A little underwhelming, ordering process is chaotic and pasta is ok to good but nothing exceptional. Service is decent and ambiance is just alright for a Michelin recommended spot. Wait times on weekends can run over an hour which really baffles me. Drinks are decent. Not sure if they were understaffed that night but this is the type of restaurant where you would really expect to see table side service not an order at the counter kind of jam. What appears to be slowing them is their Togo DoorDash and Uber orders which feel like the priority. I'd say the most notable thing we had were the corn fritters.

Very friendly service, good wine options, shareable menu. Don't sleep on the artichokes!

Where the Harlem of the West ends is where a completely gentrified neighborhood begins. I am appalled at how bad this subpar Italian restaurant was. The service was bad, prices were high, and the food was deplorable. My friend and I were gonna go to our usual Italian spot, but we chose to come here because it was a new place to me. I completely regretted my choice after eating dinner here. The restaurant was clean and has outdoor seating, benched tables. All food had to be ordered inside at the front reception area. Luckily the guy serving water took our order. We had a side of bread, the butter was good and the bread was the best thing we had. The food took much longer than expected to be made. The food runners forgot our order and let it sit. My friend had the artichokes. She said that the butter was coagulated and too cold to enjoy. We were told it was meant to be served cold. That should not be a cold appetizer. I had the rigatoni and it was dry and plain. My food was lukewarm. The pork sausages must have been undercooked because I became very sick the next day. We also had drinks. My friend had two glasses of the house red on happy hour and I had the Amaro Mojito. The red wine and the Amaro Mojito were decent. I won't be back. There are much better Italian restaurants throughout the metro Denver area. This restaurant is an abomination. Deuces Dio Mio

We came in a little early for happy hour, and I'm glad we did. Knowing it's a Michelin rated restaurant, I came in with a little higher expectation which I may have set the bar a bit too high as there were a few letdowns. The happy hour wine deal is solid, two glasses for $11 is a steal! We ordered three appetizers: the prosciutto toast, the artichoke, and the corn fritters. The prosciutto toast stole the show for me. Honestly, I liked it more than my actual meal and would come back just for that alone. The artichokes were also flavorful and well prepared. The corn fritters were decent but not particularly memorable. For my main, I went with the Cacio e Pepe, and unfortunately, it fell short. It was overly peppery to the point that it overwhelmed the dish, and the texture felt off. It was grainy rather than a creamy texture. It just didn't have that balanced, comforting quality I was hoping for. Overall, I'm glad I got to try this place during happy hour when the prices felt more reasonable. If I had paid full price, I might've left feeling more disappointed.

We ordered our food to go on a chilly day and a big ol serving of pasta was just what we needed. I ordered the rigatoni which was delicious- good hint of spice and the sausage was a highlight.y husband ordered cacio pepe and we loved this as well. The handmade pasta is so good. We also loved that the servings were solid for the price point. We will definitely be back!

A delicious spot worth trying!! I came here with some friends for happy hour, which is an amazing deal that should be taken advantage of if you can! The wine is 2 for 1 and there is an awesome list of items for $7. These dishes were all amazing with not one I wouldn't get again. They were also a lot of food for the price. The standout happy hour for everyone dish was the stracciatella and prosciutto toast, but I loved them all! The artichokes were so unique with the croutons and orange pieces. The $12 pasta is a great deal too, though I could not even eat mine by the time we finished the apps, perfect for lunch the next day though! The staff was all so friendly and helpful even with it being an order at the counter type place. I think there are of course cooler Italian spots if you're looking for ambiance and cocktails but this is an awesome place for a casual dinner that won't break the bank. I imagine I'd frequent this spot if I lived in the neighborhood!

Dio Mio is an excellent weeknight dinner spot. We stopped in for an early-ish dinner (around 6:30/7pm) on a Tuesday and were able to get seated right away. The restaurant is pretty casual and low-key. You get seated, but order your food and drink at the counter. We opted for the House Focaccia with Stracciatella and each of our own pasta dishes. I got the Radiatori (because I'm in a pisachio moment). It was SO GOOD. The pistachio pesto was perfect and the radiatori was the best vehicle for the sauce. The furikaki was an interesting garnish but added another level of flavor I was not expecting. Overall, it was a sweet dining experience. The host and servers were super nice, especially when we asked for their food and wine recommendations. The restaurant is in the very cool RiNo Arts District area so it's close to a bunch of other places.

Dio Mio is great for a weekday dinner with friends. Getting a table was easy considering they don't take reservations, and I felt their service was great despite the fact you order food and drinks at the bar. Loved the specialty cocktails from the bars I tried -- dragonfruit limoncello spritz and blood orange margarita. For food, my friend and I split the arancini, focaccia + prosciutto, and the Rigatoni (fennel sausage, kale, calabrian chile, lemon breadcrumbs). The pricing was great to share all this and 2 drinks each, it came to $52 per person with tax and tip.

