This is the best food I have had in a long time! I love it here, starting from the vibes all the way to the service! They are so kind and always make their food with love! I could never hate the fresh tacos that they have here! Fresh food, amazing service, and a Hawaiin vibe. They also have beautiful art that I love to look at. I love coming here all the time. Nice, amazing people with amazing food. I recommend dating pepper tacos, Spinach wraps or just some plain beans and rice. It really is great food! Dont miss out on this food truck!! read more

THE BEST TACOS EVER! Don't let the foot truck fool you, this is the best place in St Augustine. I dream about them all the time and stop in whenever I can. Bobbi is great and always remembers you, just love them! The fish is always fresh, flavorful, and consist. I tried the Big Kahuna this time and don't know why I've never ordered it before. They really know what they are doing here. There is plenty of outdoor picnic tables and the surf shop has great finds. Very laid back place with quick service. Normal wait time is 10-15 for the freshest food. Sometimes there is a long log for ordering, but the staff here works quickly to get the food out to you. Stop on in, this place is habit forming. read more

Awesome service! Smiles & cheer. Yummy tacos, steak was flavorful datil pepper was a perfect addition. Honestly everything was delicious I devoured them in a short span of 10minutes. Only thing that was flavorless was the rice. Other than that all was good, ambiance is outside what more could you ask for. read more

If you haven't tried the Tropical Fish Tacos yet, what are you even doing with your life? The mango-pineapple salsa is basically a vacation for your taste buds and pairs perfectly with that fresh trigger fish or unicorn fish. This place is hands-down one of my favorite island lunch spots! The owners? Absolute gems! They are so friendly, so genuine, and clearly on a mission to make sure every bite is perfection. The menu's packed with crave-worthy choices, all made fresh and full of flavor. Oh, and bonus points...they're super pet-friendly! Ask nicely and your furry sidekick might score some homemade tuna jerky. Talk about island hospitality! read more

Disappointed I drove all the way to get lunch here and they were closed over an hour before they were supposed to be.

Great food, flavorful and fresh. It takes a bit of time to get your order during busy periods, but it is so worth the wait!

A St Augustine classic. Very friendly service. Fresh seafood with a South of the border flair. read more

The original and still the Best food truck in the oldest city. Great local food, one of the Must haves in the Nations Oldest city.

I have been going to and recommending Nalu's for many years. The staff are always super friendly and the food comes out fresh each and every time. Do yourself a favor and go to Nalu's if you are in the area! read more

Had the catch of the day tropical taco with rice and beans (which were beautifully presented and the best I've ever had), and the chicken tropical taco with chips and salsa. Loved both salsa and both tacos. Both tacos were SO fresh. Service was very fast and friendly. This is a food truck with outdoor seating. Loved the food here and would definitely go back. read more

Fantastic experience overall. The food was fresh and very delicious. The seasonings enhance the food flavor very well and they combine spices for unique flavors. Very small portions and the corn chips were unfortunately stale. Maybe good for a light snack.

Something like a solid three or four. Was camping next door and needed a break from campfire cooking so gave them a go. Why not? Wasn't feeling like driving into town. Was something like $28 for two tacos and a burrito, no drinks, small tip. Nice looking plump tacos. While everything was fresh and I appreciated the exuberant hospitality, I found the food to be something of somewhat plain; even with the salsas. Also not a fan of thicker, harder chips. Ended up giving away most of it, just wasn't feeling it but maybe that's me. read more

Found this food truck by chance after visiting Anastasia State Park. We decided to return the following day to pick up ahi tuna after looking at the menu. It's open from 11 to 3 and seemed to be a popular lunch option for locals in the area. Ordering at the truck was quick and easy; they also allow you to order via the Clover app in advance. The truck is located off A1A and has plenty of parking. In addition to ahi tuna plates, platters and sashimi, they sell different pork/chicken tacos, burritos and sandwiches as well. I had the plain ahi sashimi which came with seasoned rice, fresh tuna slices, and cabbage, soy, wasabi and pickled ginger. I also tried some of the hot sauces they had available at the counter. The raw tuna was great. Although would have been even better with some sort dipping sauce or rice vinegar. The next day we orders the big kaguna whi h came with shoyu poke and Cajun seared ahi tuna. So good! Everything was flavorful, perfectly seared and seasoned. Definitely recommend this place if wanting fresh fish in the area. read more

This was a great place to stop for lunch. Found parking in a lot just across the street. Super friendly service and a covered picnic bench to eat at. I enjoyed my Baja fish tacos and my husband had the Hanalei Bomb shrimp burrito. We left fell and satisfied. There is also a coffee and shaved ice truck in same parking lot of a really cool surf shop. read more

