Wish I was lying when I said I traveled all the way from San Diego, CA just to get my favorite taco of all the time... the 'squawk on the street'! Their breakfast tacos are served all day. They have corn tortillas! The other location has a gluten-free blueberry loaf and this location will start to serve that eventually. As of January 2026, they are not sure when it will be available for purchase. I really enjoyed the Texas hold 'em- the brisket was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. My husband mentioned the chorizo on the Area 51 being spicy but he enjoys spice. They make their tortillas fresh daily and press them as you order. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. It's a quiet spot with cute decor. I have a bell pepper allergy plus I am just starting to eat meat again and so there were things I couldn't have. They were like, we can put it on the side or substitute! They were so nice about it. I came at kind of a weird time, so there was ample seating available. I liked that they had three different salsas available in pumps to self serve to my heart's content. We stopped in today for breakfast after noticing the sign yesterday at the old Tijuana Flats! Such a cool spot! We ordered 3 tacos, a churro bar and coffee. Everything was delicious! They make their flour tortillas in house, right in front of you! They have a cool variety of breakfast and lunch tacos, as well as coffees! They also have a yummy, self serve salsa area near the coffee area. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming! There were a couple hiccups with our order (which is almost expected with a brand new business) The woman greeting by the door, check on us and promptly fixed our order and gave a tasty treat as well! They were just about to close so I ordered them to go. The food was ready quickly and even though I live 5 minutes away by the time I got home the food was barely warm and very soggy. The tacos did not look very good but were actually pretty tasty. The green sauce in the side was good. I found the tacos to be soggy with a mushy texture. Finished each taco in about 4 bites and I wished there was a bit more filling. $11 for two tacos that ate more like a snack than lunch.
