A St Augustine classic. Very friendly service. Fresh seafood with a South of the border flair.

Fantastic experience overall. The food was fresh and very delicious. The seasonings enhance the food flavor very well and they combine spices for unique flavors. The owner goes above and beyond with his food and his customer service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new!

Something like a solid three or four. Was camping next door and needed a break from campfire cooking so gave them a go. Why not? Wasn't feeling like driving into town. Was something like $28 for two tacos and a burrito, no drinks, small tip. Nice looking plump tacos. While everything was fresh and I appreciated the exuberant hospitality, I found the food to be something of somewhat plain; even with the salsas. Also not a fan of thicker, harder chips. Ended up giving away most of it, just wasn't feeling it but maybe that's me.

Found this food truck by chance after visiting Anastasia State Park. We decided to return the following day to pick up ahi tuna after looking at the menu. It's open from 11 to 3 and seemed to be a popular lunch option for locals in the area. Ordering at the truck was quick and easy; they also allow you to order via the Clover app in advance. The truck is located off A1A and has plenty of parking. In addition to ahi tuna plates, platters and sashimi, they sell different pork/chicken tacos, burritos and sandwiches as well. I had the plain ahi sashimi which came with seasoned rice, fresh tuna slices, and cabbage, soy, wasabi and pickled ginger. I also tried some of the hot sauces they had available at the counter. The raw tuna was great. Although would have been even better with some sort dipping sauce or rice vinegar. The next day we orders the big kaguna whi h came with shoyu poke and Cajun seared ahi tuna. So good! Everything was flavorful, perfectly seared and seasoned. Definitely recommend this place if wanting fresh fish in the area.

This was a great place to stop for lunch. Found parking in a lot just across the street. Super friendly service and a covered picnic bench to eat at. I enjoyed my Baja fish tacos and my husband had the Hanalei Bomb shrimp burrito. We left fell and satisfied. There is also a coffee and shaved ice truck in same parking lot of a really cool surf shop.

Drove to St. Augustine from Winter Park to spend the day with family that was visiting down from NY. When we left Orlando it was 82 and sunny and here we were, stopping to grab some food before exploring and it's windy, 64 degrees and starting to rain... how?! Needless to say, if it wasn't for the delicious food at Nalu's we may have considered the whole trip a complete fail. My daughter, niece and I all ordered the ginger marinated steak quesadillas, I got mine with rice and beans and they got theirs with chips (nachos). My other niece got that ahi burger. The ginger steak was delicious! Great cuts of steak so that you didn't bite in and get those uncomfortable chewy cartilage pieces. I was so hungry and could only literally finish half the quesadilla. If I find myself back in St. Augustine again, this will surely be a stop! Parking is limited here as this is a food truck sharing a lot with other businesses. It's worth finding a spot for though! Staff is friendly and welcoming, and they do have one picnic table for dining there. It was too chilly, so we ate in the car .

Solely on the Secret Spot Shrimp Tacos, I was a little disappointed. I'm an avid taco diner, so I always migrate to tacos on any menu and Nalu's taco was a bit of a let down. The shrimp itself was delicious and well seasoned, but for the price and complexity of the taco it wasn't worth it. Stuffed with just raw cabbage on top, shreds of cheese, and a drizzle of Baja sauce for $9.50 was meh. The meal came with a side of chips, which I didn't care for since it didn't automatically come with salsa as I thought. (Extra $1 for salsa) Would definitely come again to try something else from the other good reviews. My boyfriend got the shrimp quesadilla. In his very simple brief review of it: Is very good. Lmao

Restaurant was easy to find and close to our hotel, plenty of parking. When we walked up, the views were nice as it's on the water. Nice signage. We walked in and were able to get seated inside right away (it was raining out otherwise we would have sat outside) but they sat us at a window seat so that was nice. Our server came by soon after, was attentive and friendly the rest of the evening. Appetizers - We ordered the gator tail and calamari. That must have been THE most tender calamari I've ever had! The breading was also very good and light - and the pepper sauce they give with it... wow very good! The gator was also very tender and good! Entrees - I ordered the Butter Rum Scallops and my husband ordered the Shrimp & Grits. My first bite of my entree was heavenly... I REALLY enjoyed it. It was sooooo good. That butter rum was something else. Scallops were perfectly cooked. My husbands was very good too - great flavor!! The grits were perfect. Then we ordered a Key Lime Pie to go (way too stuffed to eat it there lol!) but when we had some later that night... probably our favorite key lime pie ever! The consistency of it was like jelly like and it was SUPER good! Overall - a 10/10 experience here! Would definitely come back and hopefully on a nicer day so we can sit outside with the water views.

Bar was hopping, live music. It's giving outdoor tiki which we loved. Food was decent, on par with every other seafood restaurant in Florida. Our waitress was great. On to the negatives - the hostess stand and or management is disorganized. Came up at 8:20 and asked for a table of 4. We inquired about an over water tiki hut and were told they stop seating those at 8pm because it gets dark. That's fine. Was told a 45 min wait, we agreed to join the list through yelp. We asked for first available, indoor or outdoor. On the plus side, the wait ended up being closer to 30 mins. However, there were tons of free tables the entire time we waited. Tiki huts were empty. The whole inside only had 2 tables sat. We asked to see a menu while we waited and got an audible sigh and eye roll. When our table was called, the hostess called 4 other groups at the same exact time, leading to a lot of confusion. As we are sitting and eating (it's now 9:30) a couple walks in. They're led to a table on the patio and asks to go into a tiki hut instead, which they are promptly sat in after they clean it off. So we asked our waitress, what's the deal! She said oh just ask the hostess and they can put you on the list for those huts. So not sure what happened. Overall- ambience 8/10 Food 7/10 Service (waitress) 10/10 Management (hostess) 4/10 Not sure if we'll go back because of the disorganization, unnecessary wait times, and rude hostesses.

We started with the Chili-Lime Shrimp, and that dish alone set the bar high. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a spicy chili-lime garlic sauce that had just the right kick. The miso butter emulsion and sweet soy tied everything together with a rich, slightly sweet finish. The Poke Tuna was fresh and vibrant--sashimi-grade ahi tossed in a cashew-citrus ponzu with red onion, cucumber, and seaweed salad. The fried wontons added a nice crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. The Mediterranean Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The combination of green olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, goat cheese, and garlic worked really well together on a crisp crust, giving you a savory bite with a hint of tang. The Surf & Turf Fried Rice brought bold flavors to the table. Tender beef tips and shrimp sauteed in a spicy chili glaze over vegetable fried rice, finished with fried garlic, chili oil, miso butter, and sweet soy--it was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked just right--tender and juicy--paired with creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a decadent truffle sauce that elevated the whole dish. Beyond the food, the service truly stands out--warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel taken care of throughout the entire meal. They also offer an excellent selection of wines, beers, and spirits, along with a solid dessert lineup that's worth saving room for. To top it all off, there's plenty of parking available, which is always a bonus in a busy dining area.
