First, Antonio was great! I haven't seen customer service like that in a very long g time. He was running the register and also checked on everyone to make sure we were good. He is a keeper and an asset to the company! The food was delicious and it came out quickly. We ordered # 16, #13, and a side of fried pickles. The food came out piping hot and tasted so fresh! Usually when you order a burger it takes longer. The fried pickles were delicious with just enough breading and spicy. The smashed burger was delicious, the egg was perfect and all the veggies on it tasted very fresh. We also got the tenders and babyyyy they were juicy. seasoned to perfection, and hot! I was a little disappointed with the very hot and thought it was not as hot as I expected. Now don't get me wrong the extreme run was hot and unless you love hot heat it's probably not for you. Had the number 3 medium spice level. Husband had number 3 hot spice level. The spice levels were good and the sandwiches had a lot of filling, however the flavor of the Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite nor was the slaw- it made my sandwich a bit soggy. CON: This location has notoriously terrible parking, and it can be difficult to enter and exit the parking lot. Oof. PRO: There's a variety of options that are all customizable in spice level to cater to your preference. CON: Like others have said, their hot isn't as hot as spice-lovers would like. I also noted that the hot really wasn't that hot. Perhaps the adjective "blazing" is a stretch here. Perhaps Seasoned Bird would be a more fitting name... PRO: Guy working at the register was nice enough to bring my order to my table. CON: This really didn't make up for the awkward experience ordering. I just don't think the guy at the register understood that I wanted a meal, but instead of a drink, I wanted a milkshake. That turned into a whole thing. Blazing Bird was a bust for me unfortunately and I hate giving poor reviews, but the food here was quite bland for a place that touts spiciness and I found a hair in the food as well. Aesthetically the food looked good but after taking the first bite it was not as flavorful than I expected. The chicken had some crunch to it but it was also a bit dry, the macaroni wasn't cheesy and didn't have much flavor either so it was quite disappointed. Omg! This is seriously my favorite chicken in all of Denver land! We live about 30mins away so whenever my partner or I go to the doctor we always eat there and bring some home. And if we head anywhere in that direction we detour to eat there or bring some home. Medium is not too spicy, but it has enough of a kick to satisfy us both. I sure wish they served fried okra. We have been to BlazingBird three times. The first time this past May the food was delicious; served on a buttered bun, three pickles and a heaping spoonful of coleslaw. The next time just the opposite on a hamburger bun and very, smaller piece of chicken and a slight amount of coleslaw. Yesterday we tried Blazing Bird again. I was told we 'no longer have the buttered bun' (the menu still says on buttered bun), smaller chicken, almost no coleslaw and three pickle slices. A total disappointment. The counter girl did not understand what was in the sauce when you asked her and when you go and pay they charge you for bag fee even when you don't want. "Their response is "just 10 cents" but that wasn't the point the point is that that why do you charged my card without even asking. And the food was not even edible at all, I had to throw it away. Just 3 pieces of chicken for $15. No sides or drink. Like u understand inflation but this is stealing trying to charge every penny they can. They had a great flavor profile the breaded chicken strips topped with jalapeño, pickles, sauce was killer and the slaw for freshened it all up!
