We found this place by accident and have to say what a great find! Our server, think Kayla may have been here name was GREAT! She was spot on with her recommendations! The hamburger was great, cooked to perfection! My friend enjoy his chicken salad, but felt it could use more heat. The milk shakes looked fantastic but didn't get one because it was closing time. This was worth the drive from Jacksonville. All the servers were friendly professional and kind as I watched and listened as they provided the same quality service we had

My friend and I tried to eat at another local spot but the wait was too long and we would not have made our improv show. So my friend hopped on Yelp and found One Twenty Three Burger House close by and the reviews were good. Bonus, the restaurant had a parting lot which is hard to come by in St Augustine. It wasn't huge, but we found a spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was lots of seating inside and some outside on the front and side porch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated in a smaller section to the right of the main dining area. Which I loved as it was a little quieter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sophisticated cow pic was a cute touch;)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started off by ordering onion rings. They were hot and crispy just how I like them! I ordered The Cali burger with bison. Bison was an upgrade option for any burger and it has less fat content than beef. The Cali was served with Swiss cheese, jalapeño infused bacon, avocado, tomato and red onion. The burger was fabulous! It was huge, flavorful and all the ingrediants fit perfectly together! I only ate half and took the rest home. You can also purchase wood-fired pizza, a variety of sandwiches, wings, salads, as well as gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Service was friendly and fast.

Everything was delicious; especially the garlic knots! They were HUGE and loaded with garlic butter. Yummmmm! The pizza was good with a crispy crust, but soggy middle. The oven at home will fix that right up. The burger looked delicious, but my daughter was a little disappointed stating it was "meh". We'll be back to give the burger another try, for sure.

We had a great experience at this eatery in Saint Augustine recently. The service atmosphere was truly awesome, all associate, smiling, and tending to their customer needs. Kendra was our server and she was spot on great with her cadence of service, friendliness, and excellence. I got the black and blue burger with fries and my wife got the Bill your own burger. She could also have the fries as the fryers were dedicated as GF. They also have of course the gluten-free bread. Even though the burgers were cooked more than our preferences, they were still extremely tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Last minute stop for a late dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very friendly restaurant on the way into historic downtown.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed which was a good sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They let us in at 8:58pm. We ordered quickly. My blackened chicken with jalapeño infused bacon, swiss, avocado snd tomato was just what I wanted. The tomato and avocado really added to the flavor. I even enjoyed the coleslaw and im normally not a fan. It was crisp and not over sauced. Thank you for a nice quick dinner.

We went for a late lunch (at around 3:30pm) and we were able to get seated right away. We got wings as an appetizer and the 123 sauce was SO GOOD, Wings were crispy too. We got our burgers and they were great size burgers! Cooked so good and the patties were juicy. The thick cut fries were seasoned very well. Would definitely recommend, they have easy parking and it's right before the main strip of st, augustine. Would definetly come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Theres definitely seating for large groups, they have TVS, bathrooms & the waiters were nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Portion size was big!

Grilled chicken strips and fries with garlic knots.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute, quaint place with rustic decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was excellent. We were met by Mike, when we walked through the door. Super nice guy. I had the grilled chicken strips with fries. OHHH SOOOO GOOOOD! Another member of my party had a salad and the pizza. That was very good, and a good size. The garlic knots.... YUM! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean and kept up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

Antique, rustic, comfortable, and full of enough character that you almost feel like you've stepped 200 years back in time. Then the drinks arrive, and suddenly you realize you've been transported into the future of cocktails. I wish I could remember the name of the drink I ordered because it was spectacular. Whiskey, a little sweetness, mint, and crushed ice. That's about all I can tell you. What I can tell you is that I could have happily consumed about 30 of them, tumbled down the stairs, and been perfectly happy about the whole experience. My wife went with the Mojito, and it was brilliantly constructed. The crushed ice and layered mint made it look almost too good to drink. Almost. The drinks absolutely deserve five stars. Then came the blue crab beignets, and they were spectacular. That's the kind of appetizer that makes you stop talking for a minute because everyone at the table is too busy enjoying what's happening. Unfortunately, the rest of the food didn't quite live up to the cocktails. The fish dip was very average and lacked much flavor, and the menu itself felt pretty limited. So here's the deal: if you're coming to The Ice Plant for drinks, I would have no problem giving it five stars. The cocktails are that good. This is a highly recommended stop for a drink in St. Augustine. But I have to review the entire experience, and the limited menu and average fish dip bring the overall experience down a notch. Four stars. Come for the drinks. Stay for the atmosphere. Definitely order the blue crab beignets. And if you happen to find yourself three cocktails deep, admiring the antique decor while contemplating the stairs, maybe just take your time.

It gave modern tiki bar feeling, it was clean and felt very warm and inviting. We sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender and a very extensive and beautiful leather bound menu! I loved that haha! They had everything from classic tiki drinks, to modern, to drinks by liquor type, etc. It had the food menu, some information about the bar and how it came about. We ordered a few drinks: Bushido Rhapsody (DELICIOUS), Stars & Sarsaparilla (husband liked it) and their currently rotating tiki drink - Escape from Black Mountain, which serves 2 and is served in a cool mug of the bust of Pedro Menendez. You can purchase it as well! It was so good and felt never ending between the 2 of us drinking it. For food we ordered a couple of apps - Cajun Chicken Eggrolls and the Montenegro Meatballs. Both were fantastic!! If we didn't already have dinner plans, we would have stayed here for dinner! Definitely will be coming back here next time we are in town and every time after that!

I had maybe the most bibimbap of my life here, and that includes contenders from a number of restaurants in the Atlanta area. It was truly perfect. $8 for adding tofu (maybe 1/4 block lmao) is one of the funniest things I've ever seen financially, but hey it's a tourist area and it was absolutely made with skill & care, so I wasn't even mad. Seriously, I wanted to hug whoever cooked it. It is so worth it. Everyone else at my table was thrilled with what they got - burrata sandwiches and a fish sandwich.
