Woody's Wings n' Bar - 6pc honey hot Wings - Chicken Wings Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I happened to be in the area and felt like walking in for a beer. I ended up getting the happy hour special of 6 wings, fries, and a beverage in which I got was a beer. The service I received from Juan was impeccable. He ensured everyone was taken care of and if we needed something he pleasantly took care of it. read more

Came here because my family recommended it. I ended up getting the lunch special with 9 wings and fried zucchini. The zucchini was the highlight of my visit! I ordered 3 nuclear and 6 mango wings and...the flavors were just subpar. My service was subpar and I thought it was overhyped. Might not be returning read more

Meaty and hearty wings. Sauce selection is small but they are delicious. I have to ask for celery whenever I go. Overall a decent lunchtime value with the wings and fries. Have a beer if you want. You'll be glad you did. read more

Service was slow, but wings were good! Ordered the 70pc Wings. Had Honey Hot, Barbecue, Lemon Pepper, and hot. Sides: Zucchini, Mac N Cheese Bites, Jalapeño Poppers, and Onion Rings. Over all delicious food, no complaints. read more

Fun bartender & great wings! Last week after golf I tried their fried catfish; phenomenal! The fries & slaw are excellent too. A solid selection (10?) of tap beers too. Try this place out! read more

You don't go here for the ambiance, you go for the wings. I try wings everywhere I go and Woodys, hands down are the best wings in Colorado. I drive 25+ miles just to get these wings and they never disappoint. This is not 5 STAR dining so don't expect that. But they have a decent bar to watch the game and of course the wings. Don't be fooled by these other crappy places claiming to have great wings, Woodys is the best. read more

Good work, good workers, great staff and great chicken, family friendly , have a heart

I have been patronizing this business for many years. I used to enjoy going far more than I have in the last several years, mainly since the pandemic. I understand food establishments had it rough over that time and I tried to support my favorites as much as I could. With that being said, I hate to feel 'nickled & dimed' by a business. The main offering at Woody's is wings. The fact that they charge extra for ranch dressing to accompany an order of wings gives me that 'nickled & dimed' feeling. Just raise the price and include the dressing. And I also felt a bit pressured to add a tip for counter service. I'm happy to tip generously when provided with a service. read more

The wings here are SOOO good!! My friend Bobby and I are making our way through Denver to try ALL the wings, and this was next on our list. We've tried a different Woody's location that was combined with a Chinese restaurant, but this seemed more of the sports bar vibe we were expecting. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Service here is great. Super chill. Ordered half Hot Buffalo wings and half Hot Garlic Parmesan wings. Between the two of us, Bobby and I ordered a TON of fried sides--fries, zucchini, mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks. Those weren't as impressive but were a fun complement to the table of snacks. Would definitely come back again, mostly for the wings, fries, and beer! read more

We've tried wings from all sorts of places and we always end up coming back here- we've had issues with our order not being correct in the past so this time we went with wings only and tried multiple flavors and this was the way to go! We got the hot, lemon pepper, spicy ranch, and honey bbq and everyone was so happy! The wings were a great size and beautifully cooked. We just did sides at home which worked well for us. The app was easy to use and the order was ready quicker than anticipated! Glad to say we've found a good groove here again so I think this will be our go to spot again. read more

Honestly, some of the best wings we've ever had! They are large, extra crispy, juicy and they offer a lot of different flavor combos. I have read some of the other reviews and I'm a little surprised by their ratings. No this isn't a high end place by any means, but the food is amazing and the service has always been beyond exceptional. We have been here at least 4 or 5 times since moving to the area in May and we have always received quick and friendly service. It was packed at the bar tonight and there was only one person running the bar and he was phenomenal, checked in with us several tones, always making sure we had what we needed, I'm not sure if he is the owner, manager or employee but regardless the last few times we've been here he has always been amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great service and a chill place to have a drink or catch a game. read more

Woody's wings is just an amazing place to be. Its atmosphere is just so nice, nostalgic for me, and they've got plenty of TVs for sport games. Service is absolutely unmatched, this is the only place my father and I will go because we know they'll make our wings delicious and right how we want them. The poppers are delicious, and the wings are tasty, flavorful and sublime. Please come here and support this fantastic place! read more

Haven't been here since high school (2004) and it's the same great wings that I remember. Beer and appetizers were awesome but the wings were so dang good!! For sure a great place to watch your favorite Colorado sports team. Absolutely recommend and will absolutely return!! read more

Ordered ring for pickup. Order was correct and the wings were delicious. Will definitely be back for the wings.

I was really craving wings, so I found Woody's Wings on Yelp. I wasn't disappointed! I thought the flavor selection was diverse, with all the traditional trappings of a wing shop. Woody's also has a full bar, so I relaxed with a local beer while waiting. The service was quick and friendly. There are tons of TVs if you're interested in watching sporting events while enjoying wings and drinks. It's a great spot!! read more

We usually get Woody's when at the brewery nearby but popped in for lunch and it was every bit as good. The wings are tasty, the fries are great! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. read more

Service was good and the staff was very friendly. The wings are a nice size, but the hot isn't very hot. The garlic Parmesan are just ok. My family enjoyed the catfish. May return whenever I'm in town again. read more

This place is crap. Wings changed from original when they were up in the hill off chambers and Mexico. The service is horrible too. The only person who tries to be decent is the owner. Well idk if he is still the owner or he passed it down to his rude ass daughter. Stay away. I'd give them -5 stars if I could. read more