The wife and I got the Tropical and Shoyu Poke bowls. The fish quality and freshness was as good as it gets. The Shoyu tuna gets my vote though, with a little soy and sweetness to amp up the tuna. The Shoyu bowl is heavier on onion as described on the menu. I like that but if you're less inclined to onions, you should opt for the Tropical bowl. The pineapple salsa is the star of that bowl. The marinade balances out the pineapple sweetness just right. The rice was sticky and tasty, and there was just enough cabbage to give it a little crunch. We put a little dipping soy on the side and grab a few shaves of sushi ginger every few bites for a very excellent meal. One final comment, on first blush I was a little concerned, given the size of each bowl. I then recalled the price $10/bowl and adjusted my expectation. The quality more than made up for any size concerns. I figure next time (and there will be a next time), I'll add some tacos or sashimi and keep the bill under $40 for two. read more

Drove to St. Augustine from Winter Park to spend the day with family that was visiting down from NY. When we left Orlando it was 82 and sunny and here we were, stopping to grab some food before exploring and it's windy, 64 degrees and starting to rain... how?! Needless to say, if it wasn't for the delicious food at Nalu's we may have considered the whole trip a complete fail. My daughter, niece and I all ordered the ginger marinated steak quesadillas, I got mine with rice and beans and they got theirs with chips (nachos). My other niece got that ahi burger. The ginger steak was delicious! Great cuts of steak so that you didn't bite in and get those uncomfortable chewy cartilage pieces. I was so hungry and could only literally finish half the quesadilla. If I find myself back in St. Augustine again, this will surely be a stop! Parking is limited here as this is a food truck sharing a lot with other businesses. It's worth finding a spot for though! Staff is friendly and welcoming, and they do have one picnic table for dining there. It was too chilly, so we ate in the car . read more

Solely on the Secret Spot Shrimp Tacos, I was a little disappointed. I'm an avid taco diner, so I always migrate to tacos on any menu and Nalu's taco was a bit of a let down. The shrimp itself was delicious and well seasoned, but for the price and complexity of the taco it wasn't worth it. Stuffed with just raw cabbage on top, shreds of cheese, and a drizzle of Baja sauce for $9.50 was meh. The meal came with a side of chips, which I didn't care for since it didn't automatically come with salsa as I thought. (Extra $1 for salsa) Would definitely come again to try something else from the other good reviews. My boyfriend got the shrimp quesadilla. In his very simple brief review of it: Is very good. A Flagler College alum wholeheartedly recommended Nalu's to us, so of course we had to check it out on the way into St. Augustine. The Tex-Mex menu is pretty extensive, with sea creatures and land mammals and veggie options, but since a growing line was forming behind us, we quickly decided on the specials of Baja shrimp tacos and tropical shrimp tacos. They were around $9.50 each. You place your order and then just wait until your name is called. There isn't much seating, just two picnic tables behind the truck. Even though you're sitting in a parking lot, handpainted pieces of wood hanging on the fence add charm to the dining area. It did look like most folks were toting their orders away from the area. The tacos were quite impressive. I was satisfied with the amount and size of shrimp in the tacos, cooked perfectly too. Instead of lettuce, there was cabbage. The mango pineapple salsa was lovely. There's a little kick to the tacos but nothing a spice wimp such as myself couldn't handle. I opted for the rice and beans side instead of the chips, and they were pretty delicious as well. Maybe a little expensive and I wish Styrofoam containers weren't used, but I certainly wish I lived closer so I could try more of Nalu's menu items! read more

The fish tacos are amazing. He adds purple cabbage for that extra crunch in the taco.

Awesome Baja fish tacos! Love this little food cart near surf station, and they've maintained amazing quality for many years. Honestly the last time I ate there must've been 5+ years ago, but not a thing has changed except an expanded menu. The tacos are filling but definitely get two + the included sides for a full meal. Also love how quick the service is! Pros: Fish tacos Hot sauce (Valentino's) Service Cons: Price - $9.50 for two tacos and a side is a little expensive, especially when other places have similarly good tacos nearby for cheaper read more

On Yelp it indicates this truck serves Hawaiian food. I expected pineapple and loco moco and cole slaw. This isn't that kind of Hawaiian. I had the ahi poke bowl, so did my sister and niece. The ahi was good. I liked the rice but it didnt stick together so wasn't the easiest to eat and it was very yellow. The cabbage was cabbage. What would have really made this dish good is seaweed salad. My niece went back for sashimi so I guess she enjoyed the fish. Service was ok, about what I would expect. I'd go back but I don't think it was 5 star good. read more

