Could not be happier with this place. The outdoor seating area is right on the river with a beautiful view and sounds of the water. I got the Angus burger and was blown away by how huge, and well cooked and juicy this was, with thick quality bacon and great bread for the buns. But the truffle fries 1000% sealed the deal. Perfectly crispy big fries and seasoned to perfection. Had no idea this roadside stop would be one of my new go to spots when in the area. 11/10 read more

Nice on the river seating that allows dogs. Not much shade at all. Lots of inside tables. Located on the side of a highway. - Garlic Parmesan cheese curds were just ok. Flavor good but texture too soft and soggy -Bison burger was meh. Pretzel bun too salty, thousand island dressing type sauce was meh. Fries pretty good. Would not come back for the food. As if you need another reason to love 285. It's honestly criminal the amount of times I've passed this gem without stopping. Do yourself a favor and stop-in to soak up impeccable vibes. Recommend sitting outside and soaking up the river views while you sniff out the wide variety of delicious foods on the menu and sip on a local craft. The bison burger, truffle fries, and pasta salad really hit the spot after my hike. Perfect juicy cook and cheese melt on the burger. Surprisingly perfect truffle to salt to parm ratio on the fries. Don't sleep on the pasta salad I could have consumed an entire bowl. The attentive staff helped me make the hard decisions on what to order and kept me hydrated. Hard to follow a meal like that but then I stopped nextdoor for ice cream on the way to my car. Who knew LITTLE MANS boutique flavors could be found in the mountains. Food was fantastic! Limited menu but delicious burgers!! Your choose any 3 items to add to your burger. I added jalapeños, bacon, and pickles. Jalapeños were fresh and pickled homemade yummy. Bacon was overcooked: burnt in places but still pretty good. You have to have your full order in by 8:00 pm and we were told that as soon as we walked in at 7:30. Service was efficient. lol. The server would do "drive by drop offs" without stopping or saying anything. Atmosphere/ ambiance very nice. There are several tables that overlook the river. We weren't lucky enough to score one, but they looked great. read more

My Friend and I were on our way back from Canon City and stopped for lunch. The patio was where we wanted to sit, however it was full. The beer selection was good... the food is fantastic. My friend had the Hot Chicken sandwich, which he said was good, but not what he expected. I had the Fish-n-chips... it was one of the best fish-n-chips I've had... the fish was very very crispy and not oily at all. Service was also very good. I highly recommend stopping in. This spot is okay, being by the creek is really nice and their patio is shaded well. Service is fairly attentive although she seemed irritated at times, could've been stretched thin as the patio was pretty full. Food was good, nothing outstanding. It came out quick. We had a great experience at 2 Dads Eatery. I started with a Mexican lager that was on tap I enjoyed. My wife had an prosecco cider spritz or something along those lines which she really enjoyed and I had a sip which was great. The cheese curds are incredible, the ranch with the honey and the jam, couldn't decide which combination was best. A must order! I had the Italian grinder with pasta salad that was tasty. Enjoyed the toasted bread, good amount of meat and the toppings tasted fresh. The pasta salad was also good. My wife got the Alfredo pizza with chicken added. Also very good have a ton of leftovers. The crust has a nice crisp but still airy with the right amount of chew. We sat outside by the creek which is just an awesome way to enjoy a drink and meal. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area and I'd recommend you stop as well. read more

THEY LIED TWICE ABOUT MY ORDER in 20 min Great karma !! So I get there to pick up my pizzas and they believe that they don't have my order so they lied to me saying "we messed up your pizza let us fix that for you. Do you want a free appetizer?" I Wait for 20 minutes in the most awkward, empty room Then she comes out with only one pizza and I say "I ordered two pizza and Brussels sprouts" she had the wrong name and made up an order to save her ass lmao my order was sitting there for 20 min getting cold !! Then they tell me they give me the Brussel sprout for free, but they're still charge me for it. They all giggled when I left. WTH is wrong with those people My pizza was cold and I was charged for every item . I waited there for 20 minutes in the most awkward empty place. they are mismanaged. We stopped in yesterday on our drive from Denver to Buena Vista and we had the best dinner at 2 Dads. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery with the creek rushing by and the lush wildflower baskets. All the employees were friendly and efficient and our server was full of smiles and got our order perfect. The pretzel with beer cheese was the best pretzel I have ever had - perfectly baked. The custom pizza we ordered on the homemade crust was delicious. Wow. And my French dip sandwich with house made pasta salad with the cutest, sweet and crunchy little mountain peppers was a treat. All the meals we had were fantastic. Prices were mid range. Pizza was really good. Ambiance was better than you get in an expensive restaurant. It was right on the creek. Small town food can go one of two ways, absolutely dog water or amazing and I'm glad to say this was AMAZING. The food was so good, great vibes, great atmosphere. Was recommended to me, but seems they are too busy for their setup! Good for them, but it was very unpleasant for me. Was hoping to sit at the bar as I was solo, but there was no space there or at the high tops, and no one was looking to budge. Awkwardly picked a dining area table near the bathroom, and watched people constantly waiting or checking if the single bathroom they have was free. The views are incredible, with the mountains, trees, and river that are front and center. Great patio. The bar offers 10 local area brews on tap. The menu is simple, good, and something for everyone. They are known for their pizzas according to the locals. I enjoyed a variety of choices during my visit. For Baily, CO, this is a must stop place to patronize. The staff is friendly and attentive.
