One of my go to menu items at Wawa are the Panini's and they are usually consistent. I was able to stop by the beach Boulevard location and ordered my regular Panini and shake combo. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst Panini I've ever had from a Wawa. I took one bite and didn't finish the rest. The bottom piece of bread was rock solid and the turkey that was put on my sandwich rolled into a big ball in the middle. I genuinely have never had a Panini this bad in the 3+ years that I've been ordering them. It's time for the kitchen to step it up at this Wawa location! read more

To start, i want to talk about the menu. It was rather boring and nothing seemed apealling to me. That should have been my queue to go somewhere else. After going through the menu a few times i ordered a basic chicken bacon ranch sandwich and got a half gallon of Borden Dutch Chocolate milk. The Chicken sandwich however was very disappointing. Let's break it down The bun was cold and stale. The 3 very tiny stripes of bacon was also cold and stale. The chicken itself was reasonably fresh but definitely didn't stand out. The lettuce tomato and cheese was what you would expect. I would say tasteless but it was smothered in Mayo. L9ng story short, I paid 7 dollars for a 4 dollar chicken sandwich. Basically I could have went to my Donald's, ordered a MC Chicken and had them add the BLT and been happier. Can't really use "it's a gas station" as an excuse cause Buccees and Sheets are gas stations that blow this place out the water. read more

I decided to stop at this Wawa location to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. I've always heard how good Wawa's food is and wanted to see for myself. Originally my expectations were low, because...well.....its a gas station.... First and foremost, you order your food from a kiosk and the menu can be easily navigated. They begin serving lunch at 11:00am. After making your order, you walk over to the cashier and pay for your food. After about five minutes, my sandwich was prepared. This location happens to be conveniently close to my workplace. Wawa serves pretty good Coffees, Lattes, Milkshakes, Subs, Soups, Salads, Doughnuts and pretty much anything you want. Their Empanadas are pretty good too. And the employees I have interacted with were very friendly and attentive. Wawa is one of those special convenience stores. Not only can you purchase gas, snacks, beer and soft drinks, you can also purchase pretty good fast food. I was so excited to see the new Wawa a few blocks from my house. Wawa is a Pennsylvania company that I first encountered in Reisterstown, MD. They generally have the cheapest gas and pretty friendly service. I stopped buy to pick up a quick dinner. They were offering a $5 special for a junior hoagie and a small side or soup. I used the electronic ordering pad and selected the spicy Italian which came with pepper relish, garlic aioli and some other toppings that I selected. And I ordered the corn chowder soup. All of the ingredients on a sandwich for fresh including the bread. I really enjoyed the pepper relish and aioli as it added a very nice flavor. The corn chowder soup was delicious! It had little pieces of potato and chicken. Jesse completed my food order. She was so pleasant and introduced herself. I told her I'm close by so she will be seeing me often LOL! read more

Not amused. I was pumping gas when I realized there was broken glass everywhere on the ground! The last thing you want to see around your car tires is something that can give you a flat! The other side of my pump had the most glass & i felt bad for the truck that had just left. As I was taking pictures- I stepped on a large piece of glass! The aww h3ll no came out of my mouth. I . Love. Wawa! What more can I say? I was in love with Wawa when they trickled down from New Jersey (where they originated) to Virginia (where I'm originally from). When I moved to North Carolina, I was heartbroken they weren't there. I took advantage of Wawa every chance I got on return trips to VA. On my first visit to Jax about three years ago, I discovered they were here. Not gonna lie, it's part of the reason I moved here. Sounds silly but it's true. Wawa's gas prices are fairly competitive. You can typically get gas for a cent or two cheaper than surrounding stations. Their convenience stores are clean and well-lit. They also have delicious food. You can either order at one of the kiosks or preorder on the mobile app. If you sign up for the free rewards card, it's easy to rack up points and earn rewards towards free coffee or fountain drinks or a discount on food. I'm addicted to their Diet Half & Half (lemonade tea) but wish they sold it in the half gallon size like they do at their VA locations. I like the Beach Blvd location. It's a few miles away from home but I'll gladly pass other stations to get my almost daily Wawa fix. The employees are always friendly and everyone's wearing a mask, including most customers. There's another location further down Beach on the opposite side that I frequent as well. Most stores are consistent as far as service. You can't really go wrong with any Wawa you visit. read more

The kid working at the substation was an asshole. The only reason I came to Wawa was for the gobbler sub, and it was not appearing on the menu screen. I asked the young Hispanic kid working there and he rolled his eyes and said to just order the turkey and gravy and he'll put the stuffing on it. Making sandwiches isn't rocket science, unless you're a worker at this store. After numerous visits with over a 25 minute wait for meals, I have no choice but to try warning others. The workers don't seem to care at all about the customers. In fact, I've witnessed several different occasions where workers loudly complain about how bad their job is in front of a group of customers. If the job is so bad, why not just leave instead of making us all waste our time? There are several other Wawa locations down the road and they're infinitely better than this one. Please don't even bother giving this place a try. It's not worth it, especially for the quality you get in return once the food is eventually made. Any size at all for only $1 and they have almond milk and many flavored non dairy creamers with about six different coffees to choose from. Don't order the food on Uber Eats. They don't have half the ingredients for items they advertise on the app and don't even call to substitute items. Ordered a few items and received things like a empty sandwich bun for a hot roll and a flat piece of egg with a bunch of random ingredients thrown on top for an omelette. Ordering from here is a shot in the dark. You either get things relatively correct or a meal that looks like a middle schooler who is illiterate made it. i visit this Wawa location 3-4 times per week. always a great experience until today. Andre the Assistant General Manager needs extensive Customer Service training. Andre apeared bothered, dismissive , unwilling to engage with the Customers. when I asked a question about electronic cigarette flavors he said you can go look for yourself...I explained I could not see from the other side of the counter; Andre sighed and begrudgingly the walked over to look and rattle off what was available. i then requested a very specific pack of cigarettes and did not realize he gave me the wrong kind until after I paid. when I pointed out the error, he sighed again. he then pointed to the cigarettes I wanted and I confirmed. Andre then pulled the pack, held it within 8-10 inches from my face and said "are these the ones?" not a helpful gesture but rather a passive aggressive way of confirming he had the right cigarettes. if this is his approach to helping guests, Andre needs to be kept away from customers..... disappointed. read more

I love going to Wawa, but have noticed fewer and fewer customers wearing masks, despite the displayed signs. It's getting worse, as at least half of all customers ignore the mask mandate. Wawa is fast becoming petri dishes for COVID. Employees could care less,. which is sad because when they get sick, they're generally getting by paycheck to paycheck. You'd think management would be concerned with their employees' health, but this is obviously no big deal to managers.
