I asked for no cilantro, heard the lady at the window call for no cilantro on my named order, and somehow I still received cilantro. That was disappointing, because it essentially renders my food inedible, but once I picked off the cilantro, it was pretty delicious. The meat on the carne asada bowl was super tender, the salsa had a good kick, and the potatoes were crispy. My egg was over easy and not sunny side up like I ordered, but it was well done with no broken yolk, so that's a plus. read more

The sweetest staff and not to mention amazing food!!! I got the carne asada burrito without cheese and usually in a breakfast place that isn't my go to whatsoever. This burrito was delicious and had such amazing flavor I would 1000% get again! I also got a cold brew as well one of the ladies was nice enough to help me out with adding oat milk into it. You pretty much do it yourself when it comes to the coffee, it turned out to be delicious with a splash of oat milk and 3 pumps of vanilla syrup! You pretty much order your food up front and then find a seat, your food will be brought over to you when ready. The place itself is so cute and homey! Once again Yelp steered me in the right direction! This is literally a little hole in the wall( which I love!) super tiny, but we were able to sit at the counter and eat our meal. This is nothing but fabulous home cooking! There were two chefs cooking right in front of us the entire time and they did not miss a beat. I got the pimento cheese chicken sandwich and it was everything I wanted it to be! My fiancée got the Spanish breakfast bowl and he thought it was great! The food is always delicious and the portions are large. The variety is a little limited but they make up for it with specials. The service is friendly and the owner is normally present and working hard with her cooks. Its a small restaurant that is most suitable for take out. The parking can be a little tight but I have never failed to find a spot. I am giving them a 4 star only because if lack of seating options but everything else is easily 5 stars fir me. We are always on the look out for new places and this tiny little spot just opened a few weeks ago. Tucked away between Sweet City bakery and Muffs. Although new, this breakfast and lunch spot has a very experienced chef. If you like Back Forty, the Blue Hen, and a bunch of other local spots you will enjoy this menu. We sat up at the counter but there is also a few tables out front. The service is fast and friendly. My husband went for the Buttermilk Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich. We watched the chef dip this beautiful chicken breast in a homemade buttermilk batter and flash fry it. This sandwich was layered with the chicken, grilled ham, cheese and a Datel pepper sauce. Hubby ate it so fast I didn't even get a bite! He said it was delicious!!! I went for the Carne Asado hash. It was a perfect combination of seasoned pulled beef, caramelized onions, and potatoes. It is a cute little place where you can order at the counter and then sit inside or out with your food. The food was very fresh and the prices are super reasonable. The quality was so good, the sandwich was generous, the toppings were ridiculously good and the coffee was delicious. The other ppl said the same about theirs! The girl that assisted me was so kind, helpful and she made sure we had everything we would need, to enjoy our food on the go! It easily became one of our favorite, local places!
