Great food and atmosphere! We stopped by with a larger party while in town and picked this spot based on location. Despite it being busy, we were able to make a reservation in advance and be seated quickly. The waiter was super helpful (even in accommodating kids) and the owner even stopped by for a friendly conversation. I got the seasons butternut squash gnocchi and it was fantastic. The garlic knots and meatball appetizers were also good. Finally I got a red sangria. Would definitely come back!

Cranelli's is my favorite Italian restaurant in Colorado. We tried the new IrinCini. These are delicious. They are caprese filled balls with Parmesan mozzarella tomatoes, and onions. Topped with a Housemade pesto sauce. These are to die for we also had chicken Parmesan and lasagna, which were delicious they're garlic knots are also highly recommended with marinara sauce. The waitresses and staff are very upbeat and nice and it is always packed full. Very pleasant ambience and great experience.

Stopped in last Sunday in time for Happy Hour and super affordable Pinot Noir and $6 appetizers, including the Caprese, which is now one of my new favorites! Always worth the drive to Lone Tree for Cranelli's!

I wished their Aglio e olio was lemony as it tasted before! I've been here twice since my first meal at cranellis and honestly it wasn't like it tasted before. The chicken piccata is good and so is their sausage - I'm always on the hunt for a good fennel sausage! Service was always been good and so has the ambience.

We were seated at our table within minutes of our reservation and the place was packed. We have been coming here for years and it was the first time we were seated on the "Fun Patio". It is an awesome place to sit. Seated at our table we were greeted by our server PARIS. Paris took our order after making some outstanding suggestions. We started with a Ceasar Salad which was so fresh and delicious. Next our main course was served, Eggplant Parmigiana and Lobster Ravioli. Every bite was so amazingly delicious. They know how to cook and serve food that is truly out of this world. Graham did a Fantastic job clearing our table and making sure everything was perfect at our table. The Service, Food and Ambience make Cranelli's one of the Best Restaurants in the Denver Metroplex. Looking for a GREAT PLACE to take a meal then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cranelli's.

The staff and management were wonderful! We were sat at a table right by the front door, so it was kind of chilly. But to say "thank you" for not complaining, the manager came over and offered us free garlic knots and an appetizer. That was very nice, thank YOU! We split a bottle or red wine, which was delicious. I want to go look for it at the store, was very tasty. The garlic knots and arancini were good. I would have preferred the knots to be cooked for another 1 minute. And the arancini were good, just a unique flavor combination for an Italian restaurant-- jalapeño cornbread with a honey butter glaze/sauce. My chicken marsala was the real let down of the meal. But I have a couple of thoughts. Either 1. They are just so busy around the holidays, that they are just trying to put out as many dishes as possible, so quality slipped. Or 2. This is just their version of a marsala sauce, and it wasn't what I expected. I'm not Italian, so take this with a grain of salt, but I expect a marsala sauce to be brown, rich, creamy and deep in flavor. This sauce was watery and bland. The Tiramisu was amazing! Definitely get that. The staff, service, wine and dessert were enough for me to say, "I'll come back and give them another try!" But I need to find another pasta dish that knocks my socks off before giving them a five star review. Thanks for the great time, see ya next time!

Had breakfast here with bottomless mimosas and their frittata was spectacular! But what really sets this place apart is the staff. I've been three times, and every visit comes with a genuinely warm welcome from the hostess, great service at the bar, and attentive servers on the floor. The manager even went out of their way to accommodate my allergies.

To go: Still the best meatball sandwich that I've ever had. The perfect blend of meatballs, sauce, cheese and bread. You won't find a better one. It's a little pricy would be my only issue but tonight, I had to have one to go.

We had a great time here and love coming back this will always be our go to spot for Italian food. We did experience a couple small hiccups. We initially received lasagna instead of baked ziti but our server was very gracious, quickly bringing out the baked ziti and letting us keep the lasagna. Additionally, we always order the aglio e olio, but this time it wasn't as lemony-buttery as we liked it since the noodles were clumping together. We also felt a bit rushed when the waitress began clearing the table and grabbing some of our plates while we were still actively eating, which made us feel a little uncomfortable and rushed. Aside from that, it was a very busy Sunday night and the service was prompt. Overall, we still enjoy dining here and look forward to returning! The ambiance was great!

