Also... if you were the kind lady who got up and moved for an elderly woman to sit closer to the door, that was very kind of you. However, the conversation you tried to begin and have with me was extremely presumptuous and rude. Not everyone who chooses to have a salad at a BBQ place is doing so to "lose weight". Some of us, overweight or not, enjoy a good smoked BBQ salad and next time, please just mind your business.

The ribs were impeccable: smoky, perfect bark, and tender with just a little tug. The pork sandwich was equally good--the smoke flavor is very prominent without being overwhelming. If you're often disappointed by bbq that has no smoke flavor, you won't be disappointed here. The Carolina gold sauce is excellent too, but you don't even need sauce because the meat is so good. I also tried the beans, mac and cheese, and cole slaw, all of which were good. But let's face it, bbq is about the meat, and both meats I tried were stellar. My parents ended up taking most of it home for their dog since we couldn't finish it.
