Cute little cafe off the main strip, nice patio. Had a breakfast burrito and avocado toast with two eggs. Order at the counter and sit. Was a perfect spot after a bike ride. Food maybe came out a little slow...but overall pretty good. Have breakfast menu and a bunch of sandwiches. Simple menu but it gets the job done!

We spent the night in a cute AirBNB cabin in Evergreen and I was looking on Yelp and my fellow Yelpers did NOT disappoint! This little cafe is so amazingly delicious! While they are experiencing the low staffing issues as every business, the food is worth the wait!! My husband got their smothered breakfast burrito and the green chile was SPICY! It wasn't just heat hot but had delicious flavor. I had their bananas foster french toast and a bowl of New England Clam Chowder because I can never resist a NE Clam Chowder. Well, the french toast was so yummy!! It was perfect in every way and bananas foster is my favorite dessert, so I figured I would love this! The New England Clam Chowder is equally amazing! If you're ever in Evergreen, you need to try Dandelions Cafe!!

Chili Relleno wrapped in scrambled eggs- soo good!

Really great and unique food- very tasty! Excellent service! Sat outside on a beautiful Fall day and it was the perfect brunch!

We came here afterwards hike and it hit the spot! FOOD + We had the French toast and omelette (special of the day on a Saturday). Both plates were delicious and filling. + The potatoes were especially delicious - would've loved to have more of those! LOCATION + Nearby other restaurants and in the middle of pretty mountains. They have an outdoor patio (you can't eat inside due to COVID). It's very nice to sit out there, especially since it's shaded. + Plenty of parking spaces SERVICE + Very friendly and accommodating! This is a great place if you're looking for yummy comfort food after a long morning of hiking.

Sitting at the bar, what a cute place.

Communal style tables, a mini book store, attached to a wine bar. This place has some attractive quirks to make it stand out from the average deli. They have a large menu with sandwiches, wraps, and all day breakfast. I think next time I'd stick with breakfast! CLEAR CREEK CLUB // Lightly peppered pan roasted turkey breast, shaved ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and mayo on sourdough bread. Admittedly, this is a very simple sandwich that anyone could assemble at home, but it's what I was in the mood for! However, the most disappointing aspect for me was the bread. They say it's sourdough, well it tasted like untoasted white bread...I was hungry, I powered through. When an average sandwich at best and a small drip coffee runs you $22, I have some room to question the quality of my experience. I'm grabbing the sandwich, bussing the table, getting the coffee, etc. Not running back here, especially since there are a few places in Idaho Springs I really enjoy going to. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, I'd be open to giving them another shot in the future!

Many with vegetarian options! But two brothers had a more expansive menu, their price point was great, and there was no wait to order. So we settled on it. They have a section for vegetarian, and you can replace the meat on some sandwiches with tofu. We wound up getting several different types of sandwiches and they were all good. I have no complaints at all. People working there were nice. Not much to say about the restaurant itself. You order at the counter and find a table to sit at, or take it outside.

And, bonus you do too. First, The Vintage Moose makes the most of their small space - they even have a back room with a few games, open windows and beyond that, a small patio. Super chill. We laughed reading all the cool signs and stickers from all around. Lots to enjoy as you partake in an adult bevvie. Just one guy running the bar and he was amazing. If you're looking for a place where the locals hang out and everyone knows everyone, this is it. We had a great time, even though we were new. We def will be back. And, if it's summer time when you go, ask for their watermelon sangria. So good.

It has that classic local bar feel - relaxed, welcoming, and full of personality. Most of the crowd seemed to be locals, aside from us and a couple of other tables grabbing a later dinner. That's usually a good sign. The drink selection had plenty of options, and the atmosphere made it easy to settle in and stay awhile. We kept it simple with a few neat pours of whiskey and enjoyed soaking in the vibe. We didn't try the food this visit, but after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen, we'll definitely be back to do that next time. If you're looking for a laid-back local spot in Idaho Springs, The Vintage Moose is worth a stop.

The Secret's Out: Why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge is Our Forever Favorite…read moreFor a few years now, my wife and I have considered this place our little "under-the-radar" sanctuary. But let's be honest--when a spot is this good, a secret stays a secret for about as long as a fresh loaf of their bread lasts on a table. (Which is to say: not long at all.) Here is why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge remains our absolute go-to: * The Vibe: The atmosphere strikes that perfect, rare balance between sophisticated and soulful. Whether you're there for a quiet morning reflective coffee or a lively evening drink, the ambiance just works. * The Bread (Oh, The Bread!): It's the undisputed star of the show. It's consistent, artisanal, and frankly, addictive. If you haven't tried it yet, consider this your formal intervention. * More Than Just a Bakery: They consistently turn out dishes that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. From the first bite to the last sip of coffee, you can tell the kitchen actually cares. * The People: A restaurant can have great decor, but it's the staff that gives it a heart. The team here couldn't be warmer or more attentive; they make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The Verdict? If you're looking for a spot that nails the transition from "morning bakery bliss" to "evening lounge elegance," this is it. We're already counting down the days until our next visit. Highly recommended--just don't be surprised if you have to fight us for a seat!
