I've been once. We hit it up around noon and ordered breakfast. I had the Fajita Omelette and my sweet Mel had a build-your-own omelette with mushrooms , onions, spinach, and Swiss. Both omelettes were very large and came with choices, I got grits, Mel got home fries. The omelettes were great. Mine had plenty of chicken, an adequate portion of jarred salsa, and plenty of peppers and onions. I'd have liked to have seen tomatoes included. I'm sure I could get that on request. Mel's omelette was loaded with mushrooms, and while I didn't try it, she reported that it was quite good. The grits and home fries were good. Overall, the food was a solid 3, the service tacked on the other star. Gail was great. She was very attentive and offered all the right things at the right times. The 20oz juice portion is a welcome option in a world of small juice pours, but it clocks in at $6. Total ticket, including a 16oz OJ and a coffee, was $49. Maybe I'm just giving boomer vibes, but that's steep for breakfast. The portion sizes were sufficient for both of us to have another small meal off each order. In summary, I recommend this place for a breakfast/brunch (they had a small menu of alcoholic drinks for the brunchers), in spite of the sticker price. I'll be back. read more

Our experience started with the female restroom. It was the worst I've ever experienced. I would rather an outhouse. Three women waiting to use one working toilet only to learn there was no more toilet paper. We all walked out. Management was informed, a second try resulted in still subpar conditions. No paper towels, TP still all over the floor. Next was our waitress who was so rushed it made us anxious. A guest at our table remarked that it felt like we were putting them out just for being customers. Multiple times, the waitress walked away so fast from our table we couldn't finish our orders. Water please. Basic customer service wasn't followed, no cream and sugar delivered or even offered. The tea cup was delivered with a half empty cup of water. We were hoping for a nice relaxing meal but instead we couldn't wait to leave. Keke's food is always good and the kitchen did do a great job today. However, no food is worth the obstacles we faced from start to finish. We eat out often and have experienced some times when someone is having a bad day. We give grace, as we all need it at times. Providing a bad review is never our go-to action. This experience tops the chart of bad experiences. read more

We have a couple of locations where we live in Kissimmee, but our first experience with Keke's was in St. Augustine. Very nice atmosphere and the staff was extremely friendly. They offer a full menu for breakfast and lunch and the portions are huge. I got two pancakes and only ate half. We will definitely visit Keke's in the future read more

I was doing some shopping in St. Augustine today around lunchtime and decided to give this place a try. I was quickly seated and brought my drink and a menu. The menu is pretty extensive, covering both breakfast and lunch. They have all of the standard breakfast items, as well as paninis, wraps, salads, and burgers for lunch. I went with the Carolina Salad. It had fried chicken, bacon, tomatoes, cheese, and iceberg lettuce, accompanied by honey mustard dressing. It was the perfect size portion. It reminded me of other breakfast places we've been to .We walked in the hostess was a bit off , she did not greet us we were the ones to say good morning, we felt a bit odd , we even looked at each . We also noticed it was not to busy at all even though it was in a prominently corner spot in a open Mall . Food was good but took over 30 minutes to come out and me and my girlfriend noticed while waiting for our check ( which also took 15 minutes to get) that one of the employees I'm pretty sure the manager had check slips in the back of her pants like going straight to her skin back there. visited Keke's three times while on vacation. I wish there was a Keke's near me in MA. The food was delicious. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Our waitresses, Kennedy and Layla went out of their way to see that our dining experiences were enjoyable. The hostess ( I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but she has pretty, colorful streaks in her hair) was an absolute dynamo.She started with a warm welcome for us. I also saw her clearing tables, sweeping floors, and doing her best to seat people quickly. Very impressive. The young fellow clearing tables even came after us on our way out because my husband had forgotten his sunglasses. All in all a very clean place, delicious food and friendly, exemplary staff. The 1st time in - we sat for almost 20 minutes and nobody came over and it went downhill from there we left - This lady visit was almost as bad - My wife wanted to give another chance - The 2nd Time - we sat almost 10 minutes and nobody came - I asked a passer by waitress if someone could help us - a couple minutes later a girl came - a long time later we got water and placed our order - the only time we got water - never got a refill - food came - wife's was hot - my omelette was warm with teen ee tiny little tiny pieces of onion, green pepper and ham - it was colorful - not very filling though for the price it should've been chunkier - The place is beautiful inside but again - mediocre service. This appears to be a decent sized chain in Florida only. I had to bring my mom to stay with my sister in New Smyrna Beach, but sis meets me half way in St. Augustine. On previous occasions I picked places based on yelp reviews and our experience was just ok. This time my sister picked as her and her husband had eaten here before. Well, sis nailed it. Our entire experience was amazing except one mistake that actually turned out good. So, mom, sis and I sat in a booth with what felt like a granite counter top. My sister already had a table, she got there first. My mother is 93 and not real ambulatory, so it's a process getting her inside at a table. The menu is large. The coffee is good. It took our order a little while as the place was extra busy. Our server, Mary, was also from the NY area so we hit it off. Service was excellent as servers checked and chatted with us. The atmosphere is a higher end IHOP, but everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. My mother usually gets pancakes, which benefits me because she doesn't finish and she shares with me. Her buttermilk pancakes had a hidden surprise. The bottom pancake was chocolate chip! Later when chatting with a manager I assume, she told me a cook commented how one of her chocolate chip pancakes disappeared. Mystery solved! The pancakes are huge, but light and fluffy. Perfect texture. As I was eating my food I hacked away at those pancakes. The only issue is I left there incredibly stuffed. My sister had a Greek omelette and I had the sausage and cheese omelette. The home fries are incredible because they use little red potatoes and then slice them scalloped style. Fantastic! Everyone enjoyed their food immensely. The sausage inside my omelette was also sliced well to blend into the omelette. The eggs were light and fluffy, not overdone like every other restaurant. The toast was perfect too! And 2 slices! The new normal is 1 slice these days I guess to save money. I can't wait till next week to pick up mom and we will eat here again and this time my wife will get to try it read more

