I'm sorry because I don't like to write bad reviews, but the chicken sandwiches today were bad. We actually get Wingstop every once in a while for their boneless wings and tenders (tenders are better for sure), but they had a bogo on the sandwich so we thought... why not? They just honestly were bad...the chicken was dry, overcooked to the point of almost burnt, thin, and lacking any flavor except for salt. Neither of my sons could finish their sandwich. The staff, however, was very nice and personable when picking up the order that was placed online. Not sure if we will be back or not.

Fries with ZERO seasoning.....not what we ordered.

"Fried" corn is barely cooked...after three different orders, I'm done trying. Wings are hit or miss. I always order mine extra crispy and 50% of the time they aren't cooked longer than normal. Fries are also hit or miss. Today the fries have ZERO seasoning on them so I if I could rate any lower than a 1, I would! And this rating is not based off one visit; this rating is based off several visits. Update 7/23/2019: after taking a break from Thus location for a while we decided to give them another shot....big mistake. The wings are never cooked properly. The fries corn still hasn't improved what so ever and the fries, even when we request to cook to extra crispy, come out soggy and undercooked with barely any seasoning. I'd say 10 or so visits is more than enough experience to give the 1-star rating. We kept coming back because it convenient and close.....I'll drive to Flaming Hot or Woodys next time I want wings!!

When we walked in, the hosts barely acknowledged us and just sat us down. Our server came by…read moreflustered and said she'd be with us in a second. From what I could see she only had three tables--two with entrées and one other new table--so it didn't seem like an overwhelming section. We ordered the 2-entrées-for-$20 deal. I got a strawberry lemonade and my husband ordered the mint spritz. When the waters came, one had a fly in it and the other had black specks. Twenty minutes passed and still no drinks. When I finally asked, the server came back with soda water and Sprite--but they weren't ours, and we had to tell her that. She apologized and said our drinks must have been brought to the wrong table. The food eventually came out. I asked for an extra BBQ sauce for my wings just to dip. A guy brought it and said, "Tip of advice--if you want more sauce, ask for them wet." I don't like my wings soggy; I just wanted extra dipping sauce. Maybe he meant to be helpful, but it came across as rude. Later my husband asked if the drinks had free refills. She said yes. She asked if I wanted one; I didn't at the time. She came back a little later while my drink was still full and asked again if I wanted another. I joked, "If they're free I'll chug this one," so I did--shouldn't have, because I couldn't even finish the second. Had the check in my hand reading it and she grabbed the card of the table. While she was running it, I noticed our roughly $25 maybe $30 (with tax) check was rung up as $46. I'd been charged for my lemonade three times--once for the $1 up charge because of the combo deal and twice for $4 strawberry lemonades. My husband's $4 mint spritz was also doubled. When I asked about it, she quickly said "oh i didn't say that". At that point I didn't feel like arguing and she already grabbed my card and charged it so we just left. Usually when the card is on the check it means i confirmed what im being charged so then ring it but she just grabbed the card off the table. It was genuinely just a crazy experience for no reason. Hope they get it together before they go outta business at this location.

Writing this review at McDonald's because I left this BWW Hangry!…read more1 star for the overworked and unsupported bartender. A very bad experience. Understaffed - our group of 3 served meals 30 minutes apart when all the food was ordered together. Just slow as hell in the restaurant. Bartender Scott apologizing to everyone as he was working the bar alone. Dirty plates and glasses everywhere. I should have trusted the 2 star rating on Yelp.

I really try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. We've visited Golden Flame several times…read morespecifically because they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer and gluten-free sauces--something that's hard to find. But after being disappointed more than three times, it's clear a review is overdue. Each visit has had a different issue, which is why we kept giving them another chance. But last night was the final straw. My husband and I eat out more than we cook, and Golden Flame had been a convenient option. One night, we arrived at 8:08 p.m., well before their 9 p.m. weekday closing time. I told the employee I'm Celiac and require gluten-free. She warned me it would take longer because they had already shut down the gluten-free fryer. I said that was fine--we'd wait. The restaurant was still busy, with sports on the TVs, and people who arrived at 8:30 got their food before us. When I finally asked for an update, she said the fryer had to be started back up. Our food didn't arrive until 8:50, and by then the staff was actively closing down the restaurant--cleaning, sweeping, spraying tables--right next to us while we tried to eat. The smell of chemicals and dust was so overwhelming we left half our food behind. Next time, to avoid being "inconvenient," we ordered takeout. The fries were ice-cold and the wings were oddly chewy--even though we live less than five minutes away. Then about a month ago, we showed up at 8:20, only to be told again that the gluten-free fryer was "off for the night." The dining room was still active, with multiple families eating, so it wasn't a slow night--they simply didn't want to turn it back on. We gave them yet another chance last night. I walked in at 7:56 p.m., more than an hour before closing, and the first thing I did was ask if gluten-free was available. The employee checked and said, "Yeah, it's off. It'll be at least 20 minutes before we can cook anything." At that point, I didn't even bother ordering. At this point, it's obvious Golden Flame doesn't want the business--at least not from anyone who needs gluten-free accommodations, despite advertising them. There's another wing place in town with a designated fryer, better sauce options, way better fries, and staff who aren't more excited to go home than serve customers. I'll gladly drive the extra 10 minutes for food--and service--that's worth it.
