We ordered half cheese half pepperoni. The cheese side only had sauce on half of the pizza. The pepperoni side was burnt with only pepperoni, no cheese on it. We ordered Pepsi and when I got to the store, there wasn't any to retrieve. I asked the staff if there was more in the back and they said that was all they had there was no cola products whatsoever except for diet. My other options were Sprite, orange soda and Dr Pepper, which I do not like any of those. The online ordering should not allow me to order products that are not available. read more

Ok, I have revisited Hungry Howie's after many years! I tried using the mobile app and ordered a large deep dish cheese pizza with extra sauce. I was out running errands and thought I would order, pick it up, and be on my way home. It was 550pm on Friday Nov. 22,25 when this happened. According to the app it would take 20-25 mins. I got there early, just after 6pm since I was out anyway. I live near Watkins,Co so I could not just run home! So I waited in my car until 630 pm before entering the store. I was told that it would take another 20-25 mins and there were four other orders ahead of mine! Wow! I requested a refund, but thought that would create more of a cluster! So, I resigned myself to waiting another half hour, because it was after 7 pm when I finally left with a pizza! Insane! The pizza was fine, but I didn't get extra sauce as requested. Not a huge deal, but the wait was unacceptable. Hopefully Howie's does better moving forward! read more

I was in the area and had to find lower cost quality pizza for a group of 6. At near by store I could smell delicious pizza in the air. Boom, Howie's to the rescue. I had never even heard of this place before and I am so glad I walked in to check it out. Casandra gave excellent customer service. I explained I had never had Howie's and it was my 1st time. She explained the style (thicker crust and deep dish) I tried the stuffed cheesy bread, and got a deep dish and regular pizza as well. 20 minutes later it was ready. I was NOT disappointed. And as I looked at my receipt, I was compt. the Cheesy Bread for being a new customer. Thanks ! It's been awhile finding a good deep dish. They have salads, desserts , wings, and sodas to go. We ordered pizza, a Sub, and a Cookie. Pizza is good, except for the crust which was too hard to eat [threw it away]. The garlic seasoning was very weak, unlike Domino's. The Sub was very good - no complaints The cookie may have been good if we ate it immediately, but we waited until the next day [sealed in a zip lock bag] and it was too hard to eat... into the garbage. Really enjoyed our first experience at HH. we ordered delivery, used their 2 large deal and it was here in about 45 minutes. The pizza crust options are pretty good, I really couldn't tell a big difference between the Asiago and butter variety but nonetheless, thin crust was crispy and cooked well. We also got the Howie bread, good but not something I'd get every time. Hot wings were ok, they have a good kick and are more chile hot than expected. Will try another flavor next time. Delivery guy was fine and food was in good shape when it got here. Glad to have another pizza option out here now, papa johns is getting old an Marcos, while good, is a little steep. read more

On any random pizza I'd probably rate this place 3 stars but I'm hopelessly addicted to their Deep Dish Meat Eaters with Siracha crust. My husband always gets the Howie Maui with Garlic Herb Crust that he really enjoys. As you can imagine this can make for quite an expensive trip with us both ordering our own pizzas.... but being that we don't like the same toppings or even same kind of crust it is a necessary evil. There are couple of things worth mentioning that can greatly affect your satisfaction from my experience. First I should mention we aren't in the delivery area so I always have to stop in and pick it up. Because of this I always put my order in online ahead of time. Howie's pizza really should be eaten immediately, because while some people might enjoy cold pizza I don't think any of the pizzas we have ordered are any good cold. Don't bother trying to put this pizza in the oven to keep it warm, it will dry out and get really gross. Also, this pizza the second day is really not stellar, particularly the deep dish is pretty spongy/floppy. I have not tried any of the Calzones yet, that might be a good option for us some time. My co-worker tried Howie's and he and couldn't disagree more that this place is worth a second visit. I have to say if I had judged it on the one time I ordered a regular crust pizza with Garlic Herb flavoring I would not have been impressed enough to go out of my way to go back. My first time here. Unless I'm really blown away by the food, it will likely be my last. After 20 minutes in the lobby - when I was told "15 minutes" for my food to be ready, I was reading the reviews on Yelp about delays when my cashier called my name and said "your pizza was made wrong, we're making a new one for you now." Not a good first impression. So far I've been waiting 30 minutes and I've just been updated that "your pizza is almost up." I'll update my review if the pizza, breadsticks, and salad warrant an update. Whenever I get my food that is. There's too much pizza competition around to mess around with a new place if I'm not completely satisfied. Guys, you only get ONE CHANCE to make a first impression. Two stars. I think I had better luck than a lot of the people writing reviews so far, so here goes. I went to this pizza shop based on an email I got pitching a new pizza place that was a must try. I thought, yeah, I'll give it a go. When I got there I had a bit of an "uh-oh" moment as the places looks a whole lot like Little Caesar's. Consider me a little concerned. Ok, a lot concerned. I went and ordered and was told that my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. Ok, off I went to the gas station in the same area. Then I read the reviews about how people had to get refunds, there were massive delays, etc, etc. another "uh-oh" moment. About 10 minutes after I placed my order, I got back and sat down on the bench. My name was immediately called and my food was ready to go. I took it home, now concerned that I had Little Caesar's pizza waiting for me. I tried a piece and it was pretty good. Not amazing, but good! Definitely a good place to get a pizza from for something simple and average. I got the Asiago flavor on the crust, which has a good flavor, but isn't very bold.
