Great place for a quick coffee. Also, their double chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Totally recommend a visit

Delicious breakfast and great service. The potatoes were my favorite and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I can't wait to go back again.

Quaint & intimate with the most pleasant staff & delicious food! The potatoes are like nothing I've had before & they were to die for! Normally I'm not much of a potato person but I couldn't stop eating these.

9/7/24 & 9/9/8/24 Wildflower Café has become a favorite for us! The first time my husband and I went, we sat outside due to how busy it was. We had the Wakey Eggs Bakey and Mountain High Breakfast--both hearty and delicious. We enjoyed it so much, we told our friends about it. On our second visit with friends, we sat inside and enjoyed the eccentric atmosphere. We ordered the Salmon Bennie (a delicious twist on eggs Benedict), a breakfast quesadilla, the Boring Breakfast, and another Mountain High Breakfast. Everything was made to order and served perfectly. Both times were fantastic, and we all loved our experiences!" Definitely recommend getting the salmon Bennie which isn't on the menu because they run out of it often. But ask for it just in case, you won't be disappointed!

Not sure we've ever enjoyed breakfast this much. My wife and I got breakfast skillets that were amazing. The guys there were excellent workers but we ate at the bar and were thoroughly entertained with their conversations. They were helpful with Colorado vacation ideas for us as well. Great ambience. Doing this every time we go to Colorado from now on. Easy call.

I visited the Wildflower Cafe in Evergreen on Easter, and it felt like stepping into a Hallmark movie. It's a tiny, adorable spot with the friendliest staff and the most delicious matcha pancakes I've ever had. I came from STL so I hope to make it here again.

If I lived even 50 miles away I would be sure to come here as often as possible. Really good menu with tasty options. My friend and I were visiting Denver and decided to stop on our way back to New Mexico. We had a lovely breakfast in this tiny cafe. We both had creative skillet meals that were very yummy. So good!

Sweet spot for a quiet and slow or quiet and quick breakfast. I enjoyed the classic Benedict. It was a bit salty but in a good way.

The Secret's Out: Why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge is Our Forever Favorite…read moreFor a few years now, my wife and I have considered this place our little "under-the-radar" sanctuary. But let's be honest--when a spot is this good, a secret stays a secret for about as long as a fresh loaf of their bread lasts on a table. (Which is to say: not long at all.) Here is why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge remains our absolute go-to: * The Vibe: The atmosphere strikes that perfect, rare balance between sophisticated and soulful. Whether you're there for a quiet morning reflective coffee or a lively evening drink, the ambiance just works. * The Bread (Oh, The Bread!): It's the undisputed star of the show. It's consistent, artisanal, and frankly, addictive. If you haven't tried it yet, consider this your formal intervention. * More Than Just a Bakery: They consistently turn out dishes that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. From the first bite to the last sip of coffee, you can tell the kitchen actually cares. * The People: A restaurant can have great decor, but it's the staff that gives it a heart. The team here couldn't be warmer or more attentive; they make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The Verdict? If you're looking for a spot that nails the transition from "morning bakery bliss" to "evening lounge elegance," this is it. We're already counting down the days until our next visit. Highly recommended--just don't be surprised if you have to fight us for a seat!

If you like a juicy burger with incredible taste, this is the place to go. Their truffle fries were just as good. I will have to go back and try the Salmon and their signature cocktails. The only negative, and this is not the restaurant's fault, is that the parking is horrible. Luckily, we went on a weekday in the winter, so we were able to park about a block away. There are a few paid parking spots, but it will cost about $10 for 2 hours if you use the QR code on your phone. If you can get to the restaurant, it's well worth it. The seating is a fun mix of tables and comfy couches, plus outside patio seating. There is a selection of board and card games available, and a slightly tucked away book for those who want some privacy (as I did on my morning visit, to take a work call). 2) The chocolate chip walnut cookies are SO good! Definitely get it warmed up. 3) Free wifi. The less good: 1) Given they roast their own coffee I had high expectations on the taste of my latte but it was just okay, nothing standout. 2) The cinnamon rolls are another thing the Muddy Buck is known for and maybe I just got one from a day-old / less fresh batch but it wasn't that great. The edges were crispy - not sure if that's intentional - I prefer my cinnamon rolls soft & pillowy. 3) The service is hit-or-miss and their overall workflow needs some adjusting. After most orders the cashier would walk away and tell the next person in line they'll be with them in just a few minutes, even if it wasn't that busy. When I got my Italian soda, I didn't get my cookie - I was told they were still working on it (it was in the display case) - yet my friend who ordered after me got her soda and cookie at the same time. I had to go up again to ask for it. 4) They're inconsistent with their use of disposable vs reusable packaging. My latte was in a to-go cup despite dining in and plenty of reusable mugs hanging there. Cinnamon roll came on a plate. Italian soda was a to-go cup. Cookie was in a to-go bag. They have both reusable and disposable silverware. Some adjustments are needed IMO.

The coffee was solid, and the pastries were warm, soft, and pillowy. But the sleeper hit here is the Muddy Buck chocolate chip walnut cookie. Gooey, perfectly baked, and genuinely memorable. One of those cookies you keep thinking about later. If you're in Evergreen and want a cozy, relaxed coffee shop where you can actually sit and enjoy your time, this is the spot.
