Stopped by BurgerFi on a Saturday evening, and it wasn't too busy. I was able to place my order shortly after arriving, and with the minimum crowd, the food came out pretty quickly. It was hot in the dining room, so my dinner partner and I attempted to sit on the patio. He made it out, but I was stopped and was told the patio was closed. No reason was given, even though the employee acknowledged how uncomfortable it was inside. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. The food itself was good and consistent with what you'd expect. What did stand out, was the change in the drink setup. They used to have a Coke Freestyle machine with tons of options. Now it's been replaced with a standard fountain dispenser with limited choices, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, the food was good, but the experience fell short this visit. It's been several years since I've been here so I thought I would have some lunch there while I was in the area. I feel like the quality has gone down. I'm not sure what's going on with these burger places lately but it seems like no one is seasoning, their beef. I'm staring at you Five Guys, Culver's, Smashburger, etc. It just seems the beef has no flavor to it. Also, I'll order the cry-fri and you only give you like three onion rings. I walked into BurgerFi today as a new patriot, I've never tried their food. I came on my lunch break and went to the counter, ready to use the self-serving tablets. Instead I was interrupted by one of the workers Willie and he offered for him to take my order for me that alone really set the tone for my visit today he informed me about their lunch special, which is what I went with and that was definitely a great choice throughout my 40 minutes there it was a busy lunch, rush and the same gentleman. Willie was so helpful and kind very attentive to all of the customers brought out food to everybody's table and also helped me clear my table when leaving the food was good but his service was better 10 out of 10. read more

The burgers were great. We tried a Szechuan Black Angus Bacon Stack with Kimchi and a Cheeseburger with grilled onions. They were cooked perfectly and really delicious. The fries/onion rings not so great. Some of the breading on the onion rings was so hard you couldn't eat it. The inside of one came off all in one piece. Some of the fries were great, but some were super greasy & not very warm. It was odd having to wait for fries but there was great disparity in the degree of cooking. The staff was nice & apologetic. One gentleman said they definitely shouldn't be that way. Not all of the flavors of soda were working. The root beer was clear like the syrup hadn't been connected to the machine & there wasn't a large selection. The ordering was all via touchscreen and you get your drinks and go back to the counter to pick up your order. I don't think tipping is really appropriate when you do all the service yourself. Prior to this, I was only familiar with the town center location and I felt that it was hit or miss, so I wanted to give this location a try. I always get my burgers well done here since in my experience they have a tendency to undercook the burgers and I want to see ZERO pink. I waited about 20 minutes for my burger after placing a pick up order in the store. Wait time wasn't great, but not terrible. I could tell all the employees were doing their best. The place is large and has plenty of seating. My burger was super good! Cooked well done just how I like it, came out hot, exactly what I expected! Greasy dripping Onion straws. 3 pickle slices. And the burger. 3 oz burnt beyond recognition. Im not sure how they get away with selling a 3oz burger. It is simply the size of a Burger King burger but with less flavor. Smashed to death on the flat top to eliminate any semblance of moisture. This is barely a burger and up there in the top 20% worst burgers I have ever received. The photo in the menu shows dressing but mine came with none. I've heard a lot of things about this burger establishment that I had to go and try it. If you follow then you know I'm a HUGE Carolina Jax's person but I must say Burger Fi didn't disappoint. I ordered the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger and my burger was cooked to perfection without them even asking me. The Bacon was in between really crispy and soft so you can basically just imagine perfection. The cheese was perfectly melted on to my burger that the only time I saw my burger was after every bite. My date ordered the chicken sandwich and she said it was really well put together and tasty. Sorry guys my date isn't detailed oriented like I was with my burger...LoL..... We then had their large fries with Parmesan cheese and some kind of white sauce (my apologies for not remembering) but it was fantastic with a side of ranch to dip them in. Wow my mouth is salivating as I'm explaining this. We also ordered the Large Onion Rings and these were ginormous and the tasting of these was orgasmic. Her and I ended our date with a Cookies and Crème Milkshake which was basically the icing on a cake! I'm also a sucker for a nice area where you can sit and relax and enjoy your food and that side of Riverside is definitely and up and coming area. The staff was alert and helpful in my decision making (although I had pretty much made up my mind before entering).I ordered the Beyond Burger(no cheese,no onions), it was nice, not heavily seasoned and it was definitely freshly cooked. The natural fries were a hit and they were not shy with the order. They ran over/out of the container and were not over or under cooked. I also enjoyed the Peach Hi-C. Never had this before and it was a refreshing change. Overall, I would give my experience a "B+". read more

We were greeted upon entry and knew what we wanted. We headed out to the patio and took our drink. Patio was nice and clean but it was in fact 11:30 am. We waited a few minutes for our order. It is not a fresh burger or fries. When you have to wait for an order it should be fresh. We did not get a pipping hot burger or french fries. The patio atmosphere was quaint and friendly. Such a good cheeseburger! The bread was fresh and soft, with the burger patty being seasoned to perfection. The onion rings were huge and crispy. I really liked the garlic aioli which complimented the onion rings very well. I also ordered a key lime concrete that was super delicious. The tartness to custard ratio was right on the money. Had lunch today at Burgerfi in Jacksonville and while the food was good, the wait to order was ridiculous. There were 8 people working there when we went in. We got in line behind a large group and at the time, there were two cashiers taking orders. One of the cashiers finished taking an order and then became one of the people bagging orders. So, even though there was a super long line, only one person was taking orders at the register. We waited for about 25 minutes to just order our food. We waited another 10 for it to be brought to our table. All the while there were staff cooking and bagging and running the food but no other cashiers. I got the junior with cheese and my husband got an original hot dog. We shared the cry and fries, which is 3 onion rings and French fries. My burger was delicious. The fries were also delicious and cooked to perfection. The onion rings were a little bland and my husband didn't like his hot dog. He didn't like the taste of it at all. No military discount offered here. We would probably go to another Burgerfi in the future as I really enjoyed my junior cheeseburger. Hopefully, the wait won't be as long. read more

While waiting at the Jacksonville airport we decided to get a quick bite. The options were limited and we ended up at BurgerFi. They had a decent menu and seemed to be "fast" food. You order at the register and when your food is ready they will call your name. Sadly it took a solid 25 mins for us to get our food. So if you are in a rush this is not the place for you. The food was good and our fries were piping hot. There are 2 vegetarian options along with an interesting burger called "Conflicted Burger" which consists of one veggie burger patty and one traditional beef one. The burgerfi sauce is delicious and we enjoyed our order. Docking a star due to the excessive wait for our food.
