Hibachi better than Kobe's and Benihana but from a food truck! We ordered 2 Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice with Shrimp and 2 Green Apple Lemonades. All of it was great. They have a Sweet Mayo sauce that reminds me of the Yum Yum sauce from Kobe's. The service was good. It took 10 minutes to get our food. We spent $53 for 2 people. It was worth the 2hr drive from Orlando since I always have leftovers. If only they had one in Orlando.

Tried Fatboy fried rice for the first time yesterday and they did not disappoint. Everything we had was 5/5 stars. The plates were huge & the portions were insanely filling. Can't wait to come back and see what else they got on the menu!! * Service: The staff were super friendly + the food was prepared quick!! * Price: About $15 per plate depending on what u get! I will definitely be back!

When I was browsing ubereats for a meal to be delivered to the hotel I was staying at for a work trip to Jacksonville, I saw this location and love food trucks. Some of the best food I've had the last few years have been surprisingly from a food truck, and from reviews and buzz on social media this location looked great. After ordering, I am joining the hype train for this food truck. Packaged with care, tasty, and love the convenience of ordering via ubereats.

FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYY I got a chance to try this place and it was phenomenal. I went to the Cassatt location. That one isn't listed here but it's the same recipe so here it goes. There's nothing special about the outside. Lol. At all. But the food. The food. Is where it's at. I let my eyes get bigger than my stomach... I bought 3 meals and didn't eat all of any of them. But they were all GREAT. I got the bulgogi, shrimp fried rice and the short rib fried rice. The bulgogi is spicy. Just perfectly seasoned and the perfect amount of spice. I love long reviews but there's not much more to say here , than to go try it for yourself.... It's gas!!

I had the teriyaki chicken fried rice with an egg. It was DELICIOUS and big enough for almost 3 meals! This will cure any hangover!

Today, this blue food truck is parked on Beach Blvd just east of Saint John's Bluff and west of 295. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and got 3 fried rice options and were given a buzzer to wait in our car until the food is ready. The two guys running the truck were welcoming and happy to see us. We must have come at a good time as a line of 3-4 other people formed behind us within a couple minutes. My kids loved the sour green apple lemonade which has an electric bright color and pucker that is unlike any other drink I've ever had. Hubs got the chicken teriyaki and I got the cheese burger fried rice which both came with a large portion in a styrofoam container - both of us had enough for 2-3 meals, easily! I think the base rice was the same for both of our options, and it was seasoned well and had a great texture, though I could have used a little more crispy edges on mine tbh. The value for the portion size is excellent, though I wish the base rice was not the same for all the dishes.

Took a chance and tried this place out. Absolutely fire . I got the cheese burger fried rice and it was the best mix up of food fusion I've had. The portion sizes are huge and I got basically lunch and dinner from one meal.

Depending on who you ask in my house, you will get a different review. My kids love the fried rice from here and give it a 5+. Me, I think it's good but I'm not a fan of over-sauced anything. We tried the bulgogi and sisig. For the bulgogi, I loved the cut of meat, it was tender and the rice was well-cooked and seasoned. I didn't catch much of the classic bulgogi flavor because all the sauces were too overpowering for me. It actually reminded me of steak hibachi when the shrimp sauce spills inside of the to-go container. For the sisig, the traditional flavors did shine through, and I found that this one wasn't as saucy as the bulgogi. Loved the hint of lemon. I believe adding a fried egg on top is an option,--so will def be doing that next time since that's how we did it at home. Overall, we did enjoy the flavors. I will just be sure to ask for the sauce on the side.

The fried rice is super rich; we only ate 1/4 of the box and were full! We ordered the bulgogi fried rice and regular fried rice. Both were kind of one note without any standout spices. The flavor was like heavier version of hibachi fried rice loaded up with shrimp sauce. I would recommend ordering one of the meat options as the plain fried rice left something to be desired. We came on a busy Sunday afternoon and were quoted a 35 min wait, but ended up only waiting 30 min. They give you pager so you can wait in your car. All in all, I could see myself stopping by for a late night snack, but not my first choice for a meal.

