Cute little bagel place in Evergreen. I enjoy getting a rosemary bagel with lox and cream cheese. A lot of fun flavors and sandwich options. Freshly baked bagels. I've only been once so far, and everything was on par for what I expected from a bagel sandwich joint. I had the lox and cream cheese on an onion bagel. I hope to give it a few more tries, and if the consistency is there then I'll bump it up another star. Edit: After seeing the business manger's response to my review I've decided to change my review to 1 star. I had read his unprofessional responses to previous 1 star reviews before writing my initial 3 star review and decided not to let it influence my review. But after seeing his sarcastic response to my honest review of my mediocre experience at his restaurant, they don't deserve 3 stars. No manager should be responding in such a manner to honest reviews from long-time Yelpers. I'm a local, but I will not be giving you any more business - I'm sure you're heartbroken about this. As the 1 stars continue to pile up, your business will no doubt decline, and you may begin to regret your unprofessional behavior. It cost nothing to be polite; you should either give it a try or get out of the hospitality industry. And for crying out loud go wipe down those sticky tables. This place is a local gem! Being from the north east, its hard to find a comparable bagel anywhere else, but the Bagelry nailed it. My only disappointment was myself not taking a pic of my delicious breakfast bagel. I ordered a breast bagel ( everything) with egg, bacon and avocado. They were kind enough to make what I asked. Their bagel was SO fresh and just hit all the satiating taste buds. Their salt bagel was EXTREMELY salty so be aware. If you're running those long runs, get that bagel to replenish your sodium levels. I am already dreaming about the next time I can get to this place... keep up the great work Bagelry! read more

My mom and I stopped here on our way up to Echo mountain for tubing! The workers greeted us when we came in and helped us in making a decision on what to order! We both got a bagel sandwich and a coffee. I love that you can choose the flavor of bagel for your sandwich!! The shop has a punk/rock vibe with decor, but is not too loud. Wow. The most unfriendly staff I've encountered ever. I've received better counter service at Burger King. For the three employees I saw in the restaurant there was almost zero eye contact, nothing but scowls, and no effort to be anything other than robotic. If I didn't know better, I'd say that everyone was high and just trying to get through the day. It really doesn't take any effort to smile once in a while, or ask people how they're doing or at least pretend like you're not an inconvenience being a consumer. I think this place is slightly underrated, it is close to 4 stars in my book. The bagels have a nice chewy texture and I like the option to add scallions to the eggs. The espresso machine was broken so I can't comment on any of their fancy coffee drinks. read more

I had been up late the previous night making TikToks with two grown men I met on Grindr and had worked up quite the appetite. As I walked into the Bagelry I announced my pronouns and made eye contact with a splendid young gentleman at the front counter. He was quick and efficient but something may have been off. Perhaps he was celebrating Trippy Tuesday as well. As I placed my order, I was delighted to have the tip screen default to 69%. A small price to pay for such excellent service. When I came in w my step mom who was holiday visiting and she was asking "too many" questions, the lady was short and a bit rude. Whatever. Lived here 20 years in Evergreen and I thought I'd try this place after driving by it for a long time. I am SO sorry I did. The food is microwaved and coffee not so good, and it is all so overpriced it isn't funny. However, that isn't why I am writing this review at all. It's bagels and coffee, I may have gone back if it was convenient to what I was doing... however, I am writing this because I cannot STAND the service/staff. I took three days to calm down and write this; yes, it was that bad. All young millennials working there, that won't give you the time of day. Just sit on their phones texting... I just didn't think I'd see such disrespect in such a small town where I know everybody. Another person came in right before me and ordered and then I ordered after him. He then went and sat down and was reading the paper while I was watching this disgusting place in action. (I need to mention the place if filthy...they staff couldn't be bothered with cleaning at all obviously!) After they were done microwaving his food, she looked at him, took his hot bagel and threw it on the counter, just shrugging her shoulders like it was his fault he wasn't there to take care of her every thought and whim. I finally walked over and told him what happened; he was aghast and just left...it was weird... The other three young people working there seemed to all just wanting a trophy for just being there I guess, and they wouldn't help anyone...just kept staring at their phones... I have the right to be disgusted with their attitude- even if they think that they were doing us all favors by just being there- and I will never come back to this worst place in Evergreen that I have been to.