Whether it's the tacos, nachos, or burritos, I've never been disappointed. Every trip to st augustine I have to stop here. The beef, fish, and chicken are all great. It just depends what you're in the mood for. Their pinto beans are like refried but even better. I'm not a major hot sauce fan but I always use the orange sauce at nalus on my nachos, tacos, and burritos. Decent priced and speedy friendly service. It's right next to the surf station so you can wander around there for a couple minutes if you get antsy while they are making your food. It really a great lunch! There are picnic tables to sit at on nice days but usually we just order and bring home to devour. read more

Fresh and healthy food truck located on the side of the Surf Station right by the entrance of Anastasia State Park is where you'll find this treasured spot that tourists and locals go crazy for. Very fresh poke bowls and light seafood bites are served to you with upmost care and wonderful customer service. The corner seating area is lined with some art pieces that offer it the artsy vibe it embodies. The sauces are great and I can tell they take great pride in their food because I can taste the love. The menu is portrayed in the front so you can take your time and glance before making up your mind on an item. The prices are great for the high quality food they serve and I enjoyed my meal very much so I'll gladly be back when I return to the area. It's definitely worth checking out. read more

Stopped in after exiting Anastasia State Park I have driven by this place several times and decided to drop in and try them out. We ordered two beef tacos just for a snack turns out it was an excellent choice the presentation although was in a styrofoam container was very appealing to the eyes. The taste was fresh make sure to get plenty of napkins they are a little wet but not soggy. They offer several bottled hot sauces which were tasty as well. I will definitely stop in again and try a few of their other offerings. I can see why this place is so popular so they earn a solid 3 stars. read more

Nalu's is pretty good. There is a steady flow of people coming through for lunch or early dinner. The lady at the window is friendly. They have a veggie options. The hubs got Tropical Tacos. They were really good especially with the mango on it. I got the Pipeline Burrito (vegetarian). Not bad. It was mostly beans. I was hoping for more greens in there. They added red and green salsa and avocado. That gave me the crunch I was looking for. Almost wishing I got some fish tacos. Next time. Surprised they had picnic style seating. read more

We stopped here on the way to the state park. The food was fresh and tasty. Menu choices is surprisingly large. Yum!

Stopped here for a quick bite before a concert at the amphitheater and I'm really glad I did. I got the chicken quesadilla because it was easier to eat while walking and it was surprisingly good, crispy tortilla and quality chicken. Their Baja sauce was awesome too. My wife is vegan and they were very accommodating. She got mango salsa on hers (with no regard to the suffering of farm raised mangoes) and reported a pleasant taste journey as well. 100% worth checking out. read more

Lately when I want a beach trip, I make the trip to Anastasia State Park and either eat Nalu's on the beach or on my way home. The food is fresh and the menu has a lot of variety. This time I had a poke wrap which had tuna, rice, a sweet soy sauce, and cabbage. It was fresh and a perfect lunch for a beach day. They also have a spot to eat behind the food truck with umbrellas so it's shaded, and is next to a beautifully decorated picket fence. Perfect for Instagram photos ;) read more

Poke bowls reasonably priced and super fresh. Fish tacos were out of this world. Cool art too.

Not Hawaii. Went here because of the reviews but we were disappointed. We went here for the Poke on our way to the beach so I can't speak to the other dishes. We ordered both types of Poke: Shoyu and the Tropical Poke. I can say that the tuna is fresh, but the seasoning was just lacking. The Shoyu was not consistently flavored throughout, really salty in some spots and just bland in other spots. The tropical Poke had Mango, but the combo of the mango and onion was weird. My friends and I took a day trip to St. Augustine over MLK weekend. We arrived at lunchtime and decided that the first order of business would be food. I suggested Nalu's, having read the Yelp reviews, and we were not disappointed. First cool thing was that it was conveniently located right near the entrance of Anastasia State Park, which is where we were headed anyway. I ordered the spinach wrap burrito, which I was vaguely worried about as I am generally not a fan of burritos or fish. Fortunately, it was delicious. One of my friends ordered the fish taco, which she seemed to enjoy greatly as well. She was also a big fan of the sauce that came on top of our side of beans and rice. (Sorry, can't remember what my third friend ordered! But he liked it too.) The only complaint I might have is that the rice that came with the beans and rice side seemed a bit dry and hard. The rice inside the burrito, on the other hand, was incredible. My only regret was that I became too full to finish the entire thing. I think Nalu's will become a regular pitstop for us whenever we're visiting the beach. Oh, and one of the reviewers mentioned that they only take cash, which seems to no longer be true. The guy there swiped our cards using his iPhone. (There's an app for everything!) read more

You are not a resident of St Augustine until you've gone to our original food cart. Located in the parking lot of the Surf Station, this places dishes up the best fish tacos I've ever had. And the Baja sauce is PERFECT! My favorite? I'm a basic girl, I like the Pier Right with Beans & Rice and then while my food waits I go stroll the surf station real quick.
