The place itself is adorable and service was great! The chocolate and white chocolate chai tea was decadent and like getting a cozy hug with every sip. Some of our party ordered from the buffet for $30 and some of us ordered a breakfast off the menu. The idea of all the breakfasts being served on a board is super cute but not at all conducive to a large party like ours. It would be perfect for couples or tables of 4 but for our large party of 12 it was a little silly as we all had to pass around the board to get our food. But it did make for a beautiful photo. The buffet was OKAY at best and not worth the price in my opinion. The gravy was very watery and bland and the pasta salad also had no flavor. The waffles were delicious though so you just had to find what's good to you. I ordered the basic breakfast with sausage, over medium eggs, and it comes with potatoes and a biscuit. Both my sausage and eggs were over cooked. I love a slightly runny egg over potatoes but my egg was over hard and some.. brown on one side and had lots of that crinkly plastic-like edge that nobody wants to eat. They have a huge espresso machine so I'm sure their lattes are delicious. I'd be willing to go try it again but it definitely wasn't my favorite brunch place. read more

husband found this place for breakfast, it's nearby to our hotel. The doco inside is very nice, modern and classy. The menu is extensive, be prepared for a lot of reading to do. This was such a wonderful find! The atmosphere is great, very relaxing. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!! The cheese grits are absolutely the best grits I've ever had - with 6 of us in our party we were able to share them, as well as the Bruncharcuterie boards we had (honeyed brie, zesty pimento and the cinnamon sugar trio). We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time and we were greeted by the owner and treated like old friends! We tried some different menu items (though we had to get those grits again!!) and everything was fantastic! My friend has a gluten allergy so she had to send back her hummus (it had crackers) but it took like 15 min for the hummus to come out. I guess the chickpeas take some time to mash up. I ordered the French toast and sausage, and my husband ordered the steak and eggs. Our orders came combined in one board. Individual boards would have been cuter, I think. Visited St. Augustine and found this gem by pure luck. I tried other "recommended" places around the small town, yet this one had the best food. I tried the French toast, and my partner tried the ham and cheese croissant, they were pretty tasty and both came in one long board (charcuterie board style) which made it easy to share. Have brunch and/or breakfast here over the other "popular" spots. Also service was amazing, but it was the same anywhere we went. Absolutely terrible service. We put our name down about two hours ago, and the "Owner" Troy said it would be within an hour and hour and a half and stated he would call me if closer than the time given. We showed up an hour and half later to check in. Troy, the manager, and a woman server to tell us they were closing even though the sign stated they closed at 4pm. The manager stated, "oh sorry I just got so busy." Troy told us, they would not be serving us even though we waited the time he told us to wait and never told us they were going to close. I had mentioned that, I wish he told us about this so we could have made different plans, instead of waiting and he then said, "oh I got so busy." Absolutely terrible service and no care for the people they are serving and the time they wasted. At about 1PM, I received a call from the restaurant about the mistake they made and how they would be happy to serve us. We are at a different restaurant now which is happy to serve us. I would be aware before putting name down and ask more questions before making arrangements about your trip. read more

Once I was about to go fetch it myself another waiter realized why we are not eating and brought it to us. The food was waffle house grade but for a lot more money. Disappointed. This place was just the cutest place I've ever walked in. Nestled on a side street with other cute shops around. You're welcomed by friendly faces and a warm welcoming smile. The decor in this brunch bar makes it feel like home a little bit of grandma's feel where you know everything will be alright and the food will always be great. What I love most is how their food comes out on a charcuterie board plated in perfectly and cooked with love. Unfortunately, prices are simply so overpriced that we will never return. I'm including a photo of yogurt that cost $12. It was supposed to have granola with it, and it did not. It was lightly lined with oaks at the bottom of this very tiny 'bowl'. Only a few pieces of fruit were added at the top. Our chai lattes were priced at $5 on the menu, but then we were charged an extra $1 on the receipt for milk. How else are you supposed to make this drink if not for milk?? Food comes out on a board and it was awkward for my party of 4 who kept reaching over for food. Portions were small. Service was slow for a weekend morning, and we left hungry and broke. I know this is Saint Augustine and you get caught in tourist prices, but this one was the most outrageous of all of our dining experiences. read more

We sat down for about 10-15 minutes before we were rudely greeted. We never got her name and saw her twice in the almost hour we were sat there. When she did greet us she bluntly asked, "do you guys know what you want?". During our time there, another couple sat down and got their food before they got any kind of drinks and saw their server all of about 3 times. Food was good and so were the drinks but the atmosphere and service were terrible. When it was time for the check that was the second time we saw our server and she proceeded to hover over us waiting on payment. Horrible! First off, the server was great. We ordered two eggs, potatoes and sausage dish along with three pancakes. The pancakes came out black, the eggs were supposed to be medium, were hard, the potatoes had so much seasoning you couldn't even eat them, and to top it off the sausage was flatter than a terrible restaurant, burnt and dry. We ordered coffee and they told us they had run out. Served us a cappuccino with what tasted like sour milk, terrible! The women's bathroom was out of order, however, they didn't tell you this. Two of us stood in line before we realized that the men's was open. The paper dispenser did not work so towels were everywhere. The bathroom cleanliness was marginal. We were not happy with our experience, as we wasted an hour of our time and hungry - they did however, offer to remake our food, which we rightfully refused. The outcome to our dismay, they had us pay for our 2 terrible cappuccinos. Horrible experience, we left hungry without eating. Adorable cafe right off St. George street! Started our day here, initially sitting outside but Florida weather had other plans. As it started raining the employees were quick to help us move inside & cleaned a table off for us. First off, brunchuterie board? Yes please! Genius idea & perfect to share! We were only one of two/three tables there and everyone could hear them, specifically the bartender, talking about his tip from a customer that was still there! Awkward! The staff was whispering and laughing while starring at guests at an uncomfortable level. The food was cute but just okay. The $12 bacon was oven baked and dry. The $8 small slice of quiche was in itself outstanding. $4 latte was good and fairly priced. I get that the rent in that District may be extremely high, but there are lots of other breakfast places that give you a heck of a lot more food with a lower price (Sweetwater Cafe one block over comes to mind).
