Always like to be able to order my pizza the way I want it and no one does that better than MOD! Picked up our son for an early dinner and found this place nearby, which was perfect. No line at 4pm so we got right in and placed our order. Guy helping didn't seem to happy to be there but took our order and got us taken care of quickly. Pizzas came out quickly and delicious. As we ate together, the manager was out cleaning tables, asked we liked our food and was clearly on top of things. Nice and clean spot, we'll be back. read more

I've visited MOD a few times now in different states and they have a consistent vibe. The staff always seems very cool and empowered to make your order the way you like it without nickeling and diming. The atmosphere is hip but also laid back. There's something so sweet about pizza and salad, a match made in heaven! Both options are made-to-order in-store. The pizzas take a few minutes but still relatively quick. I like that the pizza combos that are lighter, thin crust, andlots of veggie options which is my favorite kind of pizza. MOD has unique pizza options while not too shocking. Love all the calories listed for every item and size! Also like all of the different portion options of the pizzas and the salads. Go mini or go big! It really gives the person ordering the ability to control how much or how little they want at that time. Most places have some booze options, too! I'm especially happy when I see wine not just beer! The wine comes in a can and are also a Washington state product. They're pretty good! They're not always in every area but I feel like more and more are popping up! I really don't think you can go wrong with MOD pizza! For fast casual pizza, it's solid because it's still cooked in a wood fired oven right in front of you. I miss living so close by to this location so it was a nice treat to stop after a good ole IKEA trip! I've tried a handful of their pizzas but I tend to go back to the Tristan. Cheese, pesto, mushroom, and roasted red pepper... oh yum! I also love to add some spice by getting their Sri-rancha... but sadly I think they've changed their recipe because it just wasn't as good. I could tell it was different right away by the color of it and mentioned it to my husband who also noticed a difference. Bring back the old Sri-rancha!! Placed an order on the app at 8:48, said it would be ready at 9:01. Got here at 8:52 and guess when they started making my pizza: 9:01. When I asked why they waited so long to make my pizza they said they got busy. I informed them that I had been sitting there for 10 minutes and they were not busy. They were busy by the time I asked, but they literally just ignored making my order until I asked for it. Their response? "Would you like a refund?" Seriously? No desire to remedy the issue? my orders at the mod pizza has been done solely using the app. It is one of the easiest app to use compare to most other fast food restaurants. I will have give big kudos for that. You select the location, choose your favorite pizza and add anything else you might like and presto. Pay and go and pick it up. Friendly service. I like the fact that you can create your own pizza with whatever you want on it at a flat price. For someone who is picky about pizza toppings, this is a dream. It's kind of loud, but not terrible--just due to the amount of customers. Last time we were there all the parmesan shakers were M.I.A., though, which was strange. Recently discovered this gem. I've seen MOD pizza around but had never tried. A friend recommended them. Their pizzas are great. Cauliflower and gluten free crust are only a few dollars more and are the same size as the regular pizzas. They have so many fresh toppings and they don't charge you extra for adding toppings so you can get a gluten free pizza with everything you want without paying an insane amount. Yay! Their cauliflower crust is by far the best I've ever had. The service is friendly and quick! Everyone who's served me has been awesome. So far we've also tried regular pizza-amazing, salad-fresh and amazing, and the no name cake dessert which is like a Hostess Dingdong. Everything is delicious. (We've been 3 times this week!) Love this place and concept of small custom pizzas. My first time visiting I was a little confused how to order and was not sure if I could add all the toppings I want or customize it how ever. I went with the safe option of popular orders and got the mod mad dog pizza with a few extra toppings such as spicy sausage, olives and bacon. There was a line to the door when I go there but the staff still greet every customer and are quick when you order. They have the pizza dough prepared and you tell them which classic pizza you want and then you can customize it. I wasn't sure if the MOD size 11" would be too much for one person but when you smell it and are hungry it was no problem for me to eat it all. It was cooked to perfection crisp on the outside with not too much dough and the toppings stayed on top I didnt need a fork to eat it. I also had the blackberry lemonade which was great as well. I wish they had one of these back home I would be visiting more often. Prices are also reasonable, I just wish they had more seating inside since the winter was too cold for outdoor eating. I was curious about MOD Pizza as I'm familiar with the model and saw they offered vegan cheese. So, in need of sustenance while staying by a nearby hotel, SCW (Super Cute Wife) and I stopped in. When you enter stay to the right unless you ordered online in which case go to the left. You'll find the menu on the wall on which you'll find several pre constructed pizza concepts. None of those really appealed to us so we saw that you could make your own. Great. Once we got to the front of the line the employee was helpful in asking if we had been there before. We had not, so he explained a little of the process. Start with the size of the crust, then add sauce, and all the toppings you want. We both are plant based so we ordered our pizzas with the "red sauce" and wanted vegan cheese. So down the assembly line we go...I added pretty much every vegetable they had, while SCW was more conservative. At the end my pizza didn't have cheese yet and when asked if I wanted anything else "The Vegan Cheese please" and she put some on my pizza. SCW's pizza was soon behind and she had a different person preparing it. She asked for Vegan cheese, and he reached under the counter, "oh, well don't have any here I'll go back and get some." Um, so what did you just put on my pizza? Fortunately they caught it before putting it into the oven and made another one (I wasn't aware of the catch at the time) with the same toppings. Now let's delve deeper..... While in line the what I think was the owner or manager was sending several pizzas back due to wrong order, not cooked to specifications or just down right the wrong order. We watched this bit of mayhem occur which raised some red flags, but while I observed I appreciated that there was someone on quality control, as the staff seemed confused. I was in line in front of SCW (rare) and when I was assembling my pizza I told her "be really specific as I'm not sure they know what's going on." All the while my pizza was dressed with non vegan cheese. That's a glimpse into the confusion that seemed to envelop some employees. However I was glad someone caught my pizza had non vegan cheese and re made it. Ok, so now with SCW catching what transpired with my pizza which was remade unbeknownst to me we paid and waited. You have some options for finishing touches, one being Sriracha, another red sauce dobs after your pizza is done cooking. Great! I love Sriracha. I put it on a lot of things. I opted for that to complete my pizza. However when the manager/owner/finisher of pizzas put it on it was orange. Clearly Sriracha is red. Deep red. And I'm ordering a plant based pizza. So instead of Sriracha it appears to be a Sriracha aioli which likely has mayo which isn't vegan. Sigh. Best laid plans to get a vegan pizza and it was re made with the cheese mix up, then Sriracha aioli put on top making it no longer vegan. In hindsight they do have a placard stating the caloric value of the additional toppings and I saw Sriracha was 35 calories. Normal Sriracha does not have 35 calories. So that should have clued me in but I was tired. I digress. The pizzas which we ate a bit later in our hotel room were ok. Mine was better with the tons of toppings but the crust was pretty soggy. SCW was not impressed with hers at all. The toppings were fresh, but the end result was a bit disappointing. read more

