Love having a Miami Grill in the area that has tasty food and good service. Stopped in while in the area and grabbed lunch. Everything came out warm. I tried out the Mac and cheese bites which were really good. My club salad with chicken was really good too, I liked the ranch dressing. My husband got a gyro and it was really tasty with their tzatziki sauce. Miami Grill also has really good fries, might be some of my favorite fries! This is the first time eating at this restaurant inside. I was pleasantly surprised that the inside was very very clean and well kept. The menu choices have a lot of choices if you want to eat heavy or light. I ordered the Gyros wrap with beef and lamb with a side of fries. The food was well prepared and the ingredients used were very fresh. The fries have a coating on them which I'm not a fan of but they were hot and fresh. Miami Grill is a great place to go to get fresh made food. Don't come here if you can't wait for your sub to be made fresh or your other food, go to McDs and eat trash! Love the original Philly, it's my go to. Wings are great. Fries are terrific - you can get seasoned or Nathan's. I thoroughly recommend this place. We randomly went here after a trip to Target that lasted too long. We were starting to get hangry and then it was a downpour outside. We saw Miami Grill and I've seen people post about it before. We wanted to go through a quick drive thru somewhere after shopping and especially since it was pouring. We checked out the menu and my boyfriend ordered the cheesesteak with fries, and I got a beyond burger. We paid and were told it was a 5 minute wait. I appreciate that so you know it's fresh. The french fries were seasoned well and were delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed his cheesesteak and my beyond burger was exactly what I was looking for. We would stop here again! I finally made it out to Miami Grill and it took me back to my college years! They are still serving up crave-able bites and are open until midnight, with a drive-thru! We stopped in for a Friday afterschool treat and everything was tasty and kid-approved! We tried a variety of menu items including the Philly cheesesteak, gyro platter, chicken pita, crispy chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, jalepeno poppers, and their delicious Miami Grill seasoned fries! Everything was flavorful and it served as a treat for sure! When they opened they were incredible. Over the past year we have seen the contents of the Philly cheesesteak shrink. Tonight I pulled through and spent $9 for a "sub" that came out on a "roll" the size of a hot dog bun, and the meat did not cover the bread! I decided to pay Miami Grill a visit. They've been on my radar for a while. I was headed to KFC, but drove past and came here instead. I am glad I did! I ordered the cod Fish & chips meal and Ernie had the Philly cheesesteak combo. We also ordered two deserts to take home for later. Hence minus one star. I'm still in a nostalgic haze after this afternoon's late lunch at Miami Grill. When I was a kid, the opportunity of going to Miami Subs was empowering. The burgers, the cheesesteaks, and the fries provided me with a sense of comfort. Fast forward to November 2017 and lo and behold, the rebranded Miami Grill opened up shop in Jacksonville. After running errand after errand, I made the subconscious decision to relive my childhood memories and see if it lived up to the hype. The three stars are specifically for nostalgic purposes and the front of house cashier/runner/busser - this guy was awesome! My order consisted of the 10 piece wing (grilled) platter, which come with fries, a drink, celery and blue cheese. I never received the latter two items, unfortunately I'm just remembering this now! The wings were smothered in buffalo sauce and topped with onions and banana peppers. I'm not sure I would order the grilled wings again, but I was trying to be less of a fat ass. Stick with the krispy! The fries hit the spot and were exactly as I remembered. The rebranding is a complete whirlwind. There are beers on tap, bumping music, along with seafood and salads on the expanded menu. This new place lived up to the hype. The outside has dog friendly seating. The inside is all new and fresh design. The self help drink dispenser is not far from the register. You will order at the register as soon as you arrive. They will issue you a number plaque and deliver your food as soon as ready. The staff will also bus your table for you. The recipes of the good is simple and tasty. The proportion of the food was above average for the cost range. The onl flaw is maneuvering to the drink dispenser for refills is a bit a choir. The staff was all amazingly friendly. They were eager to help in all aspects of our visit. They cleaned tables as fast as the customer leaving for a quick turnover for available seating. Their Chicken Caesar Pita is such a treat! I swear it is some of the best grilled chicken I've ever had in my entire life!! My hubby loves their cheesesteaks, but after I gave him a bite of my yummy nummy pita, he wanted that the next time we ordered. It's not hyperbole! Had not been to a Miami Grill yet but definitely remember Miami Subs and how much we LOVED their food. This was awesome! It's not a "$12 for three people" kind of lunch (ie. McDonalds) but it was worth the money. We had wings, naked and hot, that were fantastic! Gyro was very good, seasoned fries just as we remembered: awesome. Original cheesesteak off the chart. Kids burger good too. Service was lovely. Kind, attentive and brought our lunch to the table. Cooks in the back very gracious and appreciative of the compliments we gave on our way out. It was 11 at night and we had not had supper yet, because we were traveling for our anniversary from out of town. We saw the reviews, but decided to try it anyway because we had sat in the drive through at Sonic across the road for about 15 minutes with no movement at all. We made it to the drive through and there was no one in line and we got to the window and only had to wait about three or so minutes for our food. Never again! I am so disappointed. I work nearby and have been coming in once a month and sometimes once a week since they opened. But, never again. The service is so erratic and the food is not much better. We always eat in and sometimes wait to be waited on and then wait even longer for our food. Usually the food is good and as expected. But more and more often it seems that they are either understaffed or don't care or both. After taking more than 30 minutes to get our food today, my grilled chicken Caesar looked to be about half the normal size, was lacking in croutons and dressing.
