of other customers, were upsetting. I complied only to be offended three more times that his boss will be angry and that i cannot have a hoodie. I had to shut him up and lost my appetite, I was not served properly not what so ever, hello, hi, what can I do for you today? Instead theres a drug addict in my face. To be clear this was an escalated fight at the restaurant. This was the first time I've felt disrespected at your restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. From the get-go, you could tell the cleanliness of the place. A very pleasant atmosphere is felt right away. I am a pizza lover, so I ordered a vegetarian thin pizza and soup. I was surprised that they brought in salad and rolls of piping-hot bread as a complimentary. A friend and i did lunch on a Saturday around 11:30am they had the all you can eat buffet. The buffet would have been really good if the food was hot ( it was not) and the Alfredo sauce had some consistency (was watery and runny. The restaurant it self is very sterile feeling no color no character. They bring you hot pieces of pepperoni pizza that was quite good and the zeppoles were the best part of the meal. We will try again but we know now to order off the menu in order to get a hot fresh meal. read more
