Cute quick service place. Nice staff and easy bites. Reasonably priced. We got the Miranda taco, avocado toast(made with quac though) and their tots. Everything was great. My only suggestion would be to use fresh avocados instead of guacamole. Love the small outdoor dining area. Was nice on a Sunday morning.

Came here while waiting for my dog at her Dr appointment and so glad I found it! Everything is homemade and the coffee is just amazing. I got 2 breakfast tacos and they were so filling I could only eat one. I'll definitely be back here! It reminds me of a place you would find in Austin where all the tacos are authentic and delicious. I want to come back for lunch!

I've been waiting to try this place for months and I was not disappointed! The food is super fresh, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I got 3 different tacos and they all packed unique flavors. The lattes are delicious!!! Amanda was very attentive and helpful from ordering at the counter to meal execution. I will definitely be coming back!

Love love love this place! I felt like a tourist buying the mugs in both the blue and orange logo but it was worth it. Lol Holland took our order and served us. She was such a doll. Knew all her stuff about the menu, which is so helpful when it's your first time. She even made my matcha latte. We tried the fire from ice, fireproof (no queso), and squawk on the street (no pepper jelly). All the meat is so flavorful, tender, and delicately shredded. Oh I also tried the Mexican street corn. Drool!!!!! It was so amazing and refreshing. No mayo thankfully because that's gross to me. lol Disclaimer/suggestion to management: the passion fruit agua Fresca was so fresh however the lemonade tasted like tap water, my 5 year old said it tasted like rocks lol so that confirmed it wasn't just me. Hopefully you use filtered water because I love lemonade. We'll be back soon. May be our Sunday brunch spot

They make their own salsas! I can't wait to try the mild fresco, medium at tomatillo, and hot roja.

Their breakfast tacos are served all day. They have corn tortillas! The other location has a gluten-free blueberry loaf and this location will start to serve that eventually. As of January 2026, they are not sure when it will be available for purchase. The tacos taste fresh and everyone here is so friendly :-) there are three homemade salsas and so far the green tomatillo is my favorite.

What a great find, while we were shopping in St Augustine. Open for a little over a year, they already have a good following. Service is amazing and we were greeted promptly by Hollin, who went on to make several recommendations, since we were first timers. Plus the restaurant is extremely clean and there is plenty of room to dine in. But you want to hear about the food. Scrambled Eggs on your face - their biggest seller, and for good reason, Bam Bam - my personal favorite, bacon, egg, rolled in a pancake covered with maple syrup. GET THIS. Fireproof - my son really enjoyed this. Brisket Bowl - another solid choice for our crew. We really did not find anything bad, but we did have a few choices we ranked at the top. For me it was the Bam Bam, my son, The Fireproof, and my daughter lived her brisket bowl. Good find for breakfast or lunch.

Wow! What a great find! This was a really cool modern taco spot. Amazing super friendly service at the counter. Lots of seating and parking. The tacos I got were amazing! I can't remember the names but it was a chorizo breakfast one and the chicken lunch ish one. I also got the hash brown tots with chorizo and pepper jack. Everything was fresh and very tasty. I also got an iced latte. This is a great place to get some breakfast or lunch! I will be back!

First time here and was not disappointed. It was a modern and minimalist designed place, I asked for some suggestions since I couldn't decide and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the siracha sunrise but switched the ham for chorizo and it hit the spot coffee was complimentary. The drink selection was alittle slim and most of it was glass bottled items.

Service was STELLAR! Top notch very friendly inside was roomy and spacious. Food was not what I anticipated. I heard good reviews so I came, but tacos were definitely americanized. I thought or anticipated the food to be authentic. The salsa was good, but my open face taco was anything but authentic and I rate it a 3/10 I did not like the extra crunchy hashbrowns in it, nor the mexican blend cheese and for $4.25 that's steep for what it really was. I also ordered a bees knees latte that was good. All in all food for me was a 3/10 . Service 10/10 Cost 4/10.

The food here is unique and tasty, and the customer service is even better! The staff is So kind and the restaurants ambiance is so chill yet organized. My bowl had the combination of juicy brisket and flavorful chorizo accompanied by fresh pico on a bed of crispy hash. They have an amazing taco menu something for everyone!

This was our 2nd time here, first with kids. Original owners of Maple Street Biscuit Co opened this new concept, and we enjoyed it. Easy for a quick breakfast. Counter service only. We ordered an assortment of breakfast tacos: the scrambled eggs on your face, the Area 51, the Texas Hold 'Em, and the Bam Bam pancake taco for the kids. I really enjoyed the Texas hold 'em- the brisket was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. My husband mentioned the chorizo on the Area 51 being spicy but he enjoys spice. They make their tortillas fresh daily and press them as you order. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. It's a quiet spot with cute decor. Only addition I would like to see is more on the kids menu. Since they make the pancake tacos, maybe add a single pancake option to the kids menu or just some scrambled eggs and bacon.

I had heard great things about this place and it lived up to the hype. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Place is spotless. We were greeted at the entrance by Robin. She is not the owner but her enthusiasm for the menu items and the restaurant is very evident. She explained the ordering process and gave some recommendations. The food came out quickly and she checked in on us several times. Quick comments on our order: Strawberry mimosa was so fruity and delicious Duo dip and chips was the queso/guac combo which we both loved. We don't order a lot of queso because it isn't our favorite but this could convert me anytime. Squawk box taco was great, pepper jelly for the win. Corn salad was made with feta. I prefer cotija cheese. This was ok. Fire and Ice taco was straight up perfect. Great flavors. Great place!

Late breakfast- really friendly staff. Like watching them hand make the flour tortillas. Their salsas are homemade and very tasty- be sure to try them. The Queso was good. Worth a try. Churro Bar is a must try. Their special taco is a megas taco very good. Yep add that to the menu! We also tried the Eggs On Your Face taco and the MTD. For a restaurant not in Texas everything was pretty good. Still feel the breakfast tacos in Austin TEXAS are better. Must be their Texas seasoning. Definitely a restaurant you should visit.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

Antique, rustic, comfortable, and full of enough character that you almost feel like you've stepped 200 years back in time. Then the drinks arrive, and suddenly you realize you've been transported into the future of cocktails. I wish I could remember the name of the drink I ordered because it was spectacular. Whiskey, a little sweetness, mint, and crushed ice. That's about all I can tell you. What I can tell you is that I could have happily consumed about 30 of them, tumbled down the stairs, and been perfectly happy about the whole experience. My wife went with the Mojito, and it was brilliantly constructed. The crushed ice and layered mint made it look almost too good to drink. Almost. The drinks absolutely deserve five stars. Then came the blue crab beignets, and they were spectacular. That's the kind of appetizer that makes you stop talking for a minute because everyone at the table is too busy enjoying what's happening. Unfortunately, the rest of the food didn't quite live up to the cocktails. The fish dip was very average and lacked much flavor, and the menu itself felt pretty limited. So here's the deal: if you're coming to The Ice Plant for drinks, I would have no problem giving it five stars. The cocktails are that good. This is a highly recommended stop for a drink in St. Augustine. But I have to review the entire experience, and the limited menu and average fish dip bring the overall experience down a notch. Four stars. Come for the drinks. Stay for the atmosphere. Definitely order the blue crab beignets. And if you happen to find yourself three cocktails deep, admiring the antique decor while contemplating the stairs, maybe just take your time.
