First time ordering online to pick up, wings were average, nothing special. I asked for extra sauce, and I received nothing. My order was lost, I had to wait an extra 20 minutes to have it, and the guy who attended to me seemed to be mad and rude; it looked like he was working for free. This is my second time eating here. I ordered jambalaya never again. It looks as if it had been reheated multiple times. The rice is very mushy and the sausage was set on top of the rice. This used to be my go to for wings. I loved the neighborly atmosphere and friendly customer service. It's been since covid so i haven't been in a while as covid didn't treat establishments well and the service wasn't like it was. Tonight I came in and as i ordered I saw they had red beans and rice. My favorite. I couldn't remember if I liked theirs or not from before so along with the wings i decided to give them a shot. At first oddly half the order of the red beans and rice was cold and Luke warm so they reheated it for me with no apologies. When they brought it back out it was warm enough but it was overrun with sausage. There was barely any rice and the little rice there was had been bunched up in the bottom. The wait staff was great as I tried to decide what I wanted and the bar staff were carrying on conversations with their patrons so the service was great. They told me it would be a 45 min wait, but that I could order for delivery in about an hour if I didn't want to wait and miss part of the game. My 4 pieces of tiny wings were not a half pound may they were 1/4th and my curly fries were less than a kids meal serving. 1 spiral and about 6 little pieces. Very disappointing for a combo and drink $13 and had to go home and eat because it definitely wasn't enough. Waste of money. I'm not a wing expert and honestly I don't love eating around the bones so I tend to go for boneless. So I decided to try the Boneless Wings with honey bbq sauce, side of ranch (of course), and small order of curly fries. The boneless wings were well cooked but they were drenched in sauce which took away a bit from the crispy exterior. The honey bbq sauce was solid but not my fav I've ever had. The curly fries were quite tasty! Since I now work close by I'm sure I'll be back to try some other sauces to see if I like them more as well as try some of their Cajun options and several of their other sides since they had so many to choose from! We ordered the Spicy Peanut, Spicy Pesto-Parmesan, Inferno Ranch and Asian on bone-in wings. I have the say the Spicy Peanut was my favorite. It was sweet but with just a touch of heat and it was a thicker sauce which allowed for more transfer of sauce to mouth. Hahaha! The Inferno Ranch was a close tie for me. I love love ranch and they made it perfectly spicy here. My only downfall was that the wings were so tiny. I don't know if they purposely order smaller wings? Maybe they crisp better? I don't know. I would prefer a meatier wing and maybe that makes me more of a fatty, who knows?
