To be fair I only tried the huevos rancheros seasonal waffle and should have went with something sweet. The image had a sunny side up egg with avocado. What arrived was scrambled eggs that seemed ti come from a carton and no avocado. The cornbread waffle was meh at best. The sweet waffles that other patrons received looked amazing. On to the staff... the young man that was at the counter today was kind. But the other two older ladies were overwhelmed and quite rude. Delicious little place right on the main shopping street. My friend and I enjoyed sitting by the windows and people watching (though some people were watching us because our waffles looked so delicious) I ordered the main strawberry one. Super fluffy waffles with lots of strawberries and cream. Total yummy sugar bomb. I think I'd have preferred fresh strawberries (which they have) instead of the ones in the syrup, but I didn't realize until after I ordered that this was what came on it. I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake waffle and a Root Beer "Float". "Float" is used generously because they add whipped cream to a soda of your choice and then call it a "float". I know the description says it comes with Chantilly cream, but I had interpreted it as a float in the traditional sense (ice cream + soda), with whipped cream on top. It wasn't bad, by any means, but it certainly wasn't a float -- definitely more a cream soda by the end. We got the classic waffle with Nutella and strawberries. It was $13, and the waffle was tiny, about 6"x6"- so not great value. The Chantilly cream and Nutella on top were SUPER good but the waffle itself was gummy- it had no crunch and was hard to cut into. It took about 45 minutes for us to get it, and there was only enough space inside for about 15-20 total people to sit comfortably. In that 45 minutes I saw 0 people wash their hands. The place was pretty loud inside because they were blasting country Christmas music so you couldn't always hear the staff calling out your order number. Will never eat here again. For 3 people, 3 meals, and 3 drinks, it was $57 (before being asked to tip, of course). If you're hungry and want food soon, I recommend going elsewhere. read more