After reading some of the reviews and the high rating we had to try MOD, especially since I was in the mood for some pizza. I'd love to be able to give 4 1/2 stars, because it was really good but not quite 5 stars good. The pizza with a cold beer, what more can I say. The staff were all very nice and helpful.The decor is interesting. Lots of finished lower grade plywood for part of the seating. This place is pretty rad! So many options to customize your pie and you can have al the toppings you want for right around 8 bucks. They even have vegan cheese! The pizza was brought into the office at work so I can't say anything about the restaurant unfortunately, but the pizza was pretty good. Definitely not the tastiest vegan pie I've ever had but it's probably the best value. The cheese and sauce were both pretty bland. I recommend they switch from Diaya to Follow Your Heart as their vegan cheese provider, but otherwise, great stuff! read more

Now, I've tried a similar place called, um, Schmieology and it has got NOTHIN' on Mod Pizza. After going to Schmieology first and then coming here, I was just blown away. The service is much better, the toppings more numerous and more generous and there are unique drinks to choose from each time. Today it was a Chicken, Artichoke and Spinach Alfredo Pizza with a Balsamic Fig Glaze. Doesn't that sound so good?! If I'm not feeling like bread, I can turn all those same ingredients into a salad. And normally I am not a fan of sweet drinks but I couldn't pass up their Blackberry Lemonade. "Made with fruit puree" per the dispenser, it tasted perfectly sweet and not artificial at all. I even had seconds! For a fast casual place, there's a nice laid-back atmosphere. Nothing pretentious, the to-go boxes are all within reach and drinks are self-serve so everything's easy. I love that the regular size pizza leaves me with leftovers and I can grab a lemonade refill for the road. I'm in and out in half an hour (dining in). While it's perfect for work lunches, it would also be great for a quick bite before movie night. Or take-out for home. Or pretending you cooked your date a pizza. Went here for the first time and created my own pizza. I did the white Alfredo sauce on a cauliflower crust, pizza and added garlic, arugula, chicken, bacon, mozzarella cheese. The team members creating the PIZZA were friendly and informative, but not every one of them created pizzas the same as one girl, evenly distributed toppings, a different girl that finished my order just clumped it all up together so that was a little disappointing. And when she was adding the artichoke toppings, she grabbed the little bits at the bottom of the container that were soaked and some type of liquid, (hoping it was water) with remnants of other various toppings surrounding the container. I had to ask her to not use that bin and to use fresh toppings from the almost untouched bin, seems to be common sense, but she also seemed annoyed that I had to ask. The dining area is definitely family friendly. This location has limited seating so if you're coming with the big group, I suggest you call in ahead of time to check availability. For how staffed they were the place could've been a lot cleaner. At least wipe down the drink station, take the trash out and someone wiping down tables for new guests. There was probably 8 to 10 employees working. But only 4 of them seemed to be "busy" I think I only waited 10 minutes or so for my pizza which wasn't that bad for a wait time. While I appreciate the abundant seating, cleanliness and great service, I came for the pizza and was disappointed to say the least. The crust is paper thin which I'm a fan of but it tasted like cardboard after it was baked up. A drizzle of olive oil would've done a world of good and salt was missing from the dough. The ingredients were plentiful but too plentiful. I ordered the 11" with a garlic rub, mozzarella, artichoke hearts topped with dollops of marinara. There were what seemed like 15 artichoke hearts per slice which ruined it for me. I had one slice then tossed the rest. My husband built his own which looked great but the vegetables were raw and didn't cook at all, not even a simple kiss from the heat. It was $28 for sub par pizza, two fountain drinks and the garlic sticks which were the best part. Will I be going back? I think not. read more

I have refused to eat at any MOD pizza at all. Someone has been whining about eating here and after almost a year I caved. My experience with other pizzas with similar type of assembly line specialty is to be blamed for me avoiding them for this long. I feel like I need to apologize to MOD for my baseless snub. MOD stands above the rest who tried to bring the good, the cheap and the fast to this doughy business but failed miserably. MOD is KING. Their crust for me is the reason why I'm a fan. It's chewy but crunchy. Perfectly holds up those precious cargos of ingredients that you chose. Not only that - it is TASTY. So I discovered that yes- you can have a really good pizza NOW. There.