My boyfriend and I went there for lunch. We went to wash our hands before eating. Men's bathroom had no soap. We figured the chance of food borne illness was higher than normal being that most of the employees were men handling food. So we left and went someplace else for lunch. Really wanted some wings but it wasn't worth the risk of eating food prepared by someone that hadn't washed their hands with soap. read more

This place is way underrated here on yelp. I visted this place yesterday by the recommendation of a friend. We choose to each get an order of 10 wings. I choose the mild sauce with mine. I will start of by saying that the wings were very crispy just as I requested and had enough flavor to where sauce or dipping sauce ranch was not needed. The staff was pleasant and approachable as well. I asked the random question if they had fried catfish . Then minutes later a warm brown paper bag was placed on my table by the bartender Taylor. It turns out that one of the young men who worked there heard my asking and gave myself and my friend two pieces of fried delicious catfish on the house. Very cool of him! I shall definitely return for dine in and am giving some thought of having delivery as well. Please support this local business if you're here in Colorado. read more

I love love love Woodys wings! It's a bit far from where we live. The drive is worth it though. The wings are always crispy and fresh cooked. Going to Woody's is sometimes a monthly visit for us on Friday nights. There is not a lot of seating due to social distance because of Covid. However we usually get there between 5 and 6:30 and manage to score a table without waiting. Feeding 3 big boys can be expensive. We order garlic Parmesan, bbq, and hot. The fries are always fresh and very hot. read more

Wings are out of this world delicious. Fries are also a great side from them. Only drawback is the restaurant can get quite busy and the staff needs to do a better job cleaning the tables. read more

Was in a need for wings tonight, and thought I would try somewhere new. I ordered an order of traditional wings for myself and an order of boneless for my husband. The boneless wings were good it's hard to really mess up what I call chicken nuggets. My traditional wings were a very good size and lots of meat on each one. The only reason I knocked a star off was 1- the sauces didn't really taste different or really like what they were called 2- my husband loves macaroni salad but wouldn't eat his from here. The macaroni was cooked to long and mushy. Over all not a bad wing joint. read more

We requested that our food be ready at a specific time due to work, but they completed the order 45 minutes early. This resulted in lukewarm fries and wings. I brought this up to the employee and he said it was an issue in their system that they are aware of but for some reason aren't doing anything. Very disappointed. No offer to remake or discount or anything. When manager was requested, they said they didn't have one on till 4 tonight. read more

The service was good and the wings were on time. The ambiance was great the restaurant was clean and the workers were friendly. The cost was a little pricy because they charge you for all your sauces. I was kinda put aback by that because most wing places don't charge you for the ranch or blue cheese that goes with the meal. The only other thing that stopped me from a five star rating Was the flavor of the wings. They seemed to be sauced well but the seasoning did not stick to the chicken. Also there was a pile of grease at the bottom of the wings box which left the wings greasy not saucy. The wings were not bad but if they want to take them to next level make sure the seasoning not the grease stays on the wings. The wings had a bit of a bland taste in bites. The fries and cheese sticks were good. Mariana sauce was also very bland. But overall woodys wings is a decent place for wings. read more

Been around awhile and have to say the wings were slamming. Can't wait to come back and try a few more sauces. I liked the original sauce the best ! read more

I made an online order which was meant to be ready at 5:47pm. I arrived at 6:11 to give ample time in case they weren't ready yet. It is currently 6:33pm and the order is not ready. Apparently the order was "made" and no one has any clue what happened to it. The cashiers are ridiculously clueless and offer nothing other than an apology. Literally think twice about spending your money here. read more

Ordered takeout from here and got 10 piece half Honey Hot and half Lemon Pepper traditional wings and an order of Onion rings. The onion rings were great nice and crisp. The Honey Hot were good not super hot nor super glazed it was a mild version of both. I think If the kicked both up a notch they would be amazing mix. The Lemon Pepper were bland I wish they were a thicker glaze of Lemon Pepper I think they just dust with Lemon Pepper and Butter. The wings were fried well and were nice and hot. Will definitely try this place again. They have a bunch of nice fried appetizer options etc read more

What's all the bad reviews for? I thought this was an excellent joint. Everything was made fresh and the staff wanted it to be perfect for us. I could see the effort put in. Great flavor profile and our cashier/waiter guy could not have made things any better. Seems like a great game day atmosphere. Super flexible with each aspect of food service. It also has a great Mom & Pop feel to it so I like to support local businesses. Excellent work from this place. read more

I ordered to-go and when I got back to the Airport area I opened the bag. Oh my gosh I'm not sure how this place is even in business. The food was so terrible that I threw all of it in the trash. I asked the cashier how the chicken is prepared because my daughter has a chewing and swallowing issue due to her rare genetic disorder. The chicken was fried so hard that I couldn't even bite it. The fried catfish was deplorable...who cooks catfish in a flour based batter...that's not how you fry catfish...it's fried in cornmeal only or you mess up the authenticity of the fish. The fries were soggy & cold not even remotely edible. The only item that seemed to be edible was the potato salad and it looked store bought. The okra was fried so many times that it was burnt. I will never ever, ever return to this place. What a waste of $50! I should've known to trust my instincts and walk right out seeing it was empty. It was dark & creepy feeling inside that place...mercy! Smh! read more

Hoping they are just having an off weekend- we've been coming here for years and just love this place. We were pretty disappointed tonight however. I don't mind waiting extra time for our food as I know they get busy but things weren't up to their usual standard tonight. Fries were all mushy and tenders didn't seem to be the usual quality. Hoping things are better next time. read more
