First, when we walked in, there was nobody in the front so we were just kind of standing there waiting for someone to greet us. The young man who did eventually greet us was nice and asked us if we were ready to order. Since we'd never been there, we didn't know that the concept is to order your food before you are seated and since we were totally unfamiliar with the menu, we were holding up the people behind us so he gave us some menus and we just kind of stood to the side until we knew what we wanted. The order counter is off to the side of the entrance and seating area and is kind of in the bar area which I thought was oddly placed. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were big and pretty good. My husband got the two piece dark chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese, and I got the tenders and potato wedges. He remarked that the chicken was okay and the collard greens and Mac and cheese did not have much flavor. I tried his Mac and cheese and it seemed old and lacking in cheese or sauce. The chicken tenders were good but the potato wedges tasted old and not hot. The worst part for me though was that the tables are sticky - not because of something that was spilled but rather because of the varnish so it gives the impression that they are dirty. Also, when I used the women's bathroom, it looked like the stall doors have never been wiped down which totally grossed me out. Even though the food wasn't necessarily bad it isn't remarkable compared to any other chicken establishment, and the hype about the sauces seemed unwarranted. The BBQ and honey mustard sauces were way too sweet and the jalapeño ranch was devoid of ranch in my opinion. However, he main reason I wouldn't return is more because of the sticky tables and dirty bathroom stall doors.

I love when restaurants actually have good specials for holidays like this because it makes it feel more fun to go out and celebrate, especially when the food is something you already enjoy. I was definitely happy we decided to come here and the wings were actually pretty good! I got the BBQ wings, while my partner got the Golden Flame, and both sauces had really great flavor. The BBQ had that sweet and savory flavor you expect from a good BBQ wing, and I really enjoyed it. My partner's Golden Flame wings were also really flavorful, so we both ended up being happy with the flavors we chose. I always think it's nice when two completely different sauces are both good because it means there's a better chance of finding something you actually like instead of one person loving their wings while the other person is stuck with a flavor they don't enjoy. The wings themselves were also nice and crispy, which was probably one of my favorite things about them. I love a crispy wing because it gives you that good crunch when you bite into it while still keeping the inside juicy. These weren't soggy or overly soft, and the sauces didn't take away from the crispiness either. The sauce had plenty of flavor without making the wings feel like they were just drowning in sauce. The National Wing Day special definitely made the experience even better and I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, it really adds to the casual atmosphere. It gave us a good reason to come in, and I felt like we actually got to enjoy the holiday instead of it just being another regular meal out. It was also fun getting two different flavors so we could compare them and see which one we liked more.

The customer service was exceptional from the moment we walked through the door until the time we left. The staff was engaging, friendly, and genuinely excited to help us find flavors we'd enjoy. I especially appreciated being encouraged to sample sauces before committing to an order. I had never tried a wet Garlic Parmesan sauce before, and it was incredible. The wings remained perfectly crispy even after being tossed in the sauce, which is not always easy to achieve. The Volcanic Fries were another standout. The Volcanic sauce reminded me of Wingstop's Atomic sauce, but with a much better balance of heat and flavor. It delivered plenty of spice without sacrificing taste. Be sure to try the house-made Golden Ketchup. It has a subtle kick of heat while still getting ketchup notes. It's the perfect balance of spice and taste and pairs well with just about everything on the menu. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, with plenty of table seating, bar seating, and multiple TVs throughout the restaurant showing a variety of live sports. I cannot emphasize enough how outstanding the customer service was. Great food is easy to find, but a staff that genuinely enhances the entire dining experience is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
