I ordered the biscuit cheese and egg sandwich combo with coffee. Wife ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage and a Dr Pepper. The Dr Pepper was off, so one of the employees changed the syrup/carbonation and made it right. The coffee brew was slightly off as well, but that didn't matter as Ms. Joyce was serving up good old fashioned hospitality. She quickly brought us our food and asked if we needed spicy or regular ketchup. I'm thinking that when she's working, no number is needed, as she practically knows her regulars by name!

Messy messy messy. The burgers were squished and super soggy when we received them. The fries were cold. The vanilla shake had an odd taste to it. These guys were terrible when we went to pickup our online order. The order wasn't available until 15 minutes later. We ordered a chicken burger, double beef burger, fries, onion rings, apple pie, and lemon pie. The apple pie was the best part; nice and crunchy.

What could be more American than a warm and juicy burger fresh of the grill to celebrate July 4th? - Well, my wife and I thought Whataburger would be a great alternative. This one is about 15 mins from the house and about 5 mins from Atlantic Beach, Fl. - The location is perfect, closed enough for tourist and local residents as well. We come here about once a month and later enjoy a stroll by the beach. - Sadly, today we had the worst burger we ever had. The meat was cold, the cheese was not melted and bread was dried, the lettuce was not fresh and the Mayo looked watery. And on top of the the meat was over seasoned. I'm writing this review not to discourage anyone from stopping by, but for you to be aware and check your food before you leave the building. - Management should take a closer look at the quality of the food is being serve here. I bet not one of them would eat the burger in these photos. - If we come back here again I hope the quality of food is improved, that is if we ever come back. - It has been over 5 years since we had a burger from McDonalds, and 3 years for Burger King and Wendy's. We take our food seriously. If we do not like the quality of the food we simply stop spending our money on supporting a business that does not deserve it. - A quality product and exceptional customer service should be the priority of any business, especially in the food industry

Hadn't eaten here before and it was a good burger...a big burger for sure. The fries were the thin, salty and crunchy...just like I like it! M Shack had advertised, since the TPC was cancelled and they were a food vendor-their regular burgers were going to be $3 Friday- Sunday. We went after 1 pm, Atlantic Bch location on Sat. for a take out and the line out the door! (Also not taking phone calls or on-line orders) I mean a hour wait ....guess what the plain burger regularly ($5.39) is not worth my time so Whataburger to the rescue! Yes we paid a bit more but it was worth it!

Nice clean restrooms. The staff were kind welcoming and provided quick hot food! Real good experience

FIVE GUYS vs. IN N' OUT vs. WHATBURGER. Who do you got??? Finally tried Whatburger and my ranking is. . . Ill do this in reverse order of how I usually rank. 4). Others. Lots of parking in this location. No worries about that. 3). Atmosphere. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. This place is kept clean. No issues but In N Out I think has a leg up I think. I didnt get any vibe out of this location. Five Guys has a certain vibe as well. 2). Customer Service. Okay, bear with me here. I noticed one server working hard. The other one was busy handing out condiments. Not used to the condiment server but ok. The rest of the staff were just goofing around. They had personal stuff on several tables and chairs. Not sure why the duty manager would allow this. The two hardworkers were single handedly doing majority of the work. Agree with my fellow Yelpers on this. You dont get that at Five Guys or In N Out. One up for Whataburger. 1). Food. I just cant see what the fuss is about. The burgers are just average. Similar to what you would find at BK, McDonalds, or Wendy's. Nothing wrong with those 3 establishments as I go to those spots very frequently but I just dont see anything special with the burgers here. - the fries are average. Nothing to rave about. - nuggets. These were freshly fried. Happy about that. - lots of sauce options. Enjoyed the spicy ketchup though. I think most folks like this place because its nostalgic for them. But if you try to take the sentimentality out of the equation, this is just a regular burger place to me. Not in the same level as Five Guys or In N Out. My rankings: 3) Whataburger 2) ? 1) ? Check out my other reviews and my visits. You will see a close race between those two but I definitely like one slightly *very small edge* better than the other.

Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and they stand up to bigotry in their own backyard. You can't get much better than that. The only drawback (if you can even consider it one) is just figuring out a good time to arrive to avoid a line. Regardless, even if there is one, the staff moves through it quickly and efficiently. As Sub Cultured is a walk-up window, there's some outside tables to sit, as well as the option of sitting in your car for that car-hop action. Otherwise, you're so close to the beach and parks that taking your sandwiches for a picnic isn't a bad idea either. If you can't find parking immediately at Sub Cultured, there's a little shopping center just next door since there doesn't seem to be much for street parking outside of their handful of spots. All of that said, I'm a transplant to Jacksonville via the Navy since 2004. One of the biggest cravings that I have from back home is a real authentic sausage, pepper, and onion grinder. I can't even begin to describe to y'all how great Sub Cultured's is with that spicy Italian sausage and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. Add a little spicy brown mustard and you're all set.

Went here for lunch, requested to-go, ordered The Godfather with salt + pepper added, was ready in 10 min. You ever take a bite of food, take a deep inhale and just say "oh my god" to yourself? I HAD to try the spaghetti. I love hot dogs - I love banana ketchup - I love spaghetti! ... but together? Uhhhh... you only live once, right? So I ordered it. Was it good? Surprisingly, YES! Very. I get the hype. Their chicken is crispy and juicy and with a spicy option I was all in. Please open a location in Melbourne, FL. Amazingly, we did manage to find a table for our group however. The food wasn't quite as good as I remembered this time. In particular, the spaghetti was weak: maybe not enough sauce and hot dogs in it. Perhaps I didn't like the chicken as much either: the crust is really good, but my wife's gravy the other day was a lot better. I did love the biscuit with honey, though we had to request the honey, and they no longer have butter for the biscuits. The peach mango pie was good as usual this time, though it's possible I liked the biscuits and honey even more (though my wife didn't like them like I do). My wife told me to ask for a plate, and I got one, so we learned something useful for the future. They did forget the pie for our order, but gave us one no problem when I went up and asked for it. My wife reports that the ladies' room faucet no longer slashes all over the place. However both bathrooms still serve only one person at a time. Install some stalls! There was a wait for the men's bathroom. I didn't manage to get any loyalty points for this visit: I couldn't find a 23-digit code to enter on the web site. It wasn't on the receipt; I read that it's on a small slip of paper printed after your receipt, but I don't believe we got one. Next time I'll have to order from the web or app, provide my phone number when I order, or scan the QR code in the app at the register to make sure I get points.

It's a one-person operation, so service can be a bit slow, but the food feels authentically made with care. We ordered the 2 burritos, 2 tacos, and a drink deal. Burritos are medium-sized, comparable to Chipotle, and while one is enough for me, the full combo would just satisfy a bigger appetite. The burritos were a bit soggy and could've been more generously filled. The tacos were the stars -- palm-sized but packed with flavor. The tripa taco was perfectly fatty and crispy, while the lengua was soft and flavorful. I'd come back for the tacos over the burritos. Drinks are self-serve from a cooler in front of the truck. There are two self-serve salsas -- a fresh green one and a spicier red; I preferred the red for its kick. Price-wise, it's on the higher end for a taco truck, which might be a drawback for some. Still, the taste delivers. If you're not in a rush and want a casual, no-frills taco stop with strong flavors, Jalapeño Express is worth trying.
