We enjoy going to this five guys often. It is the closest one to our home. They are one of our favorite spots. They do a great job keeping the seated area clean. You order when you first arrive. The drinks are self serve. They do have free peanuts any paying customer has unlimited access to. Once your order is ready. You have to go pick it up at pickup location. I have never had a bad meal here. I have almost everything on the menu at least once. Of course the large amount of seasoned fries you get is our favorite part. One serving is so large. You can't lose with free peanuts to hold me over while my burger and fries are being prepared to be piping hot! This 5 gizzle is open and spacious with ample parking and seating in a full plaza. I usually order online so that I don't have to wait but to my surprise there is no line. Staff was friendly and pleasant as I heard many laughs with patrons. I ordered the little cheeseburger, regular fries, and a cup of water. Burger was about delicious and fries were awesome like the sign says. Very filling on this tasty treat of a meal. My only gripe if I had one is the price is steep. I so wanted a vanilla or strawberry shake but that would push the meal to $20, sad! I didn't get cheated on my fries which is usually the case and I have to request a couple more so that was great. One negative is a what appears to be a coke machine that hasn't been serviced as it sputtered and spit out what was the equivalent to coffee grounds. 100+ flavor drink machine is a slick upgrade from 5 Guys past. Plus, my stomach was leading the way out of hunger. LOL! I love the welcoming atmosphere; the quickness of the crew members; and the quality and quantity of food provided per order. Today, felt like he wait was a little longer but, that's because my stomach was low key inpatient, LOL! The burgers are humongous - to me. Even the little burgers. Been a fan of this five guys store ever since it opened but something was off during our 5-17-18 PM visit (hence the 3.5 stars rating). It was rainy all day so expected the crowd to be very thin which it was. Immediately walked up to the register and placed our order - 3 little burgers and 1 five guy fries. There were maybe 2 other tables occupied and one customer order ahead of us so I was pretty surprised that we waited 15-20 minutes until our number was called to pick up our order. Conversely, the goods included 3 juicy burgers made with fresh ingredients, a clean eating area, and a consistent burger order taking process which ensures that the burger is made just right. This is a good place to get a decent burger with fries - their milkshakes are yummy and I recommend the banana shake in particular. read more

I have been eating at Five Guys for many years. Five Guys started in Northern VA, and they expanded to my old hometown of Baltimore around 2005/2006. This location met my high expectations of Five Guys quality. I went at lunchtime so they were busy, but I didn't wait long for my order. The burger was juicy and fresh and cooked to perfection! The ingredients added much flavor to the burger. I'm obsessed with the cajun fries and they were hot and tasty. The store was clean with friendly staff. A good burger. Ah, yes the eternal search for the perfect combination of beef, bun, condiments and veg - toppings, we'll call them toppings - is something we've all experienced. (Saying "Vegetables" on a burger just sounds wrong!) I can't say for certain that Five Guys has the "best" burger, but it definitely has a good burger! When I'm jonesing a burger I head over toward that Red & White goodness. The burgers are fantastic! A "little" burger is a single beef patty, a "regular" is two and you can order as many beef patties as you'd like. Cooked well-done. Cheese or not and bacon or not. The condiments and toppings are listed on the sign above the cash register. Not all toppings are created equal - some do cost extra. There's no limit how many or how much. You can load it up. Be warned though your burger may be too big to handle - a good problem. Ketchup, mustard, mayo, bbq sauce, A-1. Tomatoes, pickles, onions (raw or grilled) mushrooms, green pepper, etc. you get the idea. All burgers are served on a sesame seed bun and can come with fries and a drink. Get the fries, you can thank me later. Fries come in two sizes, small or large and two flavors - Five Guys style which is plain or Cajun style - my favorite which has a great, spicy seasoning added to them. They'll fill your bag with fries and then more fries! Besides burgers Five Guys offers hot dogs, BLTs and a grilled cheese sandwich. The dogs are good but come on, you know you want a burger. They've also started offering milkshakes. As if they needed anything more to