I wanted to love it. Called first to make sure they were open but no one answered the phone. Decided to try my luck and drive to the location showing on Yelp. Luckily they were there, 2 people waited in front of me in line. I was advised of a 30 minute wait which was fine with me. I ordered the short rib rice with a teriyaki chicken add on. I paid, was handed a buzzer and went to my car to wait. After 20 mins ago, my buzzer went off and I headed to the window to pick up my order. The guy at the window was nice and apologized for the wait. My drive home is about 7 minutes. Unfortunately my food was warm, not at all hot and I had to microwave it to reheat. I will never not be confused by receiving food that's not piping hot after being asked to wait... Anyways, the plate was full and looked yummy but the rice was just so salty it overpowered everything. And that's a lot coming from me because I love food that's very seasoned. Unfortunately, it was too salty. I shoveled down a few bites to kill my hunger pains and put the rest away.

Fatboy Fried Rice is outstanding. This rice is unmatched to me. I wish this food truck was closer to me, but it's worth the drive. It really deserves a brick a mortar because it really is tasty. The last time I got to try this place, it was a small wait. I sat in my car while I wait red. It was well worth the wait because the food was hot and fresh. Just thinking about this food truck is making me want to go for a visit this weekend. Fantastic!

We tried a few places and dishes. If you haven't been here yet, you can order at most of the food vendors but they do have several kiosks where you can order from multiple places at the same time. This was the most disappointing Asian item I've had in a while. I ordered a combo with roast duck and Char Siu. It some with vegetables and "Lo mein" noodles. I highlighted Lo mein because the dish actually has ramen noodles. I was really in the mode for Lo mein. Roasted Duck - it looked good but tasted old and had very little meat on it. It was the most fatty duck I've ever had. Char Siu - this was very good and tender Noodles - they were good for ramen noodles, but I wanted Lo mein Vegetables - cooked well and had a mild flavor as was to be expected I really had big expectations when I saw they duck, but this place disappointed me. I waited at the register for a few minutes and eventually had to initiate the conversation with a staff member, who looked past me more than once, just to confirm my order was ready. When I picked it up, it was handed to me in a to-go bag and container, despite selecting dine-in. I ordered the two-meat combo (spare ribs and pork belly) with rice. There were no sauces or condiments included. When I sat down to eat with my friends, the only thing remotely warm was the rice. The ribs and pork belly were cold--not even lukewarm. I was really hoping for a hot, satisfying meal, but this was a disappointment. The taste was just okay--bland, lacking in spice or flavor. The portion was mediocre ,for $17, I expected more flavor and, at the very least, a hot meal. Nothing special here. There are other quick-service spots in the market I'll be trying instead. For now, this one's a pass.

Update 6/22/2026:…read more Met up with a colleague for lunch and this place never fails me! The owner and staff are wonderful people working hard to bring the Hawaiian-Filipino taste to the Jax Community! Reminds me of when I visited Hawaii in the past and I just miss the islands! It was during early lunch so it was quiet at first but later saw folks coming through for lunch. My colleague never had Hawaiian food so the owner and I recommended a few dishes -- he chose the Loco Moco, Hawaiian-comfort food. I missed the garlic shrimp back then, and so luckily they had it in the menu -- Hawaiian Fried Garlic Shrimp!!! It was fantastic! The savory and super garlicky taste of those fried shrimps (yes, they had the shells still on, but that's the best part). The shells were crispy/fried enough and covered in the garlicky sauce that you can just eat it. Some folks may have other opinions, but I'm used to eating it this way in my culture as well. The fiesta rice was seasoned well and the Hawaiian Mac Salad was wonderfully semisweet and seasoned well too. Always great vibes by the decor and the owners!

I didn't like the sides on the Fiesta Plate that much (macaroni salad, which my wife didn't like, rice, salad), though the salad was pretty good. It also had a piece of fried chicken; I thought it was nice, my wife not so much, but neither of us thought it was up to Jollibee (admittedly, a high standard). I had a taste of the pancit bihon, which was more strongly flavored than any I've had before, and not a favorite. Servings are smallish, so I don't think that Fiesta Plate is a good value. They close too early at night: 8 PM on a Friday. The setting is simple. Some of the seating looked uncomfortable, e.g. a bench or tables along the wall with wood at your back. We got a table with four plastic chairs, however, which was comfortable. Our server was very nice and friendly, though she had more work than she could handle without issues. They add 3.5% (reflected in the prices above), for using credit cards. With a soda ($3.36 for a can) and tip, the total for two shared courses came to $35.
