Hands down amazing waffle! I want to come in with my own maple syrup on one of their plain waffles. It was perfect, the cappucino was great too. Service was excellent !! We stopped in near closing, nonetheless it was great service! I will be back

This place was awesome! They have the best waffles. It looked pretty cool in there. Yum yum.

I love this place! My favorite is the Bella Fonte - a waffle with Nutella and strawberries with whipped cream on top and it's absolutely delicious! They have a lot of milkshakes and stuff as well which I have yet to try. The service is always really great and quick! It's a small dessert store in the historic st Augustine area with a few high top seats, perfect stop for a quick dessert!

Logan provided an excellent customer experience. He was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations! Food was great and the facilities were very clean

Definitely go to Cousteau's Waffle & Milkshake Bar! They have great flavors of ice cream and different types of waffles that tasted amazing. We had the delicious Mint Monster Ice cream and the incredible Belafonte Waffle. It was a nice treat coming from the beach. The vibe and the themes in the store is perfect. It was busy but Noah served us in a timely manner. He made sure to thank us for our patience. We were Impressed with his performance and service to the busyness of the shoppe. We will absolutely go to Cousteau's again!

Cousteau's waffle and milkshake has a variety of ice cream flavors and treats to choose from. Handmade waffles and handmade milkshakes here! I ordered the matching pajamas : Two halves of a waffle sandwiched around your choice of ice cream, dipped in chocolate. I had the Andies chocolate mint chip ice cream and to be honest, the ice cream was the stand out of the treat! Staff were friendly and the ambiance was quirky but cute.

We've been here twice for dessert and love it. Plenty of easy parking and comfortable seating area in a clean and welcoming space. Love having this so close to our home - we will be back again and again!

Let me start by saying I am not a huge milkshake/sweets person. I came here because a friend recently told me about the amazing decor and how the entire business is themed after Wes Andersons movie Life Aquatic. I left with a delicious milkshake! It was a little confusing finding this location. We first came to the location in downtown St Augustine. This location has some themed decor but nothing like their beachside location. The decor is actually pretty amazing. I really enjoyed looking at all the pictures and hand painted Murals. The associates were friendly and helpful. They have handmade waffles, hand spun milkshakes and just simply icecream if you don't want it all. The milkshake options all sounded really tasty. If you love milkshakes this is the place for you. I got a espresso milkshake. I also purchased a hat, sticker and shirt because the theme is pretty epic :)

If you are looking for a unique dessert experience in a Wes Anderson themed location, then this is the place for you! However, you don't have to be a Life Aquatic fan to appreciate Cousteau's. I am not traditionally a milkshake girl, but upon reading the menu I was willing to make an exception. I ordered the Ping Island (no whip) which was a combo of chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow and graham crackers. Amazing mix of flavors. Even though I'd just eaten dinner I downed this shake like it was my last meal . My friend opted for a waffle treat - the Whirlybird - with an apple compote. If you don't want bells & whistles, there is a wide selection of ice cream available by the scoop or pint. Fast, friendly service to boot! It was 1000% worth the calories! (We went to the Beachside location).

We glanced at the menu and ordered at the register. Bring cash! Helps local businesses keep more of their profit than paying high service fees for card payments. 3% charge for card swipes. I love the cash payment way over cards anyday but I'll leave that for a forum discussion. We sat outside and food arrived promptly. Ratings are as follows: * Kids Pancake 10/10 (fluffy, air, tasted like vanilla it was delicious. *French Toast 4/10 I could be wrong but I thought the menu said cinnamon roll on a brioche bread. Not sure tasted like regular white bread flat and not cinnamony. * Kids egg breakfast 10/10 she left nothing *Coffee regular self serve 10/10 dark roast! Delicious and fresh Total $37 could be because I paid with card since I only had a $20 on me. Nonetheless great spot, friendly service, and I loved the outside space.

The venue is on A1A, right by St Augustine Beach. This was our first time there. They serve food but we had dinner beforehand, so we only had drinks. It's a nice little venue though. The show itself was awesome and Mick was so nice to meet afterwards! Why am I giving a 5 star review when we didn't even try their food? I'm at fortunate to know a few people that many would consider to be famous in the world of music. I have tagged along with them when they've done meet & greets at venues of various sizes from hundreds of fans to thousands of fans. Many, MANY venues handle these things very poorly. It ends up leaving fans feel as if the artist doesn't care about them when it's actual the venue that is unprepared and/or is treating the fans that dirt. That was absolutley NOT the case at Cafe Eleven. Every person we encountered from the staff seemed genuinely concerned with making sure the fans had a good experience. For us, this started a week prior when they took the time to email us to double check something about our order because our order was a bit odd. My wife paid for part of the order and our friends paid for the other half. The venue actually took the time to reach out to make sure we knew everything needed to match up. We did know that ahead of time but the fact that they even bothered was a touch I don't think I've ever heard of another venue taking the time to do. Well done Cafe Eleven! Based on that alone, I wouldn't think twice about driving down from Jacksonville next time there's an event at Cafe Eleven that I'm interested in.

I had the coconut shrimp (the house made pina colada sauce is out of this world!) and the cheesy grits (which were hands down, very tasty). My husband had the mahi, pair with garlic butter shrimp and conch fritters (he had the mac and cheese which was to die for). We enjoyed a nice view of the beach from the second floor deck! They offer breakfast daily in the morning which we will have to come back and try sometime!

On a busy Friday night, we started at the bar for cocktails and were immediately welcomed by a friendly, upbeat bar staff. At prime dinner hour we put our name in for a table and, to our surprise, were seated on the outdoor patio with that spectacular beach view in about 15 minutes. Service was excellent throughout -- attentive without being intrusive -- and the food was terrific. Highlights for us: Fish spread -- outstanding and rivaled some of my longtime local favorites in both quality and flavor. Grilled buffalo wings -- cooked perfectly. Fried oysters -- excellent appetizer. (order two of the sauces) Cajun Fried Shrimp Po' Boy -- very tasty (my only small suggestion would be a little more remoulade sauce, it was nearly absent). Nashville Chicken Sandwich -- my wife loved it; spicy and delicious and not overcooked.. A fun surprise: this was the first day they had tables actually set up on the sand, which I think is a fantastic addition. It may make things a little tougher on the servers, but for beachgoers it's a wonderful option. The live music was very good -- this has always been a fun place to hear local musicians -- and the performers that evening did not disappoint. It was a touch loud for conversation on the patio and we were sitting quite aways away from the band, but many enjoy that energy. If you want a quieter meal, dining inside may be the better choice. A particularly nice touch was the manager stopping by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. That level of attention says a lot. The place feels professionally run. Prices are a little higher, but in my opinion the food quality is a step up from the old Palm Pavilion -- and frankly, what do you expect for a front-row seat on one of the nation's #1 beaches? Thank you, Crabby's Beachside -- we'll be back.

Therefore, this gets a long wait for breakfast/brunch. It's hard to get a parking spot but there's free parking across the street. They have a big waiting area next to the restaurant which is definitely needed as we ended up waiting like 45 minutes around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the burrito smothered with sauce and cheese and the flavor was fantastic. Flavorful but not super spicy or anything. It's also HUGE. Highly recommend. Service is a little questionable, if it was quicker they could probably help with their long wait. It was hard to flag down our girl when we needed something & it took ages to get to check.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.