This fast-casual spot serves up handmade fresh pasta and fantastic Italian bites. The wine list is a perfect match for the menu, and the team is always so welcoming with excellent service! Their menu changes often, so some of these dishes are no longer available, but here's what I've tried: What I've tried: House Focaccia with house stracciatella, aged balsamic, olive oil Winter Salad: mixed greens, glazed oyster mushrooms, Smith apples, feta (no longer on the menu) Tuna Crudo: bone marrow aioli, pickled brats, tendon puffs (no longer on the menu) Squid Ink Pasta (no longer on the menu) Cacio e Pepe: mafalde, black pepper, pink peppercorn, Parmesan Spaghetti: red sauce, Parmesan, chives Best bites: Every pasta I've had here has been cooked perfectly al dente. The spaghetti's red sauce was packed with flavor, well-seasoned, and just delicious. The squid ink pasta honestly haunts my dreams because it was that good. Even the focaccia which is normally my least favorite bread, was pillowy, well-baked, and the perfect vehicle for their fantastic stracciatella. If you haven't been yet, check them out!

Stuffed Mezzaluna and Radiatori

Dio Mio is a restaurant with a unique concept of providing high end food in an order at the counter casual experience. The food was clean and quality. However, one pasta stood out by far. The Stuffed Mezzaluna is quite possibly the best pasta I've ever had! It was exquisite! On top of that the staff was very friendly. If I were Dio Mio, I'd keep the Stuffed Mezzaluna on the menu forever.

Wish they served you, you order at the counter. Food was good but unique, every pasta dish had a weird kind of flare. We sat outside it was nice out!

Came for dinner on a Thursday night. No reservations needed for 3 people. Great service. You order at the counter but they serve you at your table. Perfect amount of food for us. Chill vibes, esp if you sit outside. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Highly recommend

Dio Mio has been on my list for a while, and my birthday was a good excuse to finally go! The counter service style was unique for an Italian restaurant, but didn't seem to be reflected in the price. We did take advantage of the happy hour, with 2 for $11 glasses of house wine and prosciutto and straciatella on the focaccia bread. It only came with two pieces in a serving, my husband and I said we would have each gotten our own serving if we were to come again, it was that good. The house wine wasn't as smooth as I would have wished, I would probably go with a different drink. The rigatoni was a little dry for my preference, but the ravioli made my eyes roll back in my head, the cream sauce was so good. We also got the carrot cake, which was tiny, but had some interesting carmelized carrot flakes and lemon flavored cream. I would probably skip that on my next visit. Overall, it was good, but I have my favorite items that I would stick with.

I wasn't blown away, but was definitely not disappointed. The Cacio e Pepe was like an adult Mac and cheese - very rich and yummy.

Always exceptional food, beautiful presentation, with sustainable practices, this is the place to celebrate a special occasion. The current menu, which runs through June, is the final menu by the current chef and it highlights Costa Rican cuisine. The chef and staff have gone to great lengths to showcase this Latin American dining experience. The Barramundi was by far my favorite on the menu, although that is relative among the 7-course meal. Everything we tried was knock your socks off delicious. I love the quiet dining room, with a chance to visit with others sitting near you at the chef's counter. Their fermentation program is second to none. One thing that always makes a meal memorable is the service. The Bruto team takes care of everything and knows just about everything food or drink wise. Again, I counted the kitchen staff: The ration is 1 to 2, meaning you will feel like a VIP with the personal interaction. I'm mad. Not at them... at myself…read more I lived in Denver for over five years and just now made it to El Five, and now I understand why it's such a staple. The menu was recently refreshed and it shows. The mushroom paella was loaded and perfectly cooked, the burrata was a solid start, and the Turkish pizza with halloumi was a surprise standout. The poached cod was also great, especially the sauce. The drinks were just as strong. The L5 margarita with salt foam was really good, and even the frosé, which I usually skip, worked perfectly here. The vibe is a big part of it. The downtown views are hard to beat and the patio is easily one of the better ones in the city. Inside also feels intentional and well designed. Service was excellent. Avery was our server and it was her first day, which you wouldn't have guessed. Carl and Mark also made the experience feel smooth and welcoming. For dessert, the Lisbon chocolate cake and Turkish kunefe were both great. The Basque cheesecake and lobster salad also stood out and had those memorable bites that stick with you. I assume seating on the other side would give you a view of the mountains but we didn't explore. For the food, we just ordered 2 starters: eggplant fries and patatas bravas. The potatoes were dry and starchy and not crispy like I would hope and expect for the dish, would not order again. The eggplant fries on the other hand were amazing - crispy with a sweet glaze and perfectly tender on the inside. I would come back just for these fries. The seafood dishes looked and smelled amazing as we saw other tables get them and I'd come back to order other dishes just because the views, drinks, and service were so great.

We also had the black miso cod, this might have been the highlight dish. It was so tender and supple, melting at the touch of a fork and even better in your mouth.
