Cute little cafe in Golden. Thank you yelp again for the guidance. They were pretty busy when we arrived but we were seated pretty quick. It's like a cozy, comfy cafe with breakfast and lunch standard items. Our server was friendly and welcoming. It's a good neighborhood spot for breakfast.

Red Rocks Magic! We came into town from Florida based on the reviews on Yelp. I loved the pictures and the feedback from everyone that had come here. Staff was great, food was great, the service was fast although they quoted us a 10 minute wait they sat us within one minute. We chose to sit inside because Colorado heat is no joke as compared to Florida which has a breeze. We ordered a Chai Tea, Smoothie, 6 egg omelet, and a skillet all so delicious!

The sweat potatoes pancakes are perfect , not overwhelming sweet but just perfect , I had fresh beet juice , classic breakfast 2 eggs , potatoes and protein, perfect size for my stomach and I had room for more. I wanted to go back but my friend wanted to keep trying new things let me tell you will ONLY. Get delicious, nutritious and healthy breakfast at Blue sky Cafe,, so if you are visiting Denver do your self a favor and eat healthy and yummmmmmyyyyyy

Came here with my family for brunch while in Denver for a wedding. We loved the chill ambiance and the quaint decor. We were sat immediately for a table of 6 and instantly greeted by our friendly waitress. The table was clean but they have an odd protocol to leave the clean water glasses upside on the table, which is kind of off putting for germophobes like us. So we had to clean them before using em. Water pitchers are provided at the table. We ordered an OJ and snickerdoodle espresso. The espresso was piping hot and really good, not overly sweet. I ordered the farmhand skillet bc my brother ordered the country skillet. We both ordered scrambled eggs on top. Both skillets had plenty of protein content and we were stuffed afterwards. The croissant sandwich remained crispy and flaky throughout the meal. The pesto chicken flatbread was good but the chicken was slightly overcooked/dry which made the pesto sauce necessary. The English muffins and jam that came with a lot of entrees were good, and you can ask for butter to go along with it. All in all quick and warm service with good quality food!!

If you're searching for a delightful brunch spot in Lakewood, Colorado that's just a stone's throw from Denver, look no further than Blue Sky Café. This cozy café is delicious and it has a warm inviting atmosphere. First off, let's talk about the food. The menu is a perfect blend of classic brunch favorites and innovative dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone. From fluffy pancakes to savory unique egg dishes, each menu item is bursting with flavor. I went with a lunch item and got the veggie burger but others in my party enjoyed breakfast plates, like the country skillet. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. I was impressed with how friendly the staff was. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. The staff is attentive and great with offering recommendations or accommodating special requests. It's evident that they genuinely enjoy what they do, and their enthusiasm adds to the overall dining experience. I'm just visiting Colorado but I will definitely come back to this café again the next time I'm back in town!

Looked for a GF place to try. Found this one because of Other views. Great location. We got sat right away, was blown away about the amount of options for GF. The food was so good, the service was wonderful. We will 100000% be back and I have been telling everyone about this place. I wish they offered GF English muffins tho.

Decided to check this place out as we were in Golden for a weekend and it was one of the few breakfast places that could handle a big party. First impression was the drinking cups were put rim faced down on the table which seemed a little unsanitary and there were also quite a few flies flying around. Food was great though. Got a snickerdoodle latte that came out in a glass cup so I thought it would be cold but it was actually a hot latte and it was delicious. The Denver West omelette was your typical omelette but done well with just the right ratio of egg and fillings. It was slightly loud with the little bar right next to the front door where they ground coffee and made smoothies so sometimes it was hard to hear the person right next to me.

We got on the waitlist ahead of time so we breezed right into a table. Service was outstanding. Food was a solid B+, although the omelette was a little overcooked. Portions were generous and would recommend for anyone looking for locally owned spot to start the day

Truly a blue sky cafe!

We were in the area and popped in to get a classic style breakfast and this place had exactly what we were looking for. Our waitress, Elvira C, had excellent customer service! She was so friendly and welcoming. The coffees were great. We both got blue sky specials and got slightly different side options. I really enjoyed the home fries, I got mine well done and they had a good crisp to them. My only negative is $60 for a breakfast seems a little steep.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to the airport, and so glad we did. The pistachio latte was excellent along with the breakfast burrito and home fries I treated myself too. Be sure and stop by here. Your taste buds will thank you!