We stopped in to check the fare of this well rated breakfast spot in the shopping center. A very friendly greeting from the hostess and a warm greeting from our server Mary made us feel right at home. We chose to split the Chicken & Waffles combo which included home fries as a rasher of bacon. The waffle was perfect, the chicken juicy, bacon crisp and delicious and the home fries just like Granny used to make. Try the spicy syrup - delicious. As I said the service & food were excellent as were nice glassware and dinnerware. The only down side was the very very cheap silverware the restaurant used. They should do better as it just cheapens the excellent experience. Total for all was $22.35 without a tip for the excellent service from Mary M. So happy that they were not jammed packed on this Saturday morning. I called and drove by so many places and the lines were outside, and people were waiting everywhere. I went to a Keke's in Orlando, and it was good. I called here after going to our third spot that was packed, and asked the wait time for 4 the host said no wait come on in. So we were seated right when we arrived. Service was awesome our waitress was great! Food took a little bit, but everything was fresh, tasty, and warm. I was shocked at how bad the service was. The server was extremely rude. He asked to us to pronounce the food in a different language so he can just correct and make fun of our pronunciation. The stuff was watching us eat the whole entire time not giving us any privacy. Yet, this is not the worst. Our server was watching us pay and checking whether we left the tip or not. We wanted to try a new place for breakfast, and Keke's delivered! No, not literally, we ate at the restaurant. They were busy but we were seated within 15 minutes as promised. Nice interior, very bright and clean. Hostess worked hard to get everyone seated as soon as possible. Our server Anna was phenomenal. I have to say, one of the best I've ever had. Quick, on point, efficient, yet somehow made it all look easy. She should teach server classes and I guarantee her students will see at least a 50% increase in tips. Coffee was strong and hot, perfect. I ordered my old staple for new breakfast places, scrambled eggs and ham with breakfast potatoes. Actually here I got the half a ham steak, glad Anna steered me to this ample portion instead of the full size. A nice cut of ham with no fat and perfectly grilled. Eggs were fluffy and tasty. Rye toast was fine. Potatoes were cut into rounds with grilled onions and had a nice flavor, though I chose to add a little salt. One of the better breakfast potatoes I've eaten in a while. We also had the combo, which was a nice menu feature to try a few things. Ask your server if you have any questions because it reads at first like a technical manual, but you can basically get whatever you want as long as you don't mind paying for it. Eggs over easy with bacon and the turtle stuffed french toast is what we chose. Bacon was cooked near perfect but the stuffed french toast was totally decadent! So good, not for the diet minded. Lots of other stuffed french toast options as well as pancakes and waffles. Overall, we were very pleased. Food was a step up from other diners and Anna's service rounded out a perfect breakfast. If I would I would leave 0 stars! Bad service and mediocre food which I didn't even get to eat since they screwed up my order. By the time they brought out the food my husband was done. It was an omelette how difficult is it to mess up. Unacceptable, especially since they made no effort to make this experience better.
