Spicy Korean chicken bowl
Brian P.

Great option for quick service if you're staying in the hotels near by. They serve chicken and beef bowls as well as wings and other drinks. I tried their spicy Korean chicken bowl and it brought the heat, added with the magic sauce and it's a good and filling bowl. Really no complaints overall. Service was quick and courteous. Won't blame the staff but there were some areas that could use a mopping which I figured they'd get to when the closed up. Appreciate that they squeezed in my order a few minutes before closing as I just got into town.

Health conscious. I'm traveling for work and this is very close. I wanted something on the other side and was pleasantly surprised. I had the no mini chicken bowl cause it was close to closing, and who needs a big meal near 8:00 The server didn't try to oversell me, but he was helpful. It tastes great, and I feel satisfied.

Food was good ,simple and reasonable price . The bowl serving was big too. Place was clean and service was quick and very hospitable. I recommend this shop .

You can buy and take home some of the magic sauce-- BOMB.

Was in the area for lunch and decided to stop by Flame Broiler since there aren't too many locations near me. Ordered the half and half bowl with rice and veggies on the side. Food was ready very quickly and tasted fresh. Always be sure to get a side of the hot sauce and the magic sauce! They pair perfectly with the meal. Thanks to Victor and his team for being so nice and efficient. The location was super clean and the service was quick. Honestly, if you want to feel full all day without that icky feeling -- Flame Broiler is the move.

Don't waste your money. I'm so regret that I didn't take a picture of the food, but the chicken was burned so bad. Only reason I didn't took a picture of the food is because was more focusing on taking a picture of the employee. This guy is so rude, of course you don't expect any greeting, he was sweeping the floor while I was eating in the restaurant, he had his own speaker on his belt and playing some gangster music so loud... just don't waste your money here..

Best decision of my late night misadventures in a long time! It was very filling (you could probably order one item and split it or have plenty of food for leftovers the next day), it's not inexpensive but it's great value (but then again $20 for a meal out is kind of going rate standard so maybe it is inexpensive or comparable to most anything else you could choose?), and it's great quality. The soup is a combo meal that comes with rice, glass noodles, fish cakes in sauce, and kimchi. You can also modify the spice level to make it more mild or spicy depending on your preference. I don't know why I am so obsessed with the soup but I'm going to think about it for a while because I was 100% lost in the sauce while eating it - after you get halfway you can put the rice, part of the kimchi, and (maybe) the fish cakes in the soup so it gets closer to porridge and break up some of the blood sausage to mix it throughout. Service is friendly and can recommend different things to eat. I got my order as takeout but the dining atmosphere is really good for how close each table is to one another. Everyone still has enough space to be on their own but because you're closer together it kind of feels communal.

The interior is super…read morebright and welcoming, and most of the staff are ajummas, which honestly gives it that comforting, homey Korean diner vibe. You can tell this place has a strong base of regulars too, I saw a mix of friend groups and families casually walking in like it's their go-to spot. We ordered the cold noodles combo with jokbal (pork hock) for $30.95. Portion wise, it's SOLID for two people. The cold noodles were refreshing and really hit the spot, especially if you like that clean, slightly tangy flavor. The jokbal was very decent. Not bad, but if you've had it in Korea, you'll notice it doesn't quite hit the same level still totally "usable," just not standout. Value, this is where they win. We got full off just one combo, which is rare these days. Plus, all the usual Korean side dishes are complimentary, and they also served a warm bone broth at no extra cost. I've honestly never had that offered like this before, and it made the whole meal feel extra comforting and homey. Small detail, but I also appreciated that the table was already fully set up with bowls, utensils, and water which makes everything efficient. Overall, really solid experience. It actually gave me a bit of that Seoul nostalgia, which is hard to replicate. Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

The restaurant wasn't that busy when I went. Super clean, the server was so sweet, and the food came out so fast. The banchan was on the sweeter side. I really enjoyed their kimchi and bean sprouts. My naengmyun came out shortly after the banchan, and I was so surprised by how big the portion was! It had a good amount of meat and cucumber too. It was so much that I was able to take home half. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes out!

There were some carrot pieces, mushrooms, spinach clumps, and some onion slices. I liked how the mushrooms were salted, it contrasted well with the sweeter flavors of the marinade. I liked that the fry wasnt too crazy such that it makes the wonton wrapper on the outside super hard. These were very easy to eat. The meat on the inside was juicy and flavorful. We ended up at Yigah, and I was so glad we did. I saw they had Galbitang...and was excited to try their version of it. But my buddy was sold on Yukkaejang... Being a fan myself..mostly because I have never found my favorite one, I agreed. We also wanted to order mandoo and bibimbap as a control. The waitress comes over and we order those three items. She tells us that we shouldn't order the bibimbap, we should order the hot stone version. I love Korean restaurants....it's way more important to order what the employee thinks is best....yes let's do it! Our food comes out and everything is delicious! The Yukkaejang is very good....but also very spicy. Definitely at the top of my threshold for spice...but I am wimpy. The stone pot bibimbap was interesting and yummy. It had a miso flavor to it...very good! The hilarious part was the mandoo seemed so bland after eating the other two dishes....just due to the intensity of flavor! The banchan was good as well. I was using the wonbok kim chee to cool down my mouth from the Yukkaejang...that's how spicy it was...lol I know we will be back...definitely for the Galbitang!

I ordered the galbi tang and steamed dumplings, and my meal was delicious. The beef ribs were very tender, and they did not skimp out on the meat portions which can sometimes be an issue at other restaurants. I usually order a side of extra glass noodles, but I'm glad I didn't here because the noodle portion was also generous. The dumplings were juicy, and the dipping sauce complimented them perfectly. My favorite galbi tang spots are in Buena Park, but Tang 190 will definitely scratch the itch when I can't wait since I'm local to Irvine.

Here's a polished version of your review:…read more We used to go to Tang 190 almost every week. Back then, the service was good, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable. However, a few years ago, the restaurant changed ownership, and things have gone downhill since then. Prices have increased, the taste is different, and most importantly, the service is no longer good. Because of that, we stopped going there for at least two years. The other day, I took my father there again just to see if anything had improved, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The service was still really bad. We ordered one of the specials from the menu, and nobody informed us that ordering the special meant it would not include the usual side dishes. This was very poor communication on their part. They should clearly mention that in the menu before customers order. Instead, after we ordered, they told us that the side dishes were not included. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, especially compared to how good this place used to be.
