However, I was surprised to discover that the two establishments are not affiliated, and unfortunately, the similarities end with the name. The overall dining experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service felt inexperienced, and the restaurant's layout was awkward and poorly organized. With the kitchen, cashier, and food preparation areas all exposed, the atmosphere felt chaotic rather than comfortable or inviting. There was little sense of coordination or professionalism. Unfortunately, the food was even more disappointing. The fish was excessively salty, and we actually discovered insects among the vegetables provided for the wraps, which had to be taken back and washed again. This raised concerns about the restaurant's attention to cleanliness and food preparation. The side dishes, which are an essential part of any authentic Korean meal, were remarkably underwhelming and lacked flavor. The pork dish was overwhelmingly spicy to the point that we could barely eat it. Rather than enhancing the dish, the excessive heat completely overpowered any other flavors. As someone familiar with authentic Korean cuisine, I found the overall quality particularly disappointing. Authenticity should be reflected not only in the menu but also in the balance of flavors, freshness of ingredients, and attention to detail. Between the disorganized environment, inexperienced service, and poorly executed dishes, this was one of the least enjoyable Korean dining experiences I've had in quite some time. I certainly would not confuse this establishment with the excellent restaurant in Fullerton, despite their identical names. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.

If you're going with a few people, the Braised Spicy Premium Beef Ribs with the flat glass noodles is definitely the move. The portion easily feeds two to three. The meat is super tender and just falls off the bone, covered in a rich, spicy sauce that has a nice kick to it. The flat glass noodles soak up all that sauce, and the chunks of kabocha squash add a slight sweetness that balances out the spicy, heavy beef. Service is super fast. You get your banchan pretty much the second you sit down, and the food comes out steaming hot without a long delay. If you're looking for a quick group lunch spot where you can split something huge and spicy, it's definitely worth coming here.

My friend also let me try the beef bone soup that came on the side, and I had the same impression. After the meal, I felt sick and nauseous from its artificial tastes. Overall, the food simply did not taste authentic or made with the quality of ingredients I expected. I really dislike leaving negative reviews because I genuinely want to support local restaurants. However, based on what we were served, I cannot recommend this place. The restaurant presents itself as an authentic seolleongtang restaurant, and one entire wall is covered with large advertisements emphasizing its authenticity. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to those claims. I was also confused by the restaurant's name, YiGah, because it sounds essentially the same in Korean as the well-known LeeGa name in Los Angeles. That initially gave me a different expectation of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was simply terrible during our visit. I hope they will improve the quality, especially the broth and seasonings.

They're always so comforting, rich, and flavorful! The crispy tofu is another dish I enjoy, although I've noticed it's changed a bit over time. It's still good, but the way it's plated makes the bottom pieces a little soggy instead of staying crispy. The sweet and spicy sauce that comes with it is delicious, though! The bulgogi was sweet, savory, and full of flavor! I especially love the onions that come with it. They soak up all that delicious sauce and pair so well with the beef. We also got the hot stone bibimbap, which is super filling and comes loaded with different vegetables and beef. I love the meat and veggies bar where I can pick and choose what meats I want at the portions I'm comfortable with. The problem with most AYCE BBQ restaurants is that they always give so much meat. Even if I ask them to provide half they would refuse for some reason. Since I don't really like bothering servers all the time, asking them to bring more food to the table, I really love the freedom of getting the meats myself at my own pace. This way I can control the frequency, the portions and won't end up paying extra for leftovers I couldn't finish. For an affordable lunch menu they do offer a good variety of meat and side dish options. The food is delicious. The marinades are bold and flavorful, although they can be a bit overwhelming.