I have been coming to Blue Sky since I was a child and have had nothing but good experiences and think of fond memories when I see its name. It's a treat to stop in now that I've grown up, and I feel grateful it's still going strong. Blue Sky is one of many options for food in the Denver West area, but one of only a couple that are near my work that have breakfast and brunch-type foods. The restaurant shares its parking with a fair number of other businesses, so finding a spot super close can be a little tough depending on the time you stop in. There are large lots with plenty of parking in the immediate vicinity, but you'd have to walk a bit further if that's something you might be concerned with. There is a small patio out front that is usually always pretty full when the weather is nice and a coffee and juice bar right near where the hosts greet you when you first walk in. I've never had an issue getting a table right away, as lately it's just been me treating myself to breakfast on slow workday mornings, but be aware that the busy times/days of the week would likely mean you'd have a bit of a wait. The menu has all of the breakfast basics and more, and it has been my experience that the kitchen is super accommodating if you request any add ons or substitutions; whether due to allergies or simply because you're feeling like having extra crispy bacon on the side lol. The food always comes out steaming hot, and it seems like they whip up the plates super fast, because I've never waited more than a handful of minutes before my breakfast is in front of me. The food is consistently good, too, which is awesome. I haven't ventured too deep into the gourmet coffee drinks and fresh juices they have to offer, but blenders are always going off in the background, and anytime I see someone getting a glass of juice that came from the front, it always looks bomb... I'm actually surprised at myself for not being all about it considering how long I've been coming here... I'll have to change that. Anyway, the dining room is pretty clean and tables are bussed super quickly, despite the number of people that are there to eat on any given day. The staff has always been lovely, and the price point is pretty reasonable - about $15 for an omelette plate and $12 for the two egg/tater/bacon plate that I have in my list of photos. It's a great little place with an inviting atmosphere and I know I'll be back... and back and back again lol.

11 dollars for a side of oatmeal is a bit steep. It also smelled like burnt food. Definitely not going here again.

Haven't been to this eatery in about 15 years and figured I'd give it a shot. Ordered one of their…read more"new" toasted subs: chicken bacon ranch. The other 2 "new" toasted subs are an Italian and a roast beef with cheddar. None are exactly trailblazing ideas, but they are clearly delectable favorites of the sandwich world. Bread: it was good. It was "French." Had a nice crust on the outside, but soft inside and actually had flavor. One of the better chain breads I've had, especially out here in colorado where bread products typically are awful. It's also a sturdy bread that stands up to the sauce, unlike subway's gym mat bread. Veggies: honestly hard to tell because it was SMOTHERED in ranch sauce. I think they were decent. Sauce: by default, they put both mayo AND ranch on a chicken bacon ranch. Seems like overkill doesn't it? I asked for the mayo to be withheld but couldn't tell if it was or not. Wrapping: it was wrapped tightly. No complaints here. MEAT: This is my beef (pun intended hahah). There were about 2 tablespoons of chicken on an 8" CHICKEN bacon ranch. What gives? For $10 I'd expect a lot more meat than this. The meat portion control reminds me of subway, in a bad, bad way. Overall, if they could get their sauce proportions right, and actually put meat on their sandwiches, jimmy John's would be decent. Unfortunately, acquisition by private capital probably put this place on a downward trajectory. 1 star added for the bread quality. Otherwise this would be a one star joint.

It is definitely a little pricey- $25/person for a sandwich, chips and a beer/seltzer- but the sandwiches are good and are big enough that it left me stuffed so it's a decent value.

It took about 5 minutes for us to be greeted by anyone working; there were two employees working behind the counter, both were busy making sandwiches. Eventually one let us know it was going to be a few more minutes before they could take our order, to which I didn't mind - I recognize it takes time to make sandwiches. We waited for a bit (probably ~10 minutes), and then decided to place an order with them online and continue walking around while we waited. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be ready, so maybe this is the best way to go about ordering so you're not just standing around. To clarify, I didn't mind waiting but it also made sense to place the order and then walk around while waiting. I ordered the North of I70 Italian sandwich, and indicated that I wanted mayo, mustard and oil + vinegar. My wife ordered the sweet baby turkey, and also asked for mayo and salt + pepper. Neither of our sandwiches had any condiments on them (pic included). Each sandwich cost $20, and while I realize that the price of good deli meat has gone up, it was definitely a bummer to not have exactly what we ordered on a sandwich that costs so much - $40+ for 2 standard size sandwiches. The other thing to note is that the mushrooms are not fresh - also included a pic of the mushrooms which I assume come from a can/jar. Had I known the mushrooms were not fresh, I would not have ordered them. I was really rooting for this place to be good, but was overall disappointed in the experience and outcome of our order.
