Lately my wife and me have been been turning to low carb , grains healthier eating , we looked up this little place . Near the light house in Saint Augustine. They had an all natural really healthy menu items like free range eggs , fresh veggies, salad greens , fruit and veggie smoothies I mean you want healthy you got to go . My wife got the chicken salad it had a bunch of veggies like kale broccoli carrots peppers onions and a great fresh made beet vinaigrette she loved it she wants to go back to try the rest of the menu , my omelette was super tasty sauté fresh mushrooms peppers onions not greasy at all side of grilled roots , it's a home fries of carrots, sweet potatoes, and potatoes chopped in small pieces super light , they even had our favorite poppi drinks , service is simple you order and then you sit not to much sitting areas , also the place is simple out dated, Mostly walk in's , service is slow mainly cause it's all fresh made to order. This was a refreshing menu in a sea of touristy fried food and dessert places. It was just what I needed. I intended to get a healthy item, but tempeh reubens are my favorite, so I had to splurge. And it didn't disappoint! To make things a little healthier, I added the Sunrise Surfer juice. The sandwich was great, the tempeh was well cooked, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the rye was just the right level of toasted. I am giving 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1) I asked for a juice recommendation and told the server I don't like too much ginger. She told me she can make the Sunrise Surfer with less ginger. However, a fully sealed bottle was brought to my table, which makes me think it was not made to order. Low and behold, the juice had a strong ginger flavor. 2) When my sandwich arrived, it had chips and salsa on the side. However, I overheard the next person order and a different server asked what side they would like, listing a few alternatives to chips and salsa. Great suggestions, knowledgeable about ingredients (e.g. locally made tempeh), even delighted my toddler with a complimentary mini muffin that was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. After some days of festivities, we all decided to eat a bit healthy. We had a few smoothies, acai berry bowl and a tofu scrambler. The bowl and scrambler were the pick of the breakfast. I liked the way the fruits and berries were blended with honey and granula. Should be a no brainer, but I have several restaurants messing it up. This is one of my favorite places in Saint Augustine. We always come here for breakfast and often for lunch as well. We love their fresh juice blends a lot. It's a wonderful way to keep healthy while at the beach! For lunch we love everything they have to offer, from mushroom sandwiches to salads to ...I don't think you can go wrong! Creative Juices is located in a strip mall that was recently flooded by a hurricane. They've renovated fully and recovered completely, expanding their operation to take over the offices next door. This gives them a substantial dining room. They may still have seating at picnic tables out back as well--this area wasn't being maintained when I was there last but it was during the construction/renovations. The new dining rooms is a welcome addition and is pretty nice. It's definitely crunchy, granola style but a little more upscale and very comfortable. If you order in the food is brought to your table. I note that the big complaint that others had about CJ is the time it takes to prepare food. They prepare everything after you order so it's not exactly fast, but it's not that slow either. If you want fresh, this is just something you have to know going in. You can call ahead to place orders, by the way. One item I absolutely love is their breakfast bran muffins. I'm not a big muffin eating kind of guy, especially not bran ones, but these muffins at CJ are amazing! read more

We came to Creative Juices Natural Cafe on the way to my oldest sons birthday. We were searching for a healthy spot to eat and this really hit the bullseye. To start, the vibe is really laid back and mellow. The decorations are cool and give it somewhat of an island vibe. We were greeted right away by the cashier who was nice and asked if we had any questions. Our kids were being a little crazy so my wife took them to a booth where a pretty cool discovery was made. Board games! What a cool idea to have a mini foosball table, connect four and a shuffle board to kick back and play while you wait for your food. My kids loved them! Bonus star for that. For the food, everything was good with no complaints from anyone. I got the greek salad with chicken added and loved it! The chicken was melt in your mouth tender and the dressing was delicious. My 2 year old loved the chicken so much that he started to steal mine. I ended up buying another side. My wife got the hummus wrap and she complimented how great the tahini dressing was. For the little ones we got the quesadilla with chicken and both of them ate it right up! The chips that came with each sandwich were ok, just an added filler for the meal. To finish, would I come back and recommend Creative? Most definitely! So if you are in the St. Augustine area and are looking for a healthy spot to eat, try it out. It was a small delicious bowl that was a great start to my day. I found it more of a parfait than an açaí bowl as there was more granola than actual açaí. The granola was delicious though and Gluten free! I topped it with hemp seed, blueberries, strawberries, banana. Pretty delicious.