I think I first reviewed Cranelli's seven or eight years ago now and still year after year when we are visiting family and friends in Colorado we always make a point to come by here. The food quality is so consistently delicious, genuinely never a bad experience. Our waiter just two nights ago was the absolute best and the vibe here is always super chill. I think one of the hardest things about eating out or really even finding restaurants that you want to continuously revisit is finding those spots that come through with consistently delicious food every single time, but Cranelli's is 100% one of those spots that gets it right every time . Can't recommend enough the meatballs, the burrata with the spicy marinara & any of the pasta dishes!

We love Cranelli's and tonight was no different!!! I have been going here for several years and watched the restaurant expand and grow. However, the DELICIOUS food, outstanding service, and family feel has stayed the same. Tonight we had the most incredible dinner and our waitress was attentive, kind, helpful, and made our experience wonderful. This is a restaurant we will keep coming back to, time and time again. Not pictured: Caesar and house salads, Arancini's (a MUST) Thank you Cranelli's for being consistent in quality, kindness, and an overall wonderful experience!

Ask the Community - Cranelli's Italian Restaurant

How many vegan options are offered?

Thank you for reaching out! Our menu on our website indicates which pastas can be vegan, when you click on each one. You have about 5 options for pastas. Lasinda, owner

    Do they deliver?

They do through UberEats and Postmaster.

How is their Spaghetti and Meatballs/Meat Sauce?

Outta this World. Super delicious 👍

    Is the pasta homemade?

    Yes

    Are they dog friendly?

Absolutely! Dogs are allowed on their front patio and on their covered side patio. From my visits they always bring out water for my pup and their plain meatballs have become one of her favorite treats!

What are the Happy Hour deals?

During Happy Hour, Wine is $4.00 a glass. I am not sure about a reduction in appetizer prices.

Hello - does anyone know if they have a Gluten Free menu or can accommodate? Such as GF bread, pasta, etc?

We offer gluten free noodles, also Arancinis but they are fried in the same oil so it’s not ideal for celiac. We also have gluten free option Desserts.

She decided to try the rigatoni, while I had the rosemary chicken. Both dishes were fine, if not particularly overwhelming or impressive. She thought she'd go back to the pizza if we returned again. The bread that comes with the dinners (and is available as an appetizer) resembles more of an Indian naan than an Italian bread. But at least the flavor was good. Like the food, service was fine for the most part. A little slow at the start, but around when we needed it. Food came out fast at least. Overall, I'll say everything here was fine. Not blown away by really any of it, but also nothing earth shattering that would keep us from coming back if we were in the area and hungry. That said, with lots of Italian/pizza places in the area, we probably wouldn't make a special trip to drive here.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

One of the staff (blonde girl) walks up to th me stand, puts menus in the holder, and walks away. No greeting, no eye contact, nada! About 3 minutes later, another member of staff (male) says someone will be right with me. After a couple more minutes, I am asked if I want to sit at the bar or a table. I chose table (I wanted a pizza and the room to spread out) and off we go. This may have been my downfall... So I am sat down and the male staff member gives me a menu and says my server will be right over. She comes over from behind the bar (blonde girl from before) and is super friendly, explaining the menu and takes my drink order. She the comes back with my beer, along with a flyer with a QR code for me to sign up for their loyalty program (I will then get $10 off my first order). I figure that's a good deal and after she takes my food order (2 small "Detroiter Pizza" for $10 a pie, as it is "313" day (March 13th)), I download the app and sign up. Here is where the really frustrating part comes up. I sit a and wait over 35 minutes for my pizza to arrive. Now there was food presented to me multiple times during my wait, but it wasn't my order (cheese pizza paraded around to multiple tables). I finally am brought my to-go pizza (I had ordered 2 smalls - 1 to eat there, 1 for takeaway), but waited another 15 minutes for my actual meal. During this time, no one comes by to check on my table or ask if I need anything (beer glass has been empty for 10 minutes). The male staff member asks multiple tables around me if all was good and if they need anything, but suspiciously skips asking me. So I finally just call out to him and ask if my pizza is still coming out or not. To the actual pizza.... It was FANTASTIC (which makes me leaving this 1 star review hard). I thoroughly enjoyed the crust, the cheese, and the sauce on top and even with all the issues already laid out, I'd thought I would likely return. But... here is why I will not. When I checked my banking app earlier today, I have 2 charges from Via 313. The first charge is what I signed for via their mobile device that was brought to my table, but the second is for $18 and change and I have no idea what that is about? With this many cock-ups and shady charges, I simply cannot recommend Via 313!

