Very good Mexican food. I have found the servers to be very personable, but very slow. The food Comes out quickly and is hot, with generous portions. I found the carnitas to be better than the chorizo tacos, but both were delicious.

I love tacos I could never give up on a place like this. Today's visit was much improved. The servers today actually cared about customers. There was no error on the bills. I only had the appetizer sampler today. The reason I only had that was I underestimated how big it is. That appetizer is big enough for four people. They have improved the menu design. Lunch is seperate from dinner. Lunch prices for entrees is visible. This time I look forward to going back. Will not wait months this time.

I absolutely, positively, recommend going to this place! Happen to be in Jax Beach this afternoon, and saw Que Pasa. If you know me, you know as a San Diego transplant, that I love my Mexican food. Decided to stop it. I am so glad we did. The service was quick, the food was fresh and yummy. Everyone on the staff was friendly, and look like they like being where they were. The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms looked like you could eat off the floor. I'm serious, it was that clean! The small peek that I got of the kitchen looked well organized and neat. I got Carnitas, and my husband got the piña de loca. If I hadn't been so full, I would've ordered a dessert. This just encourages me to go back again. I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

Came here on a Thursday night and it was packed! The restaurant is colorfully decorated and the staff are very quick and efficient. My boyfriend had the Mexican Mole and I had the shredded chicken chimichanga dinner plate. We also had a side order of a small queso. The serving sizes were incredibly generous and on huge plates. Everything was hot and fresh and came out quick despite how busy the restaurant was. They also had a lot of daily deals for drinks and have an outside seating area. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for Mexican food at the beach.

A New Mexican spot in Neptune Beach. Located in the same plaza as Monkeys Uncle yet on the opposite corner. Huge parking lot so never short on parking. I'd say the seating inside is a bit limited compared other Mexican restaurants. Luckily there is a huge patio with tons of seating. We got here on a Friday night around 7 and the place was packed. We prob waited 20 mins before being sat. Service was ehhh. Our waiter was friendly as can be but forgot both our guacamole and sour cream!!!!!! Thankfully he took them off our checks. Luckily we also ordered queso which was the bomb. Everyday before 7pm margaritas are 2-4-1s. They are strong yet delicious. I will def be back for these. Overall our food was amazing. Large portions and super tasty

Delicious Mexican food, very attentive service and a great atmosphere make this a great place to dine. We always start with the queso and guacamole, the white cheese is buttery and delicious and the guacamole has the perfect amount of citrus to brighten the salt from the chips. Our daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese for the first time, usually she orders the tacos, and it was creamy and delicious. I ordered shrimp and scallops over rice and I absolutely loved that it was topped with the queso and served with guacamole salad. My husband ordered chicken with sautéed peppers and onions, it came out hot and full of flavor. (See the pictures with menu items.) We enjoy this little restaurant for the upbeat atmosphere, great service and delicious food!

Pretty typical Mexican restaurant located on 3rd street in jax beach. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with typical mexican food- I'm game for mexican every day of the week. Just even though this place is "hot and new" there's nothing different compared to the other options in town. Margaritas were average (tasted pre mixed), the guac & queso were great, and the veggie quesadilla was unremarkable. Restaurant was clean, somewhat rowdy (soccer finals were on tv), bathroom was small, and waiter was adorable & attentive. I'd go again and try some more signature dishes, or just indulge in their happy hour specials.

Tried Que Pasa Mex today for a late lunch, and liked some things and was a little disappointed by others. The decor is lively and it seemed very clean. I arrived close to 4:00, so there were not many people there, but that was fine by me. I was quickly greeted and seated, which is a great start. My server came over pretty quickly and took my drink order. I started with a sangria and water and really liked the sangria. I had googled the menu before coming and anytime I can get huevos rancheros without meat, I am in. So I had pretty much made up my mind, but did look at the menu and will say they have a good variety of options for all taste and diets. The chips and salsa were good, though the chips needed some salt and the salsa was not very spicy. I ordered a small queso and it was more orange than I am used too. It was not my favorite queso, as it tasted like an artificial cheese product. The huevos rancheros came out along with beans and rice and while it looked delicious, it was simply just OK. The menu said fried eggs, but the eggs that I was served were basically over easy and I cannot eat that. Runny yolk ruined my meal and that was it. I was done. I did take the food to go, as I knew my son would eat it, but they should be more specific about the egg preparation. The other surprise was the meal had an upcharge of $2.00 and it said for dinner, though the menu did not mention that, or at least not that I noticed. Not such a big deal, but felt a little cheap to do that. Server was very nice, but I wondered why she did not question why I literally ate only a few bites of the food. I will give them another try and order something different, but they definitely have a few kinks to work out.

    Coconut margarita....too sweet.

Thought it was a winner with the nice decor in the restaurant. But I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was over cooked and very salty. Asked for a coconut margarita and it taste like they used a whole can of coco Lopez....wayyy too sweet. So it's a thumb down for me.

Man, it was one of the best decisions I've made on the road lately! The food came out hot and fresh with that real homemade taste. The tacos were packed with flavor, the rice and beans were on point, and the portions were generous enough to fill up a hungry driver without breaking the bank. I went with the carne asada and it hit the spot perfectly - seasoned just right, not too greasy, and cooked tender. Service was quick and friendly, even when they were busy. The place has that classic hole-in-the-wall vibe (in the best way), nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. It felt like the kind of authentic spot locals would keep coming back to. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the parking can be a little tight for a big rig if you're not careful, and they don't have a ton of truck-friendly seating space. But the food more than makes up for it. If you're rolling through the area and craving real Mexican food, definitely stop in. I'll be back next time I'm in the neighborhood. ¡Muy bueno! -- Carlos, SemiTruckDriver

Service at the bar was great. Food arrived faster than expected, but I had also got there as their night was winding down. My friends and I were originally going to eat here for Cinco de Mayo, but when I got there at 6:45, I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait. They had a DJ outside pumping out fast and upbeat music for the party and an outside margarita stand for grab and go drinks. When I arrived back just after 9, I had told them to take us off the list. She informed me that they tried calling me. Nothing came through on my phone, but she did show her call log and sure enough, it showed they called me around 8:20. My friends and I probably would have stayed to eat here originally had we been given a more realistic wait time guesstimate. An hour and a half wait vs 3.5 hours is much more feasible. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I've always enjoyed Anejo.

Greeted and sat right away- 5 of us. Hostess nice, server nice. Right away had two large bowls of chips and two types of salsa brought to us. Chips were good, just added salt. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. And we were patient, super patient. It was a Friday, but it was not overly crowded, like I said - seated immediately around 7:40. Drinks, took over 30 minutes for a pineapple one and three skinny- we joked the food would arrive first, but we were very wrong. Then, the waitress waited for us to try- I think it was a newer person at the bar. We tried to like it, but somehow it tasted like flat sprite.our server took them away and made us them herself. Now, those were great. Small side of guac was brought after that- meant to go with the meal, but we were so hungry we just ate with the chips. It was very good- fresh tasting. Then we waited. And waited some more. Asked about the food, then waited some more. Finally, we cut our losses and asked for the check minus the food that never came. The band was starting next door and we wanted to celebrate the bday girl. Pic 1, text just after 8pm- shows me joking that I was going to eat my friends food since she was headed over from next door and taking a bit and we had ordered 10 minutes prior. Pic 2, text shows us giving up- 9pm. So over an hour wait on food that never arrived - even if busy that would be a deal breaker. We were excited to try it too- disappointed.
