I met up with a group for Taco Tuesday At Cantina Louie the Atlantic Beach location. Specials inside $2.99 tacos, drink specials and half price apps before 6:00 PM. We ordered a bunch of apps to share including queso and guac. I ordered a shrimp taco and chicken taco. Bus tacos were good. I enjoyed the guacamole as well! I also had a mango margarita. Our server had her hands full with our table of 12. So service was a little slow plus the restaurant was also busy. I would go back to this Cantina Louie location for Taco Tuesday.

I just have to say I have eaten here for years and years and I have never gotten a bad meal! Let's just start with the salsa and chips! They are my favorite and all of jacksonville. It is the perfect amount of spice and salt in that salsa and I crave it continuously! Haha! The food tastes amazing and it's such generous portions that you have some to take home and enjoy later. You can't go wrong eating here!

One of my favorite Mexican spots around town. Love their chips and salsa but I especially enjoy their street corn shrimp quesadilla. It is by far my favorite item on the menu. I do also really enjoy the Buffalo shrimp taco. I have never had a bad experience at any cantina Louie! And don't forget to order your to go margaritas!

Taco night on Tuesday is amazing for just $2.99 and $6.99 margaritas These are gourmet taco and NOT the typical chickens and beef tacos. For anyone that loves taco Tuesday this is the jam. Service is fast and the bartenders are very attentive with a good vibe. I had the blackened scallops and the grouper and each one was very delicious. ***one thing to.note is that Happy Hour is every day rom 2-6pm with $5.99 margaritas and 1/2 off appetizers.

Service was a bit slow but food was good and no real complaints. Not even complaining about service. Just spent like 10 minutes idle after finishing food

Another date night favorite! The food and drinks are always delicious, never disappoints! My go to order is the pomegranate margarita and the quesabirria tacos. The servers are kind and the food comes out fast!

Decided to stop here for a quick early lunch. Restaurant was clean and open showing the same consistency for the other locations in the area. Service was efficient and the servers were super friendly. They all worked as a team to get all patrons served super fast. Tacos were flavorful, chips were warm and fresh. The drinks weren't too strong at this location. Overall everything was nice and I would definitely return.

Always a consistent meal there. I like that they add and put new things on the menu and have specials. It definitely has evolved over the years. It's one of the best budget priced restaurants in the area also with good outdoor seating. Food comes out fast! My only one tiny thing is service to actually get someone to get your order or retrieve drinks from the bar can be patchy.

The young man did a great job, I wished he would gave me the option of getting sugar around the rim of my drink because the drink was very salty. My husband drank tasted like water and he had a Long Island. The food was not great in my opinion. My food tastes plain, no seasoning even when I added the sauce options that were given. My husband stated his food was very salty. The ambience was very nice, the music was also great as well.

The atmosphere is really nice, the customer service is great as well. The food and drinks are underwhelming. My Long Island tastes like water and coke mixed. The undertaker was very salty. Which could be the rim but they never asked my wife if she wanted sugar rim or that it came with a salt rim. The American tacos were too salty and my wife stated her food was plain

I had the opportunity to experience Cantina Louie for a work event and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I loved the ambience and decor. It was very bright and festive but mostly what surprised me was the quality of their food and drinks. I got a spicy margarita which was amazing! It was super tasty and had a kick to it! I loved the drink! Their taco specials were also a steal. I tried their surf and turf taco and the veggie taco. They were absolutely stuffed and were super filling. I am always about a great deal, so this was definitely one of them. Definitely coming back with the fam!

Greeted and sat right away- 5 of us. Hostess nice, server nice. Right away had two large bowls of chips and two types of salsa brought to us. Chips were good, just added salt. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. And we were patient, super patient. It was a Friday, but it was not overly crowded, like I said - seated immediately around 7:40. Drinks, took over 30 minutes for a pineapple one and three skinny- we joked the food would arrive first, but we were very wrong. Then, the waitress waited for us to try- I think it was a newer person at the bar. We tried to like it, but somehow it tasted like flat sprite.our server took them away and made us them herself. Now, those were great. Small side of guac was brought after that- meant to go with the meal, but we were so hungry we just ate with the chips. It was very good- fresh tasting. Then we waited. And waited some more. Asked about the food, then waited some more. Finally, we cut our losses and asked for the check minus the food that never came. The band was starting next door and we wanted to celebrate the bday girl. Pic 1, text just after 8pm- shows me joking that I was going to eat my friends food since she was headed over from next door and taking a bit and we had ordered 10 minutes prior. Pic 2, text shows us giving up- 9pm. So over an hour wait on food that never arrived - even if busy that would be a deal breaker. We were excited to try it too- disappointed.

I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.

I ordered the Wet California burrito with steak, and it was mostly rice and beans with very little steak. The "wet" was just queso poured over the top and onto the plate. Chips were unsalted (which I didn't mind), and the salsa had a bit of a pinch to it. Unfortunately, I woke up the next morning with a bad stomach ache and didn't feel great while eating the food.