Everyone ordered different items at the table and we all got to taste a bit of everyone's food. There wasn't a single dish that wasn't out of this world delicious. Cream sauces, marinara sauces, seafood, pizza, it was all amazing! The service was phenomenal too. This place was jam packed and I never had to wait for a drink refill or to have plates cleared from the table. Can't wait to go back to this place soon!

Unfortunately, Na Favola does not eliminate the fact that 'great Italian restaurant' and 'in Denver metro' remains an oxymoron. We ordered the Focaccia bread. That was delicious, and the olive oil and vinegar mix was tasty. I ordered the Tagliatelle au Ragu. First of all, they gave me Tagliolini, *not* Tagliatelle. And the Ragu was a 1/2 liter. Really? That's not how the Romans do it. The other person in the party ordered Amatriciana. Kind of meh. We've had amazing Amatriciana in Rome, this fell short. The tiramisu dessert was amazing. The service was well paced. We sat in the side area. The main area (where you enter) is very noisy. So this is a bit of a generous 4 star review. The pizzas look great - we might come back here to try them. This place is good, not great, but it is better than most Italian restaurants in the Denver metro. Which, sad to say, is a low metric to exceed.

The chargrilled oysters, a salad, and a glass of wine are always a must for HH. I hadn't been in for several months until last night, and while there was a very uncomfortable situation with another guest, the way it was handled truly stood out. The bartender, H, and the manager, M, immediately recognized what was happening and stepped in quickly, handling it with professionalism, grace, and care. Experiences like that matter, and it reinforced why I enjoy coming here. The service is consistently top-notch, and the staff genuinely looks out for their guests. I'll absolutely continue to recommend and return.

It immediately made us feel overlooked and unimportant. While we waited, we ordered drinks at the bar. The bartenders did not speak highly of the staff and mentioned a few times that "the kitchen cannot handle that" or "the servers would all quit" for various reasons. It gave us pause as to whether we should even stay. Once seated, things only continued downhill. They were out of two local red wines and apparently every Pinot Noir on the menu, which was disappointing considering the limited options left. The service throughout the night felt completely inattentive. Our water glasses sat empty, no one checked on us after our food arrived, and we couldn't even mention issues because no one came by. To make matters worse, there was an olive pit left in the tapenade, which is unacceptable and honestly dangerous. On top of that, the pizza and pasta plates were scorching hot, and no one warned us before serving them. I ended up burning my hand trying to move a plate. For the price point and reputation, I expected so much better. The entire evening felt disorganized, careless, and lacking even the most basic attention to hospitality. We have a running list of hundreds of restaurants in the Denver metro area. We both grew up here and try 1-2 new (to us) restaurants a month. Of the list, which we started over 10 years ago, there are 3 with a thumbs down emoji next to them and this unfortunately is one of them.

It features tender, butter-poached jumbo shrimp with a subtle kick from the Calabrian chili, balanced by artichoke and a bright Chablis spritz, all served with toasted focaccia. While it's meant for sharing, I had it as my entrée and it was satisfying and packed with flavor. I paired it with the prickly pear margarita with tequila, which was as beautiful as it was delicious. It's a vibrant pink, lightly sweet, slightly tart, and incredibly refreshing drink. Definitely a standout cocktail! My server was friendly and attentive throughout, which made the experience even better. Another fantastic visit all around. ----- Stopped by Postino Highland Park solo one evening and really enjoyed the experience. Parking was easy, and the atmosphere was ideal for an evening out with its dim lighting, candlelit tables, and a cozy, relaxed vibe. Service was fast and friendly, even dining alone, which I appreciated. I ordered the smoked salmon board and a glass of Prosecco. The board included both cold and hot smoked salmon, whipped feta, cucumber, pickled onions, cornichons, crispy capers, a baby Caesar salad, and crostini. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The baby Caesar was beautifully balanced, and the whipped feta was excellent. While the hot smoked salmon wasn't quite my preference (I would've personally enjoyed the board more with just the cold smoked salmon), that's more of a personal taste than a flaw in execution. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual solo dinner or a low-key night out. I'd come back, especially when I'm in the mood for cozy vibes and a relaxed evening. Still a solid choice for good food, good vibes, and a drink after a long day.