get people in the door they now offer delicious shakes. Cherry is my personal fave. We went to the Five Guys Location @ Beach Blvd/ Hodges Blvd in Jacksonville Fl. The food was good but way over priced. The ordering experience could be much better. My husband ordered a regular bacon cheese burger, at the end of ordering the girl asked if he wanted 1 patty or 2. He said 1 which got him the jr burger. She did not explain anything. And the tip craziness. There's a big jar on the counter plus the payment screen asks for a tip too. For what, we walked in, ordered at the counter, made our own drinks, got our own condiments, we picked up our food and we had to clean our table before sitting down. Great Place for a burger in Jacksonville This location is on the south side of Beach Blvd in a building near the Chick Fil A. It is in a separate building with several other businesses. It is in the middle of a parking lot for a Target and other places so there is plenty of parking. The store is laid out like most other Five Guys with the black and white and red color scheme and dark, tiled floor. There are tall tables as you walk in the door, booths to your right and a counter along the window. You order at the counter and then take a number that they will call when your order is ready. You can get peanuts to tide you over while you wait for your order to be freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly and professional. It took about 10 minutes for our food to be made and our number to be called. We ordered hamburgers, fries and drinks. The burgers were very good. The fries were excellent. The tea was good. The tables and restaurant was mostly clean. The price was reasonable for the amount of food that you receive. Waste of time and money. I placed an online order, I was told my food would be ready by a certain time and that they were doing curbside delivery so to call when I arrived. I arrived a few minutes after I was told my order would be ready by, and called. I called 5 times. No answer. Decided to go inside. What a shit show. Staff standing around and looking completely clueless. Not a single person acknowledged me. It took 20 minutes for someone to actually check on the status of my order. I even saw the manager standing around. They looked at me a few times and not even a hello or a can I help you. I work in food service as well and if myself or my other coworkers treated someone the way this staff treats guests, I'd be absolutely ashamed and mortified. Upon walking in, he greeted me with a welcome hello behind the cashier counter and ask if I was ordering a single or double. I replied single. He said great. I will get that started. Upon a few calls to his "accomplice" which I thought was catchy, she came out with a smile. I order the single with sauted mushrooms, mayo, mustard, and lettuce(on the bottom, which he did!)She asked if I wanted fries, I said sure; then ask if I wanted a drink and if I wanted to up size it for thirty cents more. I agreed on the drink but not the upsize. So that was the best of the experience. The customer service. The burger was just yuck. I apologize but that's the best way to describe it. Really just wanted to put this location on the map for other burger fans, since it's tucked into the shopping center and not always obvious from Beach Blvd. They did a nice job. Much better than the Five Guys outside Philly I tried a few years back (the one that also left me not eager to return). The food is fast but fresh and I like the fries, even though a regular order packs in more fries than you need. All that said, I could just as easily get a burger at Times Grill, Chili's, or a few other places, so I'd go back, but it's not a fanatical thing. Four stars. read more

Well the people in the restaurant must have gotten there shortly before I did because it still took a beat for the food to come out. No biggie; that's what smartphones are for. I went with the Little Bacon Cheeseburger & the Little Fries. Even with the 'little' fries they still dump the customary 'extra' in the bottom of the bag. But now that 'little' is an option, it's just the right amount. The burger was cooked well & satisfied the burger craving I was having. I had never been to Five Guys before. I was suprised to be so disappointed! I found the burger bun & meat to be dull - barely better than Wendy's(!) from what I can remember. I did not expect a burger as superb as those found at the best steakhouses, but I certainly expected something with a decent beef pattie and a decent bun. The hot dog was ridiculously mediocre for $4. I could see that it would not be char-grilled, but I had hoped that this relatively pricey hot dog would have more snap; again, the bun was utterly low-grade.